What was your fasting blood glucose? (full on chat)

So much to regret in our pasts. Nobody should ever have died unnecessarily whether in war or not. Not ever. But somehow we never learn to improve on our past mistakes. In fact, "we" don't even remember them and that's one of the reasons we keep on making the same ones. . The Pogues did a better version in my opinion, but I can't find it.

Sounds like Little Miss Sparrow is on life's great adventure now.
Hugs for your poor vegetable beds @SlimLizzy
And for MrSlim's lacerations....

Conflicts armed or otherwise.

“ Violence is the last refuge of the incompetent “ a famous quote by Isaac Asimov.

Also a track of a Pink Floyd record “ Keep Talking “ with Stephen Hawkings voice.

I totally agree with dunelm.

Ps I’m not a pacifist, these days just see the total futility of conflict, let those with….enough said on this subject.

Submarines, truly dreadful and perhaps in the future the testing and engineering science involved in the aircraft industry will be applied to the submariner industry.

Stay safe all

Hope you find it is the best case scenario for your eyesight.

One feels the world is getting more and more unsafe and we need wise politicians to steer us through it.

I felt sorry for the Ukrainian father, a soldier, whose 20 year old son wanted to make his Dad proud of him, signed up only to be killed outright by a Kamikazee drone on the front.

We cannot afford treating our youngsters in this way.
God help us we are a menace to the Planet and its life and we should be it's Stewards.

Oh yuk @gennepher. What a naughty fox
Outrageous slur on Alexander/Donald Fox - totally innocent. It was that cat - lock it up. The chairperson/judge/DOJ/ is biased/ it is a witch hunt/fake news/ Brexit revenge/ all marsupials. Knighthood/pardon please.

Decided to do Glasto with flush loos, pause live moosick and snacks on demand - stocked up at W*****se earlier. "Singer-songwriter Ben Howard was the first person to play one of the main stages this year, with an early morning, blissed-out set on the Other stage." Glad I followed up and googled his work - now where's our yurt JKP?

Ben Howard - I Forget Where We Were - cool vid

Liking that

Might be asking Alexa to play me his best of, over the weekend.

Need a bucket hat fella (cowboy hats are trending though). Keep off the grass - and all other "medicinals." Texas on the pyramid stage just now. Charlene has really altered since Neighbours

Good morning everyone on what may, or may not be a sunny day or a sunny day interspersed with thunder and the songs of Stevie Nicks here in the dark and dangerous north. The task today is to take eldest son and his partner to Newcastle Airport so that they can fly off to somewhere even hotter than it has been here of late. There has been talk of a visit to a large Swedish furniture place on the way back for refreshments and to ogle at at all things not yet built and with unusual ways of assembling things (example below). Art bit, some colour added. Enjoy your walk @lindisfel and hope everyone has a decent day of it. Must be koffy time.

The colour really does cause a 3D effect!

The colouring and the sky remind me of the old Cornish Tin mines @dunelm
Some of them you could clamber in a bit when I was a child. When I was older I visited again, but I was so disappointed to find them completely cemented in. Probably they were incredibly dangerous when left open.

Off to classes in Norwich shortly. The diary Secretary has been at it again and no breaks until I finish at 5.45pm Zoom class.

Computer upgrade went well and my computer is now running superfast. We have decided to replace Mr K 's PC as it is too old to upgrade and is running really slowly now. When my sister does the admin its slowness is really making the work more difficult. She will be really pleased when I tell her.
