Not into jazz myself, find the thing annoying, with wrong notes and solos. And so on. It is not organised.
6.8 (again) cold is not going away, full of aches and pains every part of my body(ish)!
Been up and down the stairs repetively this morning, she couldn't settle overnight. And needing a lot of things, before getting some rest.
Docs yesterday, seeing a few people next Tuesday, including mental, bloods, nurse, doc again. And more tests. Still needs a lot more and counselling. I was run ragged and mentally tired last evening due to the misrememberitis, of the wife, and was under pressure to help her understand what was happening. And again this morning.
I have counselling myself this afternoon, gonna offload, as I'm feeling a bit low.
Cloudy with the prospect of heavy rain again imminent, no warmth, no sun, no real garden time!
That is it for today, hope you are feeling better than I am!
I am sorry you are feeling so low and worn down. Having a cold and feeling unwell will exacerbate that. Am hoping your counselling session will offer you some tips to help you cope. Have you investigated the possibility of respite care for your wife? A short break can do amazing things for your morale.
Awesome results, @dunelm.Good morning everyone from another day in paradise here in the dark and dangerous north. 5.2 this am - how nice is that? Chucked it down with rain all afternoon yesterday. Which is good as the ground is all nice and damp ready for a new lawn to be laid today - rotovate, top soil, turf - that sort of thing. I am leaving mid morning so Mrs Miggins will be supervising although the people doing the work have been hired for their expert ease. Need to be in Birmingham by about 1430 as there is a school fete to visit. Will the Ninky Nonks be in the egg and spoon race finals? Will Little Miss Pamplemouse fall over in the sack race? Will grandad win a fine jar of home made raspberry jam on the tombola? Probably not any of those things - the school is very multi-cultural so will hopefully win a jar of kimchi or a bag of samosas. Or not - it’s the taking part that counts (try telling that the the England cricket team). Art bit - would sir like a soupçon of colour? Hope your day has some joy in it. Best finish my koffy.

During long chat with daughter last night she confided she is half expecting ( at eight months pregnant) the baby to come early because there has been some confusion about her dates. As current delivery date is a tad inconvenient for me am really hoping she is right.
Delivery is scheduled for the 21.08.
Issue for me is ALL of our three sons will be visiting, on the only available dates for all of them 20.08 - 27.08 so I will be away for about half of their visit.
Baby is already a good size so should be fine if delivered early.
Am also nervous about driving in the UK.
Now habituated to driving on the right, in a left hand drive car and at slower speed than is normal for UK. I have never been able to drive long distances, without getting really tired, dangerously so, needing increasingly frequent and less effective breaks as the journey goes on. Will be several journeys of over a hundred miles, which I am dreading. The initial drive from the ferry terminal to my daughter's house is 123 miles and is supposed to take two hours and forty minutes. Am not going to take the two minute shorter route which utilises the M25
@SlimLizzy, probably better not to take the motorway if you are likely to be tired - it is much easier to keep alert on side roads because you have to keep adjusting to changes. If it only makes a couple of minutes difference, there's no point. All the same, you shouldn't be driving if you are too tired and perhaps should take a longer break and find somewhere to take a proper sleep or get out of the car and get some fresh air and a short walk. Better to arrive later than be involved in an accident.19.07

Yes I definitely do agree with you @ianpspurs. Peanut butter is good for you. It is so nice that it is so delicious as well as being good for you.Peanut butter is very trendy and gut microbiome friendly - ask @Krystyna23040I buy mine in 1kg tubs

Hope you enjoy the sandwich and it has the desired effect.
You will be fine. Take longer, add more breaks. I am driving down to the Bristol area, about 300 miles but I don’t need to be there until Friday. Driving to Birmingham today to see family, then a bit further on Thursday to see some friends and then the last hour on Friday. There will be lots of breaks. Be safe.19.07

Nighttime Trail Cameras in my back garden.
Too many badgers for Cat midnight.
Something spooked the badgers.
Creative is an ink painting...which is then worked on using Procreate for the black line detail.
Have your best day.
A cuppa first.

I did enjoy the sandwich and it did have an effect - not sure that it was the desired one though. Terrible stomach pains and very serious colic for a few hours - don't know if that was the wholemeal bread or the peanut butter. BG did rise - perhaps a little too far, but it was OK.Peanut butter is very trendy and gut microbiome friendly - ask @Krystyna23040I buy mine in 1kg tubs

Take it easy when driving in UK.
You will be fine.
Take all the rests you need.
It will be a good trip x
Thanks so much and I value your prayers.Dementia is devastating. We were lucky, in a way, I suppose. My father had a stroke before his dementia got too bad, although being forgotten by a loved one can be painful but not actually very hard work. He had a further stroke while still in hospital from the first and he died there. At least there was no prolonged period of attrition of the dementia for him to suffer. My husband had dementia because of Lewey Bodies - part of his Parkinsons. It went on for much longer but he was never really aware of it and so was not distressed by it. Distressing for all of us, but it was a comfort to know that he was not suffering.
With your wife still being able to be somewhat active, it must be difficult for you to cope, with a constant worry about her. It is important to remember yourself in all this. For both your sakes. There is no point in destroying your own health in order to take care of the one you love. Can you manage to get her into some kind of respite care? It might not make much difference to her but it might make a huge difference to you to get some rest.
Praying for both of you.
Definitely not a skinny latte nor green tea. I think the diary secretary has given up all hope of a sensible diary. Although she has been very good at keeping the space in my diary for my trip to the pub across the road for my lunch on Mondays and my coffee break on Tuesdays. Those two relaxing breaks are keeping me sane.perhaps someone could update/reword Peter Sarstedt's classic to I'll have one more skinny latte with Ceylon cinnamon (other en flique drinks are available except iced green tea in Starbucks Ely yesterday ) - enjoy your version and do consider replacing that diary secretary
Great song. I love the Eagles. Also love this songGood morning all from somewhere only we (plus 6k US service personnel and families) know - I guess Vlad and Xi are clued in as well. Today it is like summer - mainly in that July is a summer month. Still, Bazball rides again, I have tea, peanut butter, salad, Guacamole and salmon amongst other rich blessings Harry Kane hasn't been sold yet so I've got a peaceful easy feeling. Two contrasting pieces from our resident artists but both wonderful so many thanks. If you are travelling have a safe journey. If you are feeling burdened by worries thoughts and prayers with you. Here, lawns were cut, a neighbour's unruly Buddleia was given a stiff talking to and an overly rampant Mallow tree was hacked up with my trusty Chinese digging hoe. Man like Ian's glutes tell the tale but I slept the sleep of the blessed. Have as good a day as possible. Lyrics Genn (lyrics versions were pants)
Needed iced tea this day last year. Local news has lots of pictures of all the fires. Struggling to be 1/2 that hot today. Good news on enjoying the well scheduled breaks.Definitely not a skinny latte nor green tea. I think the diary secretary has given up all hope of a sensible diary. Although she has been very good at keeping the space in my diary for my trip to the pub across the road for my lunch on Mondays and my coffee break on Tuesdays.
