However you did it, that rose is a beautiful image on its dark background.Fbg 6.8
Hot yesterday, but there was cloud cover all day. No wind. So fans on all day, and night. Midnight is not so keen on the fans. He spread out and lay flat as a large puddle all day on my holey rubber safety mats in the garden. Must've been cooler somehow.
Wildlife cameras.
Badgers come back when Cat has left...

Creative is a red rose currently flowering in my front garden. There are two roses on this bush. It is by J and Meg's bench. Merlin sleeps on that bench daytime. The photo was messy because of all the vegetation and twigs around it. No making the background darker worked, it looked even messier. So, to do the rose justice, I lifted that absolutely perfect rose out of the photo and placed it on a blackish background. That is the first time I have done that, and I am not quite sure what I did or how I did it!!!
Midnight is guarding the daytime biscuits for the stray cats. I have started putting less out during the night for the stray cats, because those badgers are determined to get them. But then now I have a cat or two or three in the morning staring at me through my glass door asking for food because there are no cat biscuits on the swing by now...
I like to lie in my bed in a morning waking up slowly, not to leap out of bed to feed cats. Midnight is the exception to this.
Got all the doors open for the cooler morning air. It rained in the night, but my in the bedroom temperature is still 24C.
Time for a cuppa...
Have your best day.

Thank you very much IanGood morning everyone from a hazy 18c morning here on the anniversary of the accession of Charles iii, Marymas, start of the rugby world cup.and super salmon salad day. The skies are busy here due to Cobra Warrior so with windows and doors open these lazy, hazy days are punctuated by noise from our protectors. @lindisfel I hope the journeys go smoothly and questions are answered. @Annb good news on the baklava and I hope today's baking goes well. @gennepher that is a beautiful rose thanks for sharing. Hugs for those who find the weather too hot (I don't enjoy deepest darkest, coldest autumn, winter and spring. Moreso as LC food offers no joy for me there)..Take plenty of fluid onboard and remember.
Thank you @gennepher Miss RP is the most delicate of the seven grandchildren. We have a wonderful photo of her setting off first morning with her bags and a big hug from The Little Guy who is hench for a young 'unThank you very much Ian

Miss RP loves a photo. Take plenty of fluid onboard today and remember.
Great news on the fbg and answered prayers. Fits perfectly with Mark 9:23 which was in C of E NT passage this morning.5.3 this morning. I could hardly believe that fbg had dropped even lower.
Just lately I had not posted my fbg whenever it was in the high 7s or low 8s because I was feeling so down about my higher numbers and posting the high numbers made me feel even more down. Actually I had been doing a lot of praying about it - asking for help.
Help certainly seems to have arrived. Hopefully numbers will stay like this.
Good news on the fall in A1c and what seems like the correct medication after a long journey. Hug for the stress over your mum. Always a joy to hear from you. Take care.Good morning one and all. Just thought I'd pop in with an update. After taking the combination of 4 diabetes medications for the past 3 months and stopping the Gabapentin my HbA1c had dropped from 80 to 59. Patient access stated that as abnormal but when I messaged the GP surgery to see if I needed a follow up visit they replied that my result had come up as normal. I will continue with the same medication for the next 3 months and hope my HbA1c improves even more as the past few weeks have included some very stressful times re mum. I wish you all a pleasant and successful day as always.
PS fbs this morning was 7.7
I understand that, not wanting to post the higher numbers @Krystyna230405.3 this morning. I could hardly believe that fbg had dropped even lower.
