As always, hope the drip trip goes well.Morning all. Overnight rain/drizzle but no way to conclude either way if the huge investment in gutters - besides the cash it cost me a mug of tea- solved a problem. No goose here for Michaelmas - Friday is Super Salmon Salad day - duck breast tomorrow is as close as we can go. Drip trip soonish just to blow some cobwebs off the Venerable RR. I may read some posts while being infused so behave meanwhile and have an out of sight day.

Art sketch is coming along nicely @dunelm You must have a lot of patience to do this detail...Good morning everyone on quite a splendid start to the day here in the dark and dangerous north. 5.7 on the spark of life indicator. A smart new way of knowing when your prescriptions are ready - get a text - you do have to register for it. There is a bit sign telling you all about it in the pharmacy. Worked a treat yesterday. Woman in front of me, “I have called for my prescription but have not received a text message.” - Pharmacist assistant, “Oh, sorry about that, did you register to receive text messages?” - woman , “No.” - They live amongst us! Drove up to the bakehouse on top of the cliffs where they make proper sourdough bread made with organic and locally milled flour - two loaves, sitting in the fridge as it’s a bit sticky on day one. Will slice it all up and pop into the freezer, in two’s in a while. Should be a law about supermarkets calling some of their stuff sourdough when it patently isn’t. Anyhow, I can tolerate proper sourdough if I freeze it first. Art bit, a few additions. Hope you all have a spiffing day. I’m always just looking for one good day and then tomorrow, do the same. And that includes some koffy.

Low carb treats, what’s not to like apart from the size of the measuring spoons.6.8 this morning. Today I must get back on the 'straight and narrow '. Yesterday I again had too much PB, inulin, Montazumas 100% and cream. It was so enjoyable but must go back to normal amounts of food.
Today will be an easier day as not too much admin to do - so will be able to relax more.
Have the best day you can @ianpspursMorning all. Yes, they were lovely low carb treats so not too bad except for the size of the measuring spoons. Scales recorded a 2lb weight gain which reflects the size of the measuring spoonsLow carb treats, what’s not to like apart from the size of the measuring spoons.
Thank you @gennepher. Trying for so much detail takes a toll on both eyes and fingers so only a little each day. So frustrating when things that are supposed to make your life easier do quite the opposite. Enjoy the beautiful day.Art sketch is coming along nicely @dunelm You must have a lot of patience to do this detail...
I registered to receive text messages at my pharmacy...once in a blue moon they arrive. I was going this morning (I have hearing probs also if they are trying to explain why I have not had a med for 3 months and other owings and that fries my brain for a few hours, if the assistant uses different words, my brain has to work overtime and it takes me awhile to come down from that) to see if meds were ready, but it is a beautiful day outside, so I am not risking being frustrated/out of sorts for rest of day if there are problems. I am keeping today for positivity...Tomorrow is a rainy day according to weather app, so I will go then...
Have a great day...

I spent too long doing the creative again when the sun outside is calling. But it is a meditation too, a reflection time...
Begun in garage on canvas type paper as acrylics, and finished off this morning in Procreate.
Bye...sun is calling...
Garden is calling...
Where's my cuppa tea...

Mine is a Vogue 55 plate 2006 what I think of as classic shapeHi Ian,
Is your Range Rover one of those old ones, we had in the beeb, with the aerodynamics of a brick?
The roof pan was held on by four large self tapping screws and it came loose one day when we were in the South West of Scotland in a gale. So we got the tools out and pulled some of the headlining down and screwed them up.
The body felt as those it went round a bend after the chassis. Ours were petrol and did 14 to the gallon.
It was easier on the arms when they got power assisted steering but it didn't have the same feel on ice.
Happy days.
D.
Trying for that detail gave me migraine attacks half a decade ago. That's all out of my capabilities now. But it as something I loved to do @dunelmThank you @gennepher. The police will know the likely candidates for having quad bikes and chain saws at 16 year old!Sorry just saw your post dunelm, I concur, I bet that will be the police line that has been followed already
Sorry Ian, I can't get enthusiastic about vehicles the only one I didn't like giving up was the red Mazda MX6 I had in Florida for a fortnight once. It was a shock coming back to my red Astra hatch.Mine is a Vogue 55 plate 2006 what I think of as classic shape
