When I was young they said one day we would just have a tablet for each meal and not need food. What a mad idea.I remember in the early days of this century, the plan was to have free broadband internet, wifi or cable????
Except it's turned out we have a tablet with each meal. When I was young they said one day we would just have a tablet for each meal and not need food. What a mad idea.

A very dramatic grand scale @dunelmGood morning everyone from a quiet start to thre day here in the dark and dangerous north. 5.2 this am. Mrs Miggins made it over the border yesterday, ladened with jars of Scotch Mist and a copy of the poem ‘Halloween’ by Mr Burns. Ostrich steaks last night, purchased in Aldi; high in this, low in that. Interesting but they don’t fly. Art bit, another starter for ten. Hope your day is a good one. Best finish my koffy and get on with the day.

Thank you Ian@Krystyna23040 good news on having a lunch break however that happened. For me anyhow the baking worked thanks be to God for the Food Fairy. The doughnut recipe will be tweaked but for now melting very dark chocolate and stirring in some cocoa for a topping have calmed things down nicely. That was planned and done by me@gennepher thank you for sharing the creative. I'm taking a wild guess that the window has a meaning but what do I know, what do I know? @dunelm thanks for sharing the starter for 10. We like Ostrich steaks - there is/was a vendor at St Ives monthly farmers market. Bison steaks, reared on the farm and sold from the on site butchery with various exotic meats, are my favourite. That area of Cambs is far more woke than here.
Thank you @ianpspurs. I saw some more alternative meat stuff in a supermarket today - must be spreading the burned and trying to cut down on fields of bovine methane to help with global warming.@Krystyna23040 good news on having a lunch break however that happened. She's absolutely right! No way could it have stayed on the ceiling, or even in the same room. Had it been me, not even in the same house. It would have to take its chance outside, rain or no rain. There was a bit of a scene last night, a large spider appeared on the bedroom ceiling.
The duchess didn't like the idea of it dropping in her mouth whilst she was asleep.....you would have thought it was Shelob herself on the the ceiling. So I caught it in a duster and put it in the under stairs cupboard, which the duchess wasn't happy about but I wouldn't have put it outside on a wet night.
Some of us are on too many tablets! When I was young they said one day we would just have a tablet for each meal and not need food. What a mad idea.

Knackered now. The stand steps are steep at my age!!!!!Enjoy the family footy experience. Take it easy with those exercises
I have a butcher and won't touch anything else cos of the awful concoction of ingredients found in any of the stuff they make, the list is horrendous as is the taste of the only one I have touched my tongue with.Thank you @ianpspurs. I saw some more alternative meat stuff in a supermarket today - must be spreading the burned and trying to cut down on fields of bovine methane to help with global warming.
Thanks for that mate! And I appreciate the thoughts and do agree.Feel for your pain.
But i know when tested we rise.
When pushed we learn
& when required we do.
Nothing beats the love of one person for another but their death.
And we aren't on the other side yet.
God bless
Viva la loco.
My b.i.l. got carers allowance for my demented sister. Don't say any thing, but it could help you if you want to employ help. They were not poor either but even had paracetamol on the N.H.S.Thanks for that mate! And I appreciate the thoughts and do agree.
The pressure is pushing me down, and I have not got the tools needed, I believe, to push back. To know how to approach, any actual caring basics. I'm relying on my own experience and nous, to help her!
A shame that the free broadband plan didn't go ahead @Lamont DI remember in the early days of this century, the plan was to have free broadband internet, wifi or cable????
