Nailed itAs the covid enquiry has revealed, the government has a tendency to blame everyone else for all the ills of this country because they haven't got a clue what real life is all about. The trolley was very surprised the majority of council tenants did not have a garden or more than one access to their homes!
Dr Death is only interested in feathering his own. And when his political career is over, he will be off to California on his green card, with the millions that he has accrued as a financier over the last fifteen years. I watched a video, that stated, he was one of the bankers, involved in starting the run on the banks that in 2008, that a lot of people lost money, that he and his mates hoovered up!
That is so sad. No wonder your daughter was upset. It was so good of her to stay with the poor injured kangaroo.Fbg 7.9
The fireworks were extraordinarily loud last night. I placed extra cat food in the kitchen for disturbed beasties. I got woken up by a massive ginger Tom, but he picked a fight with peace loving Midnight. So I roared at him. The Tom fled. He had scared Merlin and Amy badly, and I found them outside, Merlin rushed back in, but black cat Amy needed coaxing. Then to see if Midnight was okay. He was scared and agitated. There is no need for any cat to fight Midnight. I spent the next couple of hours grooming his fur (he loves that now), and using some cat safe scented stuff to calm him, and talking softly. Then he drifted into sleep...he is fine this morning.

I would like to paint owls a wee bit longer, then find another subject.
Just had a Skype conversation with daughter in Australia. She was very upset. She had been walking and came across a kangaroo who was badly injured by the train tracks but very much alive. She was stopping/slowing down trains(every 15 mins). She was phoning different organisations, even the rail company, but no one would come out saying it was up to the rail company but they wouldn't come out. She spent over 2 hours sitting as close to the kangaroo as she could and her and the kangaroo spent the best part of two hours looking each other in the eyes. But she said she had to close her eyes each time a train passed. Finally someone came from the last phone call she made, this was not their remit to deal with injured animals yet they sent someone out to shoot the kangaroo, the guy did spend a few minutes explaining to daughter why he had to. As daughter walked away, she heard the shot. Next day she returned, but it was still left there. Nothing had eaten it. She left a flower on the kangaroo.
Have your best day.
Time for a cuppa.

And of course if it was a female she could have a very small joey in her pouch. Marsupials are rather wonderful animals, they climb from the birth canal to the pouch when they are still embryos with very tiny unformed legs.Fbg 7.9

Yes, she was brave to do all that @gennepher.She was very very sad @Krystyna23040
She tried her hardest for the kangaroo.
I think she was brave to do all that.
It will take time for her to get over it...
Good news that last night was quieter for the wild and semi-tame life. Thank you for sharing the owl - I like those colours but what do I know. I can't see a video - is it just me?Fbg 6.7

Nov 4 - Fireworks & then only the Fox all night - no badger no cats except Jade.

I call this fox Foxy Loxy. He was the first fox on the trail camera last year. He was a young fox and terrified of fireworks last year. He has his winter coat now and a lovely bushy tail. There were more clips of this visit, and he was in my garden all night, almost to dawn.
Creative...another owl, painted in Procreate.
Last night, Nov 5th was quieter than Nov 4th.
The stray cats were happier.

Pleased that there was less noise last night - we heard the goings on for a wee while but then thankfully, quiet. Living on the outermost street of our small town does have advantages. This is a wonderful Owl, very expressive.Fbg 6.7

Had to edit my post as predictive text substituted oil for owl.
