What was your fasting blood glucose? (full on chat)

Nailed it

That is so sad. No wonder your daughter was upset. It was so good of her to stay with the poor injured kangaroo.

And of course if it was a female she could have a very small joey in her pouch. Marsupials are rather wonderful animals, they climb from the birth canal to the pouch when they are still embryos with very tiny unformed legs.
Its absolutely necessary the female keeps still in this process, then the tiny Joey locks on a nipple inside the pouch.

Morning all from a dry and not cold enough to trigger the heating yet Suffolk - touch and go if it makes 18 by 8.15 am.. Goose went down well yesterday and a slice of the Keto Kristmas pudding was to my liking. Goose fat is ready for Christmas roasting so all the dorys (including John) are hunky there. We finally watched The Hunger Games last night - chillingly close to some of the nastiness coming out of the mouths of certain English holders of the highest state offices. On that note I'll bid you au revoir and wish you well now and always.

Wildlife nighttime cameras
Nov 4 - Fireworks & then only the Fox all night - no badger no cats except Jade.
1 min

I call this fox Foxy Loxy. He was the first fox on the trail camera last year. He was a young fox and terrified of fireworks last year. He has his winter coat now and a lovely bushy tail. There were more clips of this visit, and he was in my garden all night, almost to dawn.

Creative...another owl, painted in Procreate.

Last night, Nov 5th was quieter than Nov 4th.
The stray cats were happier.

Have your best day

Time for a cuppa.

Good news that last night was quieter for the wild and semi-tame life. Thank you for sharing the owl - I like those colours but what do I know. I can't see a video - is it just me?

I love your owl @gennepher. Good that it was a little quieter last night.

Had to edit my post as predictive text substituted oil for owl.

Pleased that there was less noise last night - we heard the goings on for a wee while but then thankfully, quiet. Living on the outermost street of our small town does have advantages. This is a wonderful Owl, very expressive.

Thank you for telling me.
It was in as I was writing the post.
I have just edited the post, but it kept vanishing.
I think it has posted with it now.

Thanks for the owl compliment.

Good morning everyone on a quiet and sunny start to the day here in the dark and dangerous north. Sunday roast in a pub yesterday. We went for the large one - less than a tenner and asked for an extra plate - blooming pensioners, coming in here, and only ordering one meal . You usually have to book but as we were passing the just opened door we thought that we would chance it - result. Art bit - another tree. Hope your day is a good one, I’m skipping Boom Town Rats Monday and having a Tuesday. Koffy is brewing.

Thank you, and thanks for the owl compliment @dunelm

I live on the top of a little hill, the name calls itself a mountain, and I overlook the surrounding area, right over the river from Wales to the Wirral, and over to LIverpool, and even to Black Combe in the Lakes on an exceptionally clear fine day when the conditions are right....
