Cat Jade's night on the swing
45 secs
Creative. Something I played around with in Procreate...
Something a bit bright against all these grey days...
Got a lovely cauliflower. Going to make some soup with it in a bit.
A magpie is in the garden. He has his eye on the cat food after several failed attempts to hang on to the sparrow's fat ball feeders. And is now under the swing tucking in to the remains of the cats wet food. The little Robin prefers taking the cat biscuits one by one...
I am back in bed with a cuppa, and maybe a nap, and then I will start my day again...

Actually @jjraak I think that I had got it all wrong. I had thought, and I don't know why, that driving an automatic would be very complicated. Have now realised how ridiculous that was.You got this, @Krystyna23040
You'll be absolutely fine.
Biggest issue is the improved sun tan on drivers side window arm
In many respects, as I'm sure you're sick of hearing, the auto is much easier than manual.
But i remember similar reservations my first auto, too.
I think it's the more linear thinking that tricked me at first
I had gotten so used to the complexity of...
"Start car,
*depress clutch,
*engage gear,
*balance both clutch
and accelerator until you find the biting point,
* move forward..
* Constantly monitor gear ratio/revs,
*Constantly shift up & down gears as intentional speed/speed reduction requires.
*constantly balancing forward movement / braking moments needs with deft use of brake/accelerator/clutch pedals
Repeat this Ad infinitum until You exit car "
That the simplicity of .
"Depress brake,
start car,
Slap it into drive,
Hit Gas
Come off Gas.
Hit brake to slow or stop.
Hit Gas.
Repeat Ad infinitum until you exit car"
Seemed unnatural.
**Of course using handbrake as required**
I found that forgetting the ABC
and thinking of the pedals as
STOP & GO helped
For you, perhaps It's akin to a student of yours having to concentrate on the instructors movements, while doing their best to mirror them
With the auto version, they know what the movements are and thus are not wasting time checking the instructor at the front of the class, but instead now have more time to focus on getting their body & muscles into the correct alignment for the next position or pose ?
Short link, sure you've checked similar, from the RAC.
Yes, it's a risk. We'll have to ask Alistair if we can borrow his car. That will mean Neil going in with Alistair to work at 0730, coming home to get me and delivering me at the Health Centre for 1115, doing a very large amount of shopping, collecting me, bringing me home and then going back to get Alistair when he finishes work and then home again. Long day for him when he's not feeling all that great. He'll do it though. The problem now is they get all the information on you and your vehicle through the computerised system and it's a risk using a vehicle that's not MOT'd. Perhaps you can get some help from friends but often there are unofficial car schemes where people run others to hospital and surgeries at minimal cost.

They could be so simple the driver no longer feels engaged with what's going on!Actually @jjraak I think that I had got it all wrong. I had thought, and I don't know why, that driving an automatic would be very complicated. Have now realised how ridiculous that was.
Thank you for the really helpful RAC link

BG at 0345 was 11.7. Came down a bit by 0700 to 10.3 and is still there. Breakfast soon, and insulin so, with any luck, it will go down a bit.
I will let you know @Krystyna23040I have never come across bamboo flour @gennepher. I will be very interested to know what it tasted like.
I said that our e consult had been withdrawn from end of 2022 @lindisfel and you said 'disgraceful'.F.B.G. at 0630 5.7 so within normal variation of 5.2 to 5.8 every morning.
Another wet day for shopping this am.
I see our surgery has removed the e consult forms from use. I suppose its a way of regulating work load.
Have a great day every one.

Beautiful, and lovely colours, but it makes me think of a disaster movie with a tree being dragged into a black hole. The end of the world? Maybe that's just me in an odd mood today. I didn't think I was, though.Fbg 6.7

Playing with an old painting in the Procreate file.
I am busy.
I am tired.
Hopefully I will have more time on Friday...
The magpie was on the bird table this morning. He would not give way to the pigeon, Mr Heffalump, and so Mr Heffalump came down from above and crash landed on Mr Magpie, who was shocked and flew off. Mr Heffalump got the food...
Have your best day...

Hug for feeling tired and being busy. Winner for the creative and video. Not as windy here as that creative looks but tomorrow may just be similar. Venerable RR delivered for MOT, me delivered for bloods and Aldi raided - treated JKP to their not Baileys Advent calendar. I know, I spoil her. We also visited a good butcher (spiffing venison and JKP acquired the biggest scotch egg I've seen) in Newmarket. In the Guineas shopping centre - of course it is. Main MRI report came back as stable so never mind the RR my chemical handbrake is holdingFbg 6.7

I think they remove it in the week when they are pushed. Its not permanent @gennepher but someone like yourself needs it as an available tool at all times.I said that our e consult had been withdrawn from end of 2022 @lindisfel and you said 'disgraceful'.
Now you say yours has been withdrawn.
Are they phasing out e consult?
It was such a good idea the way it was marketed originally...
