Sounds like a good day. I do like a well made scotch egg. We get them from the farmers market at a stall called The Clucking Pig - I know! Good news on the MRI chemical handbrake and all the best for the RR. Trout salad - marvelous.Hug for feeling tired and being busy. Winner for the creative and video. Not as windy here as that creative looks but tomorrow may just be similar. Venerable RR delivered for MOT, me delivered for bloods and Aldi raided - treated JKP to their not Baileys Advent calendar. I know, I spoil her. We also visited a good butcher (spiffing venison and JKP acquired the biggest scotch egg I've seen) in Newmarket. In the Guineas shopping centre - of course it is. Main MRI report came back as stable so never mind the RR my chemical handbrake is holding. Very much thanks be to God and Cambridge University Hospital. Trout salad later - how you 'doin?
I do think that the e-consult was and is a very good idea and it would be a real pity if it dissapeared. All the very best with the right lung investigation.I think they remove it in the week when they are pushed. Its not permanent @gennepher but someone like yourself needs it as an available tool at all times.
I got in at short notice because I have what's called a lot of comorbities as you have.
A partially collapsed lung on the right blocked artery to rear of heart muscle and a list of things as long as your arm. Now they want to analyse my sputum to see what's going on in the right lung.
I cannot worry, I am old and I have had a good life, I just don't want to leave my dear wife and family just yet.
My brain is as good as it was when I was young it's my body lets me down.
There were not many in the surgery this am I can't understand what is going on.
Helen is working in St Helen walk in today on a long day shift, she sees it as something worthwhile in her retirement.
With the very best wishes @gennepher
Derek
Forgot to say thanks for sharing the latest development of the art piece to which we are being treated. The same butcher had some Marmite and cheese sausage rolls which I think I would like. In general a very traditional butcher but some innovations such as those. Lots of jockeying for position in the queue, people coming up on the rails and a low counter but a stable business. We need to return to collect part two of JKP's prescription so I may take a punt on one of those sausage rolls. I'm waiting for #1 son to catch me a trout from the Lark - runs through the town - which is Suffolk's only chalk stream. I'd be pleased but the trout would be gutted.Sounds like a good day. Thank you for the art comment. It pulls no punches and hits the Tories straight between the eyes!View attachment 64319
I do like well written humour, especially with good song references. Article here. The trout was wonderful so within obvious parameters today has been very good.
Really good news @ianpspursMain MRI report came back as stable so never mind the RR my chemical handbrake is holding. Very much thanks be to God and Cambridge University Hospital. Trout
that is @dunelm shading and colour - wonderful stuff. I hope the journey home is as smooth as a baby's fiundament. @lindisfel take it easy in your desire to keep the clock from turning too fast. Cricket, more tea and PB on toast seems like a lifestyle choice Peace be with you all.some shading and a dab of colour
Thank you @ianpspurs and enjoy those sausage rolls. Hope they are better than the one in that Lindisfarne song.Good morning all on Black (Bin) Thursday here in L.A. Thank you all for the good wishes after yesterday's MRI feedback. The blood test data also came in quickly and seems OK. Phone consultation tomorrow but Drip Trips scheduled up to Feb so the consultants seem satisfied. I will enrich Abbott Labs as there are some new foods I want to test - cheese and Marmite sausage roll for example. @dunelm thanks for sharing the wonderful art. That's not just

Smashing - enjoy the brews6.1 this morning. It is going to be a really good day as my brand new replacement Nespresso machine is being delivered today.
Good stuff with another kilo out of the way - slow and steady.BG 0330 was 7.9. By 0630 it was 11.0 and has just dropped to 8.9. No breakfast yet, but I'll have to have something before I go to get my rebandaging done. Morning BG is very rarely something to cheer about, but I have lost another kilo this week. I always weigh myself just before getting my legs bandaged because that is the only morning when I don't have the extra weight of bandages - I take them off the night before and let my legs feel the air and the shower water.
Neil slept in and Alistair had to wake him up at 7.30 when he called for him so that he could have A's car today. Neil grabbed his socks and boots, put a hat over his wild hair, threw a jacket on over his pyjamas and rushed out. Next time he goes out, in about half an hour, will be a lot more sedate.
