What was your fasting blood glucose? (full on chat)

Fantastic painting. Does look somewhat Jurassic and very atmospheric.

As interesting as how you created that masterpiece is the even more salient point for me is just how stunning is the end product So many thanks for sharing. Has real peak Tangerine Dream era album cover vibes. Students sitting around, Mateus Rose in hand, stroking their beards chatting utter hollyhocks into the small hours. Good times - so I've heard. If one can remember it one wasn't there style of thing. I definitely see an ethereal image of Big Ted towards the bottom, almost in the centre. I do hope the digestive issues are soon resolved. Peace be with you.

I always describe the heavy rain as p........ down. Mr K always corrects me and says that it is persistant rain.
I just imagine you as far too genteel to use the kind of language that implies. Unless, of course, you quote Chaucer at the most apposite moments . In which case you are just as I imagine.

It is quite a photo that!

O.k. What is this about hair cuts??
I have not required the services of a barber shop for around forty years.
My blond locks when young darkened then went the way of my dad.
All the males on my side of the family are blond and it is beneficial to keep it quite short as the hair is very fine.
Every one of us has tried but it looks as though, we have a very bad wig is flattened, plastered on top.
Have had barbers shears for about the same time, and the DiL is very good. As is my youngest. Mrs L will try if she remembers!
So when I do the 5 S's in the morning ablutions, change shampoo to shine!

Apparently, tax cuts are on their way!
So what do all those who do not pay tax, get out of it?
Will be raise tax threshold instead, because if he doesnt, more of us might start paying (more) tax!
Disgrace!

As a fellow follically challenged male I liked this guy's riposte

Men only get so many hormones and if you are using all yours just to grow hair you have my sympathy . Great book, It's Friday, but Sunday's comin

Thank you very much for the compliments @ianpspurs
Blimey I can see Big Ted now!

I am doing better with the digestive issues today thank you...fennel tea is still being drunk...

Sadly not genteel enough not to use that language. Class members and clients would be really shocked to know this. Hopefully none of them read this thread.

Last French lesson we learned the phrase
"Il pleuvit comme vache qui pisse "
Apparently a very Normandy saying.
