Much sympathy for you and MrK on the loss if your little friend. He had his best life with you. This is Archie's last day with us. He had a lovely breakfast of chicken and rice but could hardly stand up. He then collapsed and we had to carrying to his bed. He is 17 years, 2 months and 7 days old.
We are so lucky to have had such a wonderful dog for so long.
Thank you @ianpspursHello to all from L.A. on a morning where , drear, dark nighted (and dayed) December seems to be visiting many. Wouldn't it be good if a festival of light could appear about this time of year? Hugs for @Annb (pain), @jjraak (cold and cough), @JohnEGreen (early waking) @gennepher (dark days) and @Krystyna23040 - yesterday and now root canal work. @lindisfel good news on the run of quality sleep. @dunelm yesterday sounds like a good day and thank you for sharing the wonderful art. That evokes memories of the Fen Washes which froze for skating near my childhood home. There was an embankment for the railway. Be kind to yourselves today - to rephrase a well known saying love yourself as your neighbour. - you can't pour from an empty cup.
Beautiful! Absolutely love this series @dunelmGood morning everyone on what looks likely to be a non-precipitous bin day here in the dark and dangerous north. A smasher of a day yesterday with a well delivered school nativity by the teeny tiny 4 year olds - no spoonerisms. A jolly catch up with some of Mrs Miggins’ siblings and spouses then back home in time for tea and medals to find a card on the mat from one of our neigbours. It’s that bewilderingly festive tit for tat neighbourhood card exchange time folks! Art bit, same theme, wet on wet with a bit of red added. Hugs for the sleep deprived and the aches and pains that life throws at us. Talking of which, I had better take my daily dose of over the counter medication and then rattle into the kitchen to make some koffy.

MrSlim has got up early and gone to get his hair cut, later he is out for lunch with a a group of men.
For weeks I have been a slow starter and will need to do better. Can't be still in pyjamas mid morning when visiting. Will be expected to engage. Socialise.
Today trying to find suitable apparel for Christmas day. Boxing day is easier, much more casual. Am sure i will be exoected to dress up for Christmas lunch. However I have few clothes that are not practical. No doubt my mother and sister will be wearing diamonds.
Such an insignificant thing to need so much thought.
Another superb piece with the brush pen. I like the sensitivity of the marks in the background agains the bold foregroundFbg 6.6

Fox jumps up on swing - Jade disappears to rear of swing, then comes back
15 secs
Jade seems to know when the fox is thinking of jumping on the swing and she moves away sharpish, but returns immediately Fox has gone. This Fox I call Foxy Loxy.
Creative...ink drawing with brush pen...
Now time for a nap
Birdies and Beasties and Cats been fed.
A new resident blackbird is in the garden...
A cuppa first
Have your best day...

but I'll try. I do, however, really like what you shared. As for light, yesterday was the Feast of St Lucy - big festival of light even here in UK. Originally, before calendars changed (1752 - must have been a pain @lindisfelthe sensitivity of the marks in the background agains the bold foreground

Cat will work best. The warmth will ease an aching hand or wrist - unless said cat is sleeping and dreaming of chasing tins of tuna.Thank you @dunelm
The Chinese brush pen makes these light/dark strokes easier to do, but I do need to have my arm resting on a cat or a cushion, enabling me to hold the top of the barrel, to be able to do the lighter fine background strokes...
I agree @dunelm
I need a co-operative devoted cat...
Thank you @jjraakMe thinks you've already got the 'Top of the Range ' model in midnight ...(heart)
Hug for the worry of fitting whatever dress code seems appropriate.14.12
