What was your fasting blood glucose? (full on chat)

6.9 this morning, just checked thermometer in garden, still, even though in the sunshine is still -2.
Really cold last night, it actually woke me up, Had to go, then got out pair of pjs that I have never worn. And they were uncomfortable. But still managed a few more hours. Never worn anything except my birthday suit in bed and can't have heating on, cos of dry mouth and chest, and for most of the year, it is unusual for us to not have the side window slightly ajar, can a window be ajar, or is it only doors?
My back is giving me jip, Gip? It's the sciatica nerve again. So a fear of slipping outside.
It feels as though after my counselling yesterday, I have a hangover from it. Feeling low. Weather not helping. Not getting out and such.
Mrs L wanted to go out. But I persuaded her to be careful of the perils of the ice on the ground.
Ice in july?

Artwork is better than my mood today. Excellent standard as norm.
My best wishes to you all as always.
Standards Timothy! All the best with breaking in those pjs - one of those long night caps will help carry it off if you need to drop grandchildren off at school - real head turner. Good bloke persuading Mrs L from venturing into the icy abyss and of course, many things can be annoyingly left ajar and even agape. Hope your hangover mood improves as the day unfolds.

Isn't that where your brother lives... :bag:

" Duner la lun, duner la lun, dun dun whooo whoo who....."

Any chance of asking him if he can get the grinches autograph for me...
I asked him and from his home in Rye, or is it Wry, he muttered, “Hello, telly viewers. You're watching the BBC One! In half an hour, Jenny Dickens's classic serial Bleak House. But first let's see what the poor people are up to in the first of two visits this evening to the Eastenders”.

Very similar to what I can see through my windows at the moment, they're wet and icy, so everything is blurred. Colours very similar as well. Cold, cold, cold. Poor birds, even though used to the outside, it must be pretty cold for them.
Fell asleep watching Spring Watch and was asleep 90 minutes. So this is the man in the machine removing his digit from the pause button.

I do not think it is the climate change, @Annb
We have bad weather exactly this time every year here and sometimes we are snowed in completely for a week so I would say from where I live from my perspective, this is just a normal freezing below zero winter so far...with the occasional snowed in for a week thing.

I hope you make it easily and safely to get your legs re-bandaged.

Can you re-bandage your legs yourself in an emergency just to tide you over for a few days?
The snowdrops are not showing yet in our garden. There has been a lot of frosts.

Greeting minions of the dreaded T2D.

A home made curry last night, some cauliflower cut up roughly and identifying as 'Rice'.....cute

Delicious & tasty.

I'll admit I added one of those small Naan Breads .

Bloods on awaking...only the heavenly angel of Seven.

7 POINT 2 to give her her full title.

Come on down honey, you've been sorely missed ...xx

So with that great start to a lazy day, me & furry nephew..(could turn in to a hostage scene if they ask for him back...just saying )

Are debating where to walk to today ..he seems very insistent on the local doggie park, all that chase me, chase me....he's addicted I think.

I'll let him decide and see where his lead, leads me .

Did I mention my FBG was 7 POINT blooming 2...whoop whoop ....
Brilliant FBG @jjraak

The tyranny of the sat nav.
If I should be so unfortunate as to have one of those 1984 devices that cause softening of the brain.
Rule 1. The most important rule. And only rule.
Thou shalt not be switched on unless completely lost.
Ps. it doesn't know and isn't fit to speak to a mouse.

That’s what I used to do drive around in the middle of nowhere till I was thoroughly lost then tell the sat nav take me home and see where it led me could get quite interesting sometimes.
That's the tyranny of John Green. Playing tricks on Robots, you are living science fiction John.
They use to reckon if you tried dividing, one by zero, it zapped the infantile computer brain

However it probably had a secret plan.

Nighttime wildlife video
Jade tries several times to lick the frozen water...& all the other nighttime visitors come to visit...
I do have a bucket of water in my kitchen and another in the garage...but Jade doesn't come into my bungalow...
1min

Creative...3 bits of graffiti (?) I saw yesterday. Or was someone commissioned to do these? These 3 were by the docks where I was parked...

Have your best day...
Time for a cuppa and a nap...

What interesting graffiti. I wonder if they were some school(s) art project?

Our bed is has it's mattress in a five foot by six foot six inches shallow wooden well. It so heavy for us old people for us both to man handle. There has been a couple of years until a remarkable change in the way I feel , makes me realized it was angina all along. I had pain in my back, breathing difficulties, without pain and migraines, their auras all caused by silent angina.
So you see why I suddenly feel better only my cardiologist indirectly gave me the reason.

So this bed with a big mattress that failed prematurely, was assessed for replacement last week wont bother me in future and as my fitness improves as it never could with permanent undiagnosed angina. It required a heart attack to get a massive improvement.

We shall be replacing a monolithic mattress with the monolithic one that had failed on one sideith two six foot six by two foot six mattresses this Wednesday.

Good morning everyone from a Whistle Down The Wind start to the day here in the dark and dangerous north. An exciting and surprising 4.8 at 0600. Didn’t last long once liver got its nose in and photobombed it. Always some body part wanting to ruin it all for everyone else. Bladder is the worse culprit, especially when having a jolly nice time walking in the great, public convenience free outdoors. According to some American tourists, all mountain paths and peaks should have ‘rest rooms’. Luckily I know how to sit on a rock to rest or hide behind a shepherd’s Bush. Art bit, blockbuster video card smeared paint decided it was the local cliffs. Hope your day is a good one, I don’t have a clue what mine will be like but then I think horoscopes are about as much use as the weather forecast. Koffy - that constant, is calling. Grumbling brightly.

We did similar 10 years ago and had individual electric head and foot risers installed in the bases.
