is it any wonder I'm feeling blue?Fbg 6.5
Cats & Badgers this windy night - Fox was about but off camera, or between the video clips (there is a break between one video clip and and the next, and there were about 200 video clips of Storm Isha of nothing, just trees and plants waving at the cameras), the high winds kept triggering off the videos), Foxy left his pointy hat message... outside my bedroom door that opens into the garden, so I knew Foxy had been about...

Creative... no time, stuff to do...not my ink painting but I found it when tidying yesterday, it's my daughter's from when she came over from Australia last summer (I took her name out). And we were doing ink paintings together...
It's not raining, although weather app says it is, but another app says no rain until 11 so I will be venturing out there in a mo...
Have your best day...
Time for a cuppa...

I was clearly wrong today and taught a lesson.Taking the duchess to Tai Chi in Carlisle for 10, its so much more comfortable and quicker for her. I get to wear my heated waist coat and a short trip to Sainsburys for the toillet, and if I find time drags I could make it drag more by listening to womens hour.

The way you are going about things seems entirely sensible and rigorous. You hypothesised that cooked and cooled resistant carbs would possibly be doable and tested that out. The result seems to bear out your hypothesis. I know the mantra is we count carbs not calories but there must be a recognition of the possibility that low carb can be low satiation if it is just too low calorie. If you feel hungry it could just as likely be your body telling you it really needs more food as the carb craving. There is a danger that orthodoxy/group think won't allow alternative explanations - says the ChristianThis morning's results:

I took my normal insulin that I would take with any amount of carbohydrate, about 15 minutes before eating. Peaking at plus 2.8 but dropping again quite quickly, it seems to work for me. Only problem is pasta is not very filling and I've been hungry for more carbs all morning. I do think that having carbs just feeds the craving. I suppose it means that I could have a small amount of pre-cooked and chilled carbs alongside a larger amount of protein. This is not to say that eating carbs won't make the weight pile on again.
Today I am going to have 3 meals (another minus point) because I don't feel as though I've eaten anything yet. So I'm off to get some cold meat or fish to make a quick snack.
I find that those really safe places afre usually logical, if you can only remember the logical thought that put them there! Well done you for working it out. Any idea where I might have put my birth certificate and marriage certificate? I have many of them for the last few generations of my family, I have my late husband's, but I can't find mine. Just hope nobody needs to see it in the near future. It feels like boasting, but I found the lost driving license in about five minutes. MrSlim has spent hours searching...over several weeks, actually it was in an extremely logical place, in his briefcase, along with birth and marriage certificates etc, in an envelope marked DVLA Swansea. Par avion. Such a good thing it never got posted.
Weeks of unnecessary stress over it finally over. Am now about to go and post both our licences to finish the exchange process.
Well - Christianity has suffered from rigid orthodoxy throughout its history, as have most other religions. Trouble is, it's all a matter of faith, not evidence. There are also liberal thinkers in all faiths - not that their faith is weaker, just their minds a bit freer. Same with diabetes and, probably, many other health issues. The way you are going about things seems entirely sensible and rigorous. Keeping an open mind could well see you in the ducking stool or at least bring people with pitchforks and burning torches to your door. You dangerous heretics and free thinkers are a scourge.Well - Christianity has suffered from rigid orthodoxy throughout its history, as have most other religions. Thank you IanMorning all from a wet L.A. No known fbg to report. @Annb you aren't a wimp for needing pain killers and good idea to test the pasta while there is time to correct matters if needed. @gennepher thanks for sharing - gifting to us - your daughter's gift to you. @dunelm 1 job eh, we all know how that usually ends. Thanks for sharing the splendid art. @SlimLizzy good news on Mr Slim being approved for a driving licence. I know the very, very safe place story only too well. We have a fine collection of door hangers for wreaths - somewhere. @Krystyna23040 great fbg again and the park sounds wonderful. My day will include allegedly organic, grass fed, antibiotic free steak. How true those claims are and whether it is also taste and pleasure free is entirely different. Does food (especially LC/Keto) taste better if one believes the hype/claims? At least I'm trying - very, very according to my nearest and dearest. Of course, I don't recognise that. Enjoy Tuesday everyone.

Thank you @gennepherBrilliant @dunelm
Thank you @ianpspurs. Job completed and despite a couple of messages with photos of old buildings attached, nothing further. Enjoy that steak despite the hype - endeavour to persevere.Morning all from a wet L.A. Well that experiment went well and worth repeating. Dear subject A, what would happen if you ate some protein first, immediately before the pasta, perhaps with a bit of olive oil and parmesan mixed in - would it a) make you feel less hungry and b) would the protein cause slower absorption and a lower spike? This morning's results:

EDIT: Libre started yelling at me that BG was dropping too low (3.9) so I just had a couple of dates to stop the drop. Now will get some ham or something.
Marvellous - break out the trumpets and, of course mention it all week. Hope that the licences exchange process goes smoothly from now on although we are talking French beauracracy. It feels like boasting, but I found the lost driving license in about five minutes. It's your brain telling porkies because of the effect of the abnormal response to carbs. The way you are going about things seems entirely sensible and rigorous. A duplicate marriage certificate is exactly that. An exact copy. However a duplicate or replacement driving licence has a different issue number therefore not an exact copy and if required would derail the replacement process meaning MrSlim would have to restart the tedious process all over again. I can understand why he was stressed about it. What i cannot fathom is why he didnt find it. There were perhaps twenty pieces of paper in the briefcase...I find that those really safe places afre usually logical, if you can only remember the logical thought that put them there!
