Thanks for the concern. This is just for the few days before Sunday's sigmoidoscopy. As for a diet which doesn't cause side effects or health issues I am increasingly sure there is no such thing. Just a matter of when and how major - die with them or of them. Low carb isn't and can never really be enjoyable for me. Being quiteI am so sorry - that makes it really difficult (impossible) to achieve a diet that is both enjoyable and doesn't cause side effects or health issues.
Yes - definitely a resounding "win" @ianpspurs. Especially as you don't find low carb in any way enjoyable. Apart from salad and cream in coffee of course. Thanks for the concern. Being quitecompetitive once I started all I ever wanted to do was to "win at all costs." Firstly by"sticking it out" because I wasn't going to quit awful as it was. Then I managed remission so to some extent that is currently a "win" which equals enjoyment for me. The food is largely bat pooh crazy. I do like salad and cream in coffee so not all bad.
Because you are a decent human being, @Lamont D .Why do I care too much?
Hug for that shoulder and neck strain. Tricky stuff helping people to move and can lead to nasty back injuries. I got the info in the picture below from NHS website so may be worth speaking to them. All the best and hope the injury is not servere.Just time while darts are on.
FBG last few days between 6.2 & 6.4.
That is amazing with the anxiety I am currently going through.
My counsellor was struggling with my outpouring of feelings this afternoon.
He tried but another bad day.
Woke up tired, and fed up with it all.
I have been in pain with my neck, as I tried to help Mrs L rise up, but unfortunately slipped and pulled down my arm she had hold of to steady herself. That put too much strain on my shoulder to neck area. It chuffin hurt.
I am not trained as a care worker.
And I could be doing more harm than good. I don't know!
Enough for now I will catch up. It's been difficult to even reply to some in the RH forums.
With the cold weather upon us again and of course the never ending deluge I may get time.
Worried about Derek. Just more upon more anxiety.
Why do I care too much?
That is my counsellor last question today adding, if you think it will go wrong..........
I don't know,
Very difficult to remain positive when it is one thing after another @Lamont DJust time while darts are on.

Enjoy the weekend @dunelmGood morning everyone what has the appearance of a smashing day here in the dark and dangerous north. Every day is a good one for me if I actually wake up in the morning - ever so ‘umble Master Copperfield . Today is a mystery trip day, into a mystery weekend - over to the west coast to an Air B&B near a little town called Grange-over-sands where the River Kent flows into Morcambe bay. Some walking along the estuary, woodlands that sort of thing - hopefully evading crowds of tourist flocking like murmurations of starlings because some bored and frankly lazy reporter thought it was clever to publish a story about some wonderful unspoilt location known only to locals. Art bit - oh well! - but maybe not as Fleetwood Mac warbled about. Best slurp some koffy and immerse myself in the day.

Always best to hang up I think. Got a similar last week from my “Bank Fraud department” - yeh! Right. Hung up and called my bank - they told me it was a known and increasing worry. Hope your GP surgery gets you an appointment quickly - if you can get thought.Had one off those ca Lld yesterday supposed to be from my mobile phone company saying you have been selected for a reduction in your contract subscription new it was leading to asking me for financial details or some such I didn’t feel like faffing. About so just said look I believe this to be a scam call either hang up or I will he hung up.
Fbg this morning 5.6
Also had a phone appointment with one of my consultants seems my heamoglobin is low so he is concerned that my poor old body is bleeding from somewhere and could I contact my GP to investigate the cause and he also wants to increase the frequency of my blood tests oh well if it’s not one thing it’s another.
So you have to start from the beginning of the queue again? What happened to the days when a consultant referred you directly for further investigations @JohnEGreenHad one off those ca Lld yesterday supposed to be from my mobile phone company saying you have been selected for a reduction in your contract subscription new it was leading to asking me for financial details or some such I didn’t feel like faffing. Thank you @gennepher - the recipients of your cards remind me of the feud between Constable and turner when Turner thumbed in a red barrel in his painting Helvoetsluys at the vernissage. The piece today was wet paper using a spray bottle and then Indian ink applied with a bamboo dip pen but any dip pen or ink pen would do. Paper taped to a board inclined at about 40 degrees, maybe a bit less. Once dried, background of watercolour using a flat dry brush, little paint, watered down so that it dries quickly before each colour is added. For tomorrow (already done) - a reverse - spray bits of the paper with spray bottle and apply watercolour background using a spray bottle to tease the paint and on an inclined board. Once dried I applied watercolour to the dip pen using a brush and used the dip pen to paint trees (you will see it tomorrow). Another thing, when paint is still a bit wet, sprinkle a bit of salt on and see what happens as it dries. hope that helps.Enjoy the weekend @dunelm
Love this new series very much.
I am getting some feedback on my postcards I paint on here and send, and although everyone says they are wonderful, amazing etc, I am getting a BUT...could we have a little colour, like a red cardinal etc.My little black ink paintings are painted from my soul that morning. If I were painting something commercial, then yes I would.
Your little series with these colours move me emotionally. They are would what I would like to try. And would satisfy both me and the recipients of my postcards...
Can you give me any hints please. I would be grateful. I am preparing a little area with paints, brushes etc and hopefully will start in a few days...I will still be doing them on those little postcards.
Thank you.

Ah, I remember J telling me all that about Turner now...Thank you @gennepher - the recipients of your cards remind me of the feud between Constable and turner when Turner thumbed in a red barrel in his painting Helvoetsluys at the vernissage. Yes, some years ago we were horrified to read in our daily paper an article in the lifestyle section with the headline 'Britain's best kept secret' - which was about how wonderful the vast empty unspoilt expanse of Holkham Beach was.hopefully evading crowds of tourist flocking like murmurations of starlings because some bored and frankly lazy reporter thought it was clever to publish a story about some wonderful unspoilt location known only to locals.
