Yes they do at Gateshead but alas I have a better half who insists on walking every, and I mean every single bloomin inch of the hateful, spiteful, nay argument inflicting and harmful thoughts provoking place! Obviously you can tell I quite enjoy going there!Ah! Ikea! That big Scandinavian blue and yellow box of mazes and short cuts.
The nice thing is that just as you get on the track to everywhere, there is a short cut stage left to the cafe and then another short cut to the land off exit doors. (Well, in Gateshead at least).
Okay I'm in but I'm not happy with the headgearcos i'm considering joining the resistance.
A friend & I went to Ikea in Edmonton once (that was enough) we were the first ones there...lots of space in their huge car park...we shopped had coffee & came out a couple of hours later...couldn't find the car...after 40 minutes we spotted it...by the time we got home we were barely speakingbloomin inch of the hateful, spiteful, nay argument inflicting and harmful thoughts provoking place

Ate they actively discouraging us so they can make money, vast amounts, for longer. Makes you wonder. The more people that test the sooner the facts will out.I have my meter & testing strips issued on prescription...I self funded for the first year realised how valuable it was for T2 management...discussed it with GP who pointed to my local CCG who didn't allow that...I read the NICE guidelines & devoured the minutes of my CCG's meeting where they discussed this issue...managed to take them apart then challenged their refusal to allow GP's to prescribe testing strips on prescription...it was successful so it can be done.
Brilliant!Banana or apple? Both ‘healthy’ snacks.

I have the same problem with my good lady. Every nook and cranny. But here the entrance is a choice challenge, lift, stairs or escalator, I always wait for the youngest unfitest looking youngster to take the stairs then sprint up getting to the top before them and lean on something looking cool, of course my heart is pounding and I darent breath until they have passed me with a look of bewilderment. You can also try walking backwards on the trolley escalator, without a trolley though as they stay locked in place. Then there is the baffling coffee machine that I always manage to put my cup under the wrong place, causing huge floods. So fun can be had if you look for it.Yes they do at Gateshead but alas I have a better half who insists on walking every, and I mean every single bloomin inch of the hateful, spiteful, nay argument inflicting and harmful thoughts provoking place!
I've used one before but not to its full potential. I didnt realise then just how much data it stores!Good luck with the Libra - hot tip. Download the app to your phone. Then, activate the sensor first with the device and then with your phone. I only use my device for activating the sensor (it logs the sensor number as a back up) and then use my phone, which also logs the sensor number (useful info in case a sensor is faulty and you need to ring them).
Mhh.
EDIT 8pm 15/8
I look at all the wonderful signatures and when i first came on board they truly inspired me,
but recently i wondered if those hosting or guiding in the GP surgeries, might benefit from more information, more easily garnered, on just how successful the LCHF. keto, Low carb, etc diets on here can be.
We always here how test data applies to other programmes & websites, But we seem to get left out as Type 2's practising a Low carb type of diet, as championed by so many on here.
Maybe it's time we stirred ourselves, created our own data bank of how successful THIS forum has been for SO many of us, and generated some facts and figures of our own to boast about..
For those wishing to take part, please do add the information requested below,
BUT do please feel free to hashtag out anything you are not comfortable sharing.
any information about how well we are doing will helpful.

suggested we add Pre-Diabetic data...
agree we all look forward to seeing improvement & that's the score we all seek first
weight was also suggested..Conscious it's high on many priorities, BUT also want to keep info concise and readable if possible. i suggest start & current weight would be sufficient.
Intention is to be for all T2D's
AI see it as useful and applicable to T2's..but i love you T1's as well.
( Not sure format would suit or if already done for T1 elsewhere.)
also the purpose is Proving that LCHF, Keto or Any other form of diet on here has benefits
for Type 2, it''s offering proof those diets work
for Type 1, insulin is already proven to work.
happy to hear from Type One's as always.or those practising any other diet.

Adding weight loss my also be inspiring to newbies
anyone else want to QUOTE this post and ADD theirs just beneath mine ?
then we can just pass it on and each of us can delete as we go to save cluttering thread?
And would keep all the data in one post for easy recall.
***, This is almost as stupid as the phrase, “adults should drink 6 glasses of water a day”. - OOH! My body has a different storage tank for plain water than for koffy, tea, beer and the wet bits in my bangers and mash - In the original paper it says (paraphrased), “adults should drink 6 glasses of water a day, most of which can be found in your daily food and drink”.From DUK!!!
It's under your name. You might need to go into your settings. I see it on my mobile. Does nobody else?Confused! I am not insulin dependent, take no meds at all, sorry if I have given this impression somewhere.

I listened to a video yesterday from amazing local dr unwin. He has gone from last to 1st in treatment of t2d across country. Got national award. Sent £57000 of unused funding back to government!!! He is amazing.
