What was your fasting blood glucose? (full on chat)

Yes they do at Gateshead but alas I have a better half who insists on walking every, and I mean every single bloomin inch of the hateful, spiteful, nay argument inflicting and harmful thoughts provoking place! Obviously you can tell I quite enjoy going there!

Morining all

bad morning.
woke up grumpy.

but she's now gone to work, so all is well...

just kidding, shes dog sitting
so i enjoyed some me time..well me & a vodka or two time, if i'm honest.

Specs for the day 5.5...not too shabby.
looks like rains this afternoon.
out for meal with steph, Boy/f and FiL..thai..
so shall be testing before i head out and maybe after in loo,
so i don't get accused of being obsessive
( FiL has T2..cake eater, and the 'Oh, You don't need to bother with that'.,,
and the debate about that might just spoil a nice day for all )

Great meals over last few days, appetite IS back.
and the foods i now have have have been delicious.

mon Steak..to die for.
tues lamb chops..never tasted so good
wed Mince in stuffed peppers..easy peasy..on the menu for next week steph gave it 5 stars
Thank you @JohnEGreen

last night was omelette i made earlier and a pre packed Cesar salad, tomatoes and a few slices of Chorizio
washed down with some halo, strawberries with a splash of cream...delicious.

A friend & I went to Ikea in Edmonton once (that was enough) we were the first ones there...lots of space in their huge car park...we shopped had coffee & came out a couple of hours later...couldn't find the car...after 40 minutes we spotted it...by the time we got home we were barely speaking

Okay I'm in but I'm not happy with the headgear

Ok i get that.
biker here, so helmet hair (what's left ) is never an issue.
wearing a scarf may not have the same effect, but we'll just call the dress code as Casual Warrior, happy

Oh and by the way, you can't be our Sarah connor.
your much too valuable to risk...

we NEED you as our Erin Brokovich...

@johnpol will of course play Arnie..(the good T800 cyborg obv)

Ate they actively discouraging us so they can make money, vast amounts, for longer. Makes you wonder. The more people that test the sooner the facts will out.

Sorry mate ..
i make her right.

drives me crazy when the missus wants to dash from one aisle to other in the supermarket...

good morning all

4.7 today

quiet day today with a bit of luck, mum's visitors have arrived safely and I'm plotting an assault on my kitchen cupboard

Hope your day treats you kindly

I have the same problem with my good lady. Every nook and cranny. But here the entrance is a choice challenge, lift, stairs or escalator, I always wait for the youngest unfitest looking youngster to take the stairs then sprint up getting to the top before them and lean on something looking cool, of course my heart is pounding and I darent breath until they have passed me with a look of bewilderment. You can also try walking backwards on the trolley escalator, without a trolley though as they stay locked in place. Then there is the baffling coffee machine that I always manage to put my cup under the wrong place, causing huge floods. So fun can be had if you look for it.

I still hate the place though.

I've used one before but not to its full potential. I didnt realise then just how much data it stores!

Love this.
I did something similar for our Birmingham event last year. I'm always tweeting it around as it's such a powerful A4!

From DUK!!!
***, This is almost as stupid as the phrase, “adults should drink 6 glasses of water a day”. - OOH! My body has a different storage tank for plain water than for koffy, tea, beer and the wet bits in my bangers and mash - In the original paper it says (paraphrased), “adults should drink 6 glasses of water a day, most of which can be found in your daily food and drink”.

Your body doesn’t care where your sugar comes from - it’s just sugar for crying out loud. Here is a book for DUK to read.

Great Post @Debandez

Loving the "Long silent scream from the liver" that predicts T2 among others 10 years before it appears
and 20% of people seem to have it.

That tsunami of T2, could get even worse then predicted if we don't take note of NFLD

And took comfort in the case study where the Full fat made the HDL increase (good) AND the trigs go down (also Good )

and funny to boot...28:30..

and a good bit about insulin and how it worked AND what it helps 34:04

"Low carb gives us choice & Control, and that stops us being patients, reliant on doctors"
(paraphrased, but i liked it )

balance....
"Carbs to your meter
Fat to your bathroom scales"
interesting..mmhh

mans a god send
