What was your fasting blood glucose? (full on chat)

Thank you @Lamont D and yes, those Beefeater uniforms are as peculiar as Westminster Abbey. Posh - comes with far too much baggage.

Pencils are a great medium - a variety of hardnesses and they do blend well with just a rub of a finger. Hope it gives you some pleasure.

6.3 this morning.

We are shortly off to Felbrigg hall for a lovely walk around the park and woods and then of course coffee in the courtyard cafe. I have already packed my Montazumas so I am not tempted by the salted caramel ice cream while Mr K and Poppy share a sausage roll.

Creative...one line sketch. She looks like a care worker. She is a larger lady, and her uniform is too tight on the top. It was a hot day...

I need a nap. Been awake since 3 am.

A cuppa first.

Have a good day...

Good morning everyone on a wonderfully quiet start to the day here in the dark and dangerous north. An uneventful journey home yesterday - uneventful train journeys seem to be the best of it nowadays - train actually exists, seat booked still available, train leaves on time, air conditioning actually works, toilet does work, train arrives on time - result. All else is garnish. Out today for a walk in the dales with a pal who is raising money for Lymphoma Action Charity. There is the prospect of lunch in a pub. Art bit, another Indian ink splodge and a few additions. Hope your Sunday is a pleasant one. Mine feels like a Monday and probably caused by having a weekend away beginning on a Thursday. Best sort out some koffy.

Smashing sketch - enjoy your nap

Love this hedgerow art bit @dunelm

I find it difficult posting on a mobile phone I must get my PC back working so I can use it again.
Someone tried to improve the PC when I was in hospital and made a mess of eveything.
Derek

Yes I find using my phone difficult especially when the predictive text takes over and you are restricted with the likes.
It’s enjoying when someone messes with your rig and is not as competent as they think.

Morning all from a sunny start to Whit Sunday in L.A. Who else remembers Whitsun Bank holiday stolen by Sailor Ted not TBW? All Villeins used to have a week off from serving the Lord of the Manor. Ah, those were the good old days - or not. Today is also the birthday of our firstborn - thanks be to God - and farewell to Jurgen Klopp. The Guardian sees him and Emma Hayes as a significant loss to UK society far beyond the football world. @dunelm thank you for sharing your art. Enjoy the walk and, possibly, lunch. What a wonderful thing for your friend to be doing. @gennepher thank you for sharing another amazingly well observed sketch. @Annb hug for the painful start but winner for resuming your journey with art. @Krystyna23040 enjoy Felbrigg. Enjoy Sunday as you see best: there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit.

Afternoon all

Blood sugars this morning were 6.4

Still unable to devote time to the thread, but the decks are being swabbed to use a nautical phrase.

Strangely enough I have not been able to devote time to my plinky plonky ( keyboard) practice and my playing seems to have improved. Hmm thinks!

Now it’s my nap time….nite night.
