ENTities!!!!!Thank you @Annb
Thanks for the tree compliments. Since being a child I always believed tres were really alive entities...
Good morning everyone on a splendidly quiet start to the day here in the dark and dangerous north. Recovery day today after all the gallivanting about over the bank holiday weekend. Car to drop off for service and MOT so I expect that I will be several bags of denarii worse off. Humbug! There is a garden centre within walking distance of the garage and Mrs Miggins is keen to track down a specific rose in the David Austin range of expensive sounding plants. Bah! I expect that rules out another week without paying the below stairs staff - hang about, that’s me! Art bit - a tree branch. I am expecting it to be reported as Tuesday today so hope you take all advantages. I am going to start with some koffy.
It was this one that Mrs Miggins wanted - called Malvern Hills - well, we found one so it will go into the garden tomorrow - hope it rains a bit (what am I saying?)Just some of my roses.
have more but not in full bloom.
not a clue their genus.
Lovely roses.
More lovely roses. It was this one that Mrs Miggins wanted - called Malvern Hills - well, we found one so it will go into the garden tomorrow - hope it rains a bit (what am I saying?)
The genus will be Rosa @Lamont D. I have a species Rosa canina agg. plus two cultivars Rosa Mermaid and Rosa Suffolk in flower. All have a delicious scent.Just some of my roses.
have more but not in full bloom.
not a clue their genus.
I should have a surprise for you later today... @Lamont DENTities!!!!!
Trees????
do you know something I dont?
are you a believer?
do you hug trees?
or just draw them?...........
........I'm having fun again @gennepher.
Sorry!
I'm really jealous.
If I try, they look like the cheese string things! Yuk!
Thank you for your kind wishes @Krystyna23040 . My daughter has been told her job is safe - but having been involved in a takeover myself in very similar circumstances, I have advised her to look for another job. In my case we had all the assurances etc. Then three months later a significant proportion, about 25%, of the workers were sacked. It was a great shock to us all after all the reassurances we had been given.Hope today has been a better day and that Kiki is OK. Hope also that your daughter's job will be safe.
Thanks @ianpspurs and enjoy emerging yourself into the chaotic juggling of a house full. Neither Grecian 2000 or Just For Men work - or so I have been toldGood morning all. Seems as though the vibe here is roses which are obviously very British but I can't stand them in real life. @Lamont D yours look splendid and in photos I'm quite happy with them. JKP likes them and has two special ones in memory of her father and sister. @dunelm thank you for the art and enjoy your day with TGIB. @Krystyna23040 I hope Poppy - and yourselves- enjoyed breakfast. The menu looked interesting. We have four grandchildren here for the next two days besides the two dogs and a 94 year old. What could possibly go wrong? I must away and do final pre-arrival H and S inspection as JKP has left Ely with the Little Guy ™ and Big sister - she's 5 you know. She will be so disappointed when someone tells her that she can't vote - yet. Enjoy Wednesday
Love the tree @dunelmGood morning everyone from a mad rush morning here in the dark and dangerous north. Girl In The Bubble’s dad is krank so mum posted her through our letterbox on her way to work at just gone 7am. She is now on pre breakfast jigsaw puzzle number two - Pepper Pig of course! I am waiting below stairs for her breakfast order to materialise - choice of three so have to be on my toes. Later, and hopefully the weather will hold, a wander down to the play park for swings and slides and roundabouts before a trip to the cafe for “toast and butter please lady”. It’s a toasted muffin - and has to be cut into triangles, well, as triangular as you can get with a circular blob of toastiness. The remainder of the day is a mystery - the future is unknown. Art bit - a tree - blimey! Hope your mid week goes well. Mine is a cracker - I managed to get out of bed without any complaints from limbs or joints. Koffy, best get that organised before that breakfast order comes in.
