The one LC item I missed more than anything while we were away was my new Biona organic crunchy peanut butter which has a little bit of sea salt in it. Since childhood I have hated any food with salt in but surprisingly I really love this peanut butter. So do I @krystyna
I firmly believe our choice of foods is 99 per cent habit. That said, even habits of a lifetime can be modified or replaced for good, if there's a desire to do so.
It helps to focus on the many delicious foods we can safely eat, and not dwell too much on those that we really shouldn't have.
I really enjoy my food, it must be said, and seldom feel the need to deviate from my LCHF lifestyle these days, but then I've had more than 20 years practice!
Friday's FBG 4.7 mmol/L on waking at 6.00 am.

Bloods this morning were 5.1
Stay safe all.
Thought four or fore or for the day hope a political canvassers calls round and then cry havoc and let loose the dogs ov war.
Lost my licence John due seizure in hospital back in Feb. Hope to get it back but doubtful I have a special scan next Friday. The think I may have Lewis body dementia. Hope not. I would prefer not to get any older. But that is not an option. Are you going to be townie Derek not by choice I gather? A hug for that and your health worries.
I hope you get the best possible outcome from the scan on Friday @lindisfelLost my licence John due seizure in hospital back in Feb. Thanks Ian....Morning all from L.A. in the Brecks cum epitome of left behindness. Presumably why Nick Timothy has been chosen to replace Matty Boy and work his magic on the local JAMS. Ideal man for the citizens of nowhere. From our driveway turn right twice and travel 200 yards and one is in the ersatz fens: giveaway clue, the soil ain't black. Travel about half a mile further and there is the American military industrial complex red in tooth and claw surrounded by thousands of pigs and fields of tumbleweed. Quite, quite bizarre. No known fbg, sorry readers. @dunelm thank you for sharing the last two pieces of art and the very on point memory loss zinger. @gennepher thanks for the video and creative yesterday. Today is self awareness day - see attached. Canvassers? I can honestly say so far in my life I have never had any. Presumably because it has always been assumed that one could stick a blue rosette on a bag of human waste and it would be elected. I am tempted to say and it has happened a few times. Enjoy your Saturday now it is apparently summer - another Brexit bonus I must have misunderstood.
Thank you @ianpspurs. I once knew a General Uselessness. Think he trained with General Sir Anthony Cecil Hogmany Melchett.Morning all from L.A. in the Brecks cum epitome of left behindness. Many thanks GennepherI hope you get the best possible outcome from the scan on Friday @lindisfel
Hugs that things go well for you.
Hope the scan brings a result you want. It certainly isn't much fun getting older with all the baggage that goes with it - otherwise we'd all be happy to go on forever, or until boredom made us want to end it all.Lost my licence John due seizure in hospital back in Feb. I live a few minutes from the centre of town, give minutes more through the tunnel to the city.Nice male bullfinch on patio at breakfast. What colourful birds the males are.
I don't know how I will live in town and miss all this wild life.

No tar or feathers? My uncle Bill always kept a bucket of water handy for just those sort of occasions by the window above the front door.
My great grandfather was a bit of a troublemaker as well he used to regularly get ejected from the city council’s meetings for heckling the councillors.
There was a General Ulyseless, s. Grant he was an American, but he became president and accused of causing peace, and then scamming the country.Thank you @ianpspurs. I once knew a General Uselessness. Think he trained with General Sir Anthony Cecil Hogmany Melchett.
Yes, sensational for us and plenty of food for the hard-working pollinators @genennepher.
Rest assured that's the sort of garden wildlife likes @AnnbI've come to the conclusion that we no longer have a garden - looking out of our back door we are now confronted by a veritable forest! All that can be seen is the front line of trees and then dark depths where there used to be paths. The only clearance is what used to be the drying green but now sports grasses about 10 inches tall. With all that's been going on, Neil has had no chance to get out to cut the grass down to size. The garden was designed with wildlife in mind and I can only hope that somewhere in there the wild creatures are having the time of their lives.
A bullfinch! What a treat! @lindisfel Shy birds, but their numbers seem to be on the increase in British and Irish gardens.Nice male bullfinch on patio at breakfast. What colourful birds the males are.
