Great tree @dunelmGood morning everyone from under what appears to be a blue tinged sky (for now at least) in the dark and dangerous north. 5.5 this a.m. and already tea has been consumed and laundry folded and squirrelled away. Mrs Miggins and I did a bit of tidying up in the garden yesterday after picking up The Girl In The Bubble from school. Weeds were picked. Planters and seedlings watered and Mrs Miggins declared that the grass would be cut on Wednesday. Then last night it rained so I am expecting a day of bright sunshine in readiness for that grass cutting proclamation to come to fruition. Birthday of one of our daughters in law today so will await patiently for any last minute plans - she is a scenes of crime officer so who knows how her day will go. Anyhow, art bit - another tree. I am having a bit of fun practicing these old Chinese methods of illustrating a tree. I hope your day goes well but if you do fall into a hole, stop digging, stay calm, don’t add angry or negative emotions to the equation - unless of course you are banging in nails and hit your thumb with the hammer. Then all words in the lexicon are allowed as you dance your jig. Koffy - it’s a new bag today - marvelous.
Glad the MRI is rescheduled @ianpspursAfternoon all from an at best unseasonably tepid L.A. My MRI is rescheduled for Friday morning then on to Cambridge for a face to face with oncologist. Thank you all for the hugs. I have been reading and rating posts. We just used Snappy Shopper which may be helpful for those in similarly rural areas (@lindisfel ?) not covered by the big boys. Our order came within the hour. I found the attached very amusing, possibly due to confirmation bias. I like Squires work any how but here is the whole piece for anyone interested. I think he ridicules all the major players (bar one?) so quite fair. Enjoy wrap up Tuesday.
Don't Welsh offensive language sound better than Anglo -Saxon?Great tree @dunelm
This is an exercise I have been wanting to do with Chinese trees, but there are so many things I want to do and do not have enough time to fit it in...oneday...
I used Anglo-Saxon words last night very forcefully. My accounts did not add up, I thought I had made a serious mistake. Today, just now, some paperwork was sent me, and I found I was one day out, and that was now in my favour. All is more than well. Just one day can make that heck of a difference...I take back those Anglo-Saxon words. Such a relief....
Enjoy your new bag of coffee...
No idea...I don't speak Welsh ....Don't Welsh offensive language sound better than Anglo -Saxon?
don't believe it!No idea...I don't speak Welsh ....
Thank you @gennepher. Pleased for you that the accounts were finally in your favour - pencil and paper, a calculator if you must - just not made by Fujitsu. There will always be a stash of Anglo-Saxon words when you need them.Great tree @dunelm

Nice of you to indulge the shop lady - she will feel happy to have ‘helped’. Smashing sketch of J and that green is a great choice.Fbg 6.8
Like everyone else in the UK, it is cold here.
Sun was out earlier, but the icy wind descended...
I bought something to eat while doing all my messages, and was going back to the car to eat it, when I realised the sun had warmed the brick wall next to me. So I leaned my back on the brick wall and the heat to my back was bliss. But a lady shop assistant came out of a shop and insisted on bringing out a table and a chair for me. I told her I was very happy with my back on the lovely warm wall, but no, she thought I should be sitting down in comfort. Presumably because I am an 'old' lady. I 'had' to sit down because she brought the table and chair out of her shop. But now I had the icy wind whistling all round me, and the lovely heat from the brick wall was no more...I wished I had gone back to my car...I realise the shop lady was being kind...but...
I needed a nap (in my nice warm bed) when I got back home, hence it now being late afternoon before posting...
I am going to fish out my heated jacket when I get out of this bed. Thanks @lindisfel for reminding me...

There are not enough minutes and hours in a day for me...
Have your best day.

Some wins in there for sure and you surely deserve that curry. Funny that we say Anglo-Saxon when we have little evidence that they had such fruity words and seem to have been quite straight forward with language - probably those monks writing stuff down - Old Norse and Germanic languages however, get in there!6.6 pre dsn appointment.
What a kerfuffle.
Toni is a good, no an awful two hours to get Mrs L ready, and repeated explanations later.
We arrived at the surgery.
More fussing and cussing, as Mrs L needed encouragement to go in but the pharmacy was visited first, after ten minutes just looking, had already booked us in. We sat down in surgery.
Our new and latest can started with me.
Good news on every thing hba1c 40, liver and kidneys function down, cholesterol down, weight the same, BP good, feet very good, so I'm quite pleased with that.
Mrs L didn't have good news, her hba1c is up, her function were up slightly, cholesterol down, feet being referred to paediatric, but that is no surprise, BP is high, but expected. Weight just a tad higher.
So a new tablet for Mrs L, it is the latest version of ozempic, in tablet form, to replace the gliptin.
More sorting out of her prescription.
More fun in pharmacy, more fun with vans in a car only, car park.
Got home, made a cuppa, put it in front room, Mrs L has escaped, in bed. So all her stuff left for me to take up.
Sometimes, just sometimes, I did whisper some Anglo -Saxon choice language.
Feet up for a bit, curry going on soon.
Must go, more tea required.

Reassuring news so far @lindisfelHad a response to my DAT from the scan Friday the results given do not indicate Lewi body dementia. So we'll see where we go from here.
