What was your fasting blood glucose? (full on chat)

6.1 this morning.
Have got a really long break between the morning and evening classes so will have a lovely wander around Norwich city centre.
Visiting Lakeland, M&S and Rohan and a coffee in the upstairs M&S cafe.
Enjoy the break. I like Rohan - their clothes really last. My lightweight jacket is 20 years old and still in good working order.

Sun is out, but it keeps disappearing each time I go out in the garden.
I sat on the swing for a bit, but I was freezing. Midnight is okay on the swing he has his thick fur coat....
I need a fur coat this weather...
Two little baby sparrows from this year were hopping around my feet... and the male blackbird who feeding his brood in the front garden came to partake of the cat food for his babies.... He was hopping within inches of my feet on his way to the cat bowl. Midnight just looked at them, wasn't bothered, shut his eyes and went back to sleep again...
I came back in and I'm now sitting in bed again to get warm.

Creative - I had this idea for a short series of paintings. The idea I had in my head for this picture was totally different than what I actually did. Consequently, I do not like this picture. I'm not saying it's a bad picture. I just don't like what I did. I am always like this with the first picture of a new series. I painted it last night. It doesn't look so bad this morning.

I will have another go today and see if I can get something what might be in my head. If I could attach a USB cable to my head and download what I see in my head to the tablet/computer, it would be much easier, but you can't do that yet. I've no doubt you would be able to one day....

Time for a cup of tea and maybe a wee little nap... I am ready for one....

Have your best day....

USB downloads from brain to paper - what could possibly go wrong? Smashing colours and good layout ideas - looking forward to seeing this series.

Good morning everyone on a damp, blustery and low on the heat scale start to another wonderful day here in the dark and dangerous north. 5.4 this a.m. - the force was strong within me against the Baklava at the Farmers Market in Saturday. Down through the woods yesterday and then along the lower prom. It’s a favourit route and the woods have some good alternative routes. It’s a bit longer though - over 5 miles out and back. Quite tired once we arrived back home. Funny how things change in such a short period of time. Couple of photos below. Mum’s hearing aids are causing problems so no video chats at present - gloom! Art bit - still practicing different ways of producing a tree. Hope your day goes well, anyone want to buy a sun hat? Brand new, worn only for micro seconds. Best go and make some more koffy.

Great tree...
1,000 ways to produce a tree...
Those woodland walk photos could have been taken in the woods at the back of me @dunelm

Morning all. Just letting you know (in the unlikely even anyone wondered) I'm still here, thanks be to God. I'm having some medical tests to try to find just what lies beneath. There are some known knowns, if not whys. Some known well it's not that's and some if it's that then thisses but a fair few shrugged shoulders and we may never knows. Part three of tests later today but no results - MRI scan with the exotic dye. Hope they still find a brain but if not how did I just write this tripe? Apparently 2016 has been airbrushed out of history. You've all done very well in so many different ways. No offence to people of different or no religion but God bless and keep you all. RIP Michael Mosley - thoughts and prayers with your wife, family and friends.
Update: MRI cancelled as newly installed machine has broken down.

Is it a sombre erro?
That would sum up the weather.

Fair play @dunelm

Pretty sure that would be way beyond me.

Looks a lovely walk though, there & back.

I do have to ask.
Did you go on a day trip?
Are you some kind of international agent?
Coincidental or what?
I reckon some dietician got your diabetes treatment wrong by following a recipe book? ;) :angelic::hilarious::hilarious:

6.8 on this really soggy morning thunder and lightning in the night and more downpours due later.
it has damaged my roses, which I'm going to deadhead later.
Have spent ten minutes in garden picking up leaves. I ask you, does it ever end? Why my garden?

Mrs L is having a sleep in, as we are out tomorrow for dsn review.
not looking forward to it, too much to explain and do. Logistics will absolutely knackered me.

I had an idea and prepared to splash out to get it done but after airing my idea to Mrs L, it will not be done.
Put it to her three times just in case, Mrs L misremembered. Her answer was the same, as the verbatim report was issued. 'I have told you before, No!'
Ah well!

Will have to think again, and with Mrs L, it is dangerous!

My best wishes to you my friends.
Darkening skies, washing to be sorted.
And of course, Mrs L's nosebag.

Day tripper....no, but we do like a trip out and time at other places wherever we go.

International spy ..lol
Barely able to stop myself confessing to a dozen other offences I didn't do whenever I've been stopped by the Five - O...... :hilarious:

As for the management, after my accident I realised life can be fleeting, so I try to live my best life, while enjoying & living in the moment....if that resonates with anyone.

I think @ianpspurs had it right, there are more dangers in the jungle than T2D, we should also be aware of.

Life for all its ups & downs, as you know well , is a celebration of triumph over adversity

Laughter over tears.

Even if the balance is very one sided sometimes.

Peace & love.

8.9 at 03.00 today. Finally came down to the 5's after breakfast.

Those excruciating pains I had a week or so ago came back during the night and pretty well crippled me for most of the day, but they are receding again now so I can get on with things a bit. I can't do much with my right hand at the moment, which is a shame because I am very much right handed, but using the keyboard is making it move at least. Best exercise I can manage at the moment.

@gennepher, your creative is beautiful and I'm looking forward to following this series.

Underlying ailments can be quite baffling to the white coated beard strokers. Pity that machine broke down - was it made by Fujitsu?

it’s a smashing walk @jjraak. These are the going down steps through the woods. Below are one of the going up (in our case yesterday) set of steps between the lower and upper prom.
