Great stones @lamont just like @dunelm 's series of stones....View attachment 68461View attachment 68462it was 32 degrees on my garden thermometer when I snapped these.
When I replaced the original slabs for new ones to give the kids somewhere to play in the winter, I had lots of broken stone slabs, so I used them as border stones, in and around the soil area and flowers.Great stones @lamont just like @dunelm 's series of stones....
The pink roses are beautiful as well, as are the border flowers in bloom...
Beautiful....
Perhaps I did drive them a little bit too hard. Although they did say that they really did enjoy the classes.don't drive those poor souls too hard today
You've appropriately used past tense @jjraak as should I.From the very beginning of the dash for COVID cash bonanza, none.....none have had the least bit of understanding how sleazy, crooked & downright corrupt each and everyone of them was.
The shame of this parliament should forever stain the memory of "Conservatives".
In the absence of criminal charges and real jail terms to discourage others following the same path.
I'd settle for Johnson being the catalyst for the complete destruction of the party as it now stands.
One huge stain on our democracy, imho.
Lovely colours
The animals are so lucky to have you to look after them @gennepherThank you for the artwork compliment @dunelm
I am hoping all the foxes and badgers and stray cats are okay too.
More supplies of water will be out this evening...
Great Art @dunelmGood morning everyone on a warm but so far overcast start to the day here in the dark and dangerous north. 6.0 this a.m. and hopefully a bit cooler today for the bin lorry cavalcades. My pal from LA is leaving today, flight back to Frankfurt where they have an apartment to meet up with his family. I am off on a train journey - choo, choo! It will be like an episode of Janet and John as read by the late, great Terry Wogan. More leaflets about who to vote for arrived yesterday - managed to intercept before being posted through the letter box and got them in the recycling bin before the person distributing them could turn and leave, blooming litter louts. Art bit. I don’t know how much time I will have over the next few days so just some doodling to be getting on with. Hope your day is hip and cool, I best make some koffy and pack a bag.
Thank you @Krystyna23040The animals are so lucky to have you to look after them @gennepher
England's performance abysmal,Morning all from what is either another gorgeous warm, sunny day or testing and tiring time for much of UK Plc. Some will like it, some won't. School sports day time - do teachers bet on that?Very strange times as we all know the substantive outcome of G.E 24 but are tediously going through the formalities. Meanwhile one heals slowly, watches sport whilst smiling and waving at "them out there" @Annb hug for the cold but good it isn't COVID. @dunelm thank you for sharing the art and behave yourself all unsupervised. @gennepher thank you for sharing the wonderful creative. I'm thinking of you in that hot bungalow. @Krystyna23040 don't drive those poor souls too hard today @Lamont D I hope the test drive of the new shower is a succe ess and pleasure. @lindisfel thoughts and prayers with you - did Marjorie watch the football last night? Now it is time for some Jarslberg and more tea here. I hope y'all find some marginal gains of your own today. Have a song and insert your own terroir.
Lots of Covid in North Cumbria it's rife in the Cumberland infirmary.6.2 at 04.20. Up a bit now - that's after breakfast of RyVita and salmon paste (H/m). I didn't take any insulin yesterday - forgot all my pills in fact - other than the early morning pain killers but I did take insulin before the RyVita. Obviously overdid it yesterday again - sitting most of the day, but still straining muscles. Very sore today but this morning I have taken my pills and a 2nd lot of painkillers. Legs to be bandaged today. I think I shall wear a mask even though what I have isn't Covid - don't want to spread cold viruses either.
Not even Prof Brian Cox who co wrote it.no one remotely believes D:Ream is an appropriate soundtrack.
Thank you very much @ianpspursGood morning all from a bright and breezy L.A. where it is mild and far less humid than last evening. Despite the humidity, fitbit scored my sleep highly and my body seems to concur. "Slight" issue with plumbing here because our life is far too dull just now but B Gas/Dyno will be here soon. Meanwhile, the pointless G.E campaign drags on and no one remotely believes D:Ream is an appropriate soundtrack. Ennui abounds is more apposite. Even the Snitty Guy is attacking Truss now - Blue on Blue isn't as funny as one hoped. Elsewhere, the football really has been boring perhaps because the format has made the third round matches all about what we have we hold. @dunelm have a wonderful, stress free journey on Thomas and thanks for sharing the art. @gennepher thank you for sharing another amazing creative but hugs for the effects of this weather on your breathing. @lindisfel wonderful to hear from you and good on Marjorie for gathering the supplies. @Lamont D thanks for the lovely photos which are a credit to your skill and patience during testing times. Good man. @Annb I hope leg bandaging goes smoothly. My day will definitely contain a surprise for JKP and very likely a disappointment from England's cricket team. Enjoy your Thursday as much as possible.
