What was your fasting blood glucose? (full on chat)

I like the simplicity of this tree with no more added @dunelm but you will do what you will do, and we could see further work on it tomorrow...

Good Morening all.

Blood sugars this morning were 6.2 or 6.3 I don’t remember now and what’s more don’t care.
Here in Tilehurst Towers things are continuing at pace, Mrs J is slowly recovering, but her ability to issue demands and instructions has increased exponentially such that when Mrs J instructed me to make her early morning tea, yes I am being polite using the word instructed, demand is more appropriate I was so flummoxed I found I had put the tea bag in the kettle…….

Now I wish you all a media and hype free day.
Yes dear I’m on my way…….must go

Morning all from L.A. which seems to be utterly untethered to anything remotely resembling seasonality. This morning it is dry and there is a temperature which is best described as nondescript. Moving right along, yesterday was the poster child for how best I might be the nicest, kindest .little boy I can just now. I read what has long been a difficult pericope (newish word to me and I do like words) and found an exegesis which put so many things in context. We had a family day with indoor barbeque (well, air fryer) - 2 sons and partners, grandchildren. JKP and 2 grandchildren walked the dogs in the woods, lots of sport to watch. Air fryer doughnuts are apparently now "a thing." #2 son's partner was ferrying mouthfuls of various flavours for #1 and #2 son to try whilst watching the football - quite bizarre. The whole day was contextualised by the earlier - sliding doors? - experience. Thanks be to God and Ian Paul. @gennepher I hope the rain stops and you have inspiration regarding the placement of those trees. Thank you for the truly stunning kaleidoscope. Two years ago no one could imagine me enjoying anything similar. @dunelm yesterday sounds a similarly perfick day for you - I'm pleased for you. I'd be lying if I said I don't keenly feel hurt that I can't walk 5 miles now but the bible makes clear we all experience corruption in one way or another - for now. Thank you for sharing the art and "keeping me honest." @JohnEGreen thoughts and prayers with your family. @lindisfel I hope Marjorie enjoyed the football and is looking forward to Wednesday. @Krystyna23040 - don't forget the coffee. You've all had enough of me now. God bless and protect you because, spoiler alert, Elsie Keto won't win the ultimate penalty shoot out.

Thank you all for your kind and thoughtful words.
Judith’s sister Jennifer is coming to terms with the diagnosis and she is a fighter having a few years ago survived oesophageal cancer, we are not sure of the prognosis of this diagnosis.
I have an appointment at the hospital for a rerun of the procedure that fell through last Monday now have complied with all instructions so should be no problems.

Thank you @ianpspurs. Pericope - thank you for the new word which I thought at first was a derivative of kellykope - what our youngest looked out to sea with early in life. A small house is a palace for a homeless person, 10 steps an Olympic gold for the crippled. The steps that we all manage today are to be cherished - but you know that.

Thanks @dunelm . FYI blueberry cinnamon air fryer doughnut won a landslide majority. I tried one bite and saw the attraction. Pericope

Thank you Ian

I have a few more ideas for kaleidoscopes...

Time passes quickly from last Sunday @JohnEGreen
I hope all goes well today xx

03.30 today BG was 6.7. Not bad but by 04.15 it was up to 8.1. I really have to think about that first cup of tea - it always shoves BG up a bit much. Had breakfast and insulin to bring it down a bit but it is now just below 4. Misjudged again. Just had a fruit pastille to bring it up a little bit.

Bright and sunny here at the moment but windy and chilly. It's OK, I'm not going out today.

Last evening, for some obscure reason, I decided to sort out the various pen/pencil jars we have around the place and sharpen the pencils. I now have a large jar (pot plant holder actually) of mixed pens - gel, fineliners, felt tips, highlighters and so on and a metal mug holding about 20 very sharp pencils. That's not counting the black pens for drawing (about 25 of them) or the very soft drawing pencils (only about 5 of them), or the fountain pens - another 10 of those. My problem is, every time I can't find a pen, I break another one out of the pack, or buy another one and use it once before losing it again. Wonder if the charity shop wants pencils.

5.9, yay! This satisfactory Sunday.

It's rained again. Snowdonia has not prevented it again @gennepher. Not what the forecast/weather experts, said it will!
I laugh at them!
And it's not warm.
I am of the opinion, not like me to speak my mind ! (Laughing) but is this the worst summer ever so far?
The average temperature, should be over 20degrees. Nowhere near!

#7 & #8 came around yesterday late afternoon to not watch the footie. And I had the privilege to have a brief semi-watch, or should that be a quarter-watch? Whatever.
The important news from #7, is that she performed her task of a century of cartwheels, so that the family could sponsor her. And provide funds for the gymnastics club.

Just had a phone call, the daughter has sprained her ankle, just walking her dog. Oh ***.

Gotta go, things to do. Today is flying!
Have your best day, if possible.
My best wishes.

It is blinking freezing here @Lamont D

Blueberry cinnamon - must be one of those superfood symbiotic combos - I expect you can concoct a low carb one from something out of the cupboard of mysterious ingredients.

Around 3pm, the clouds went, the wind died a lot, the sun came out.
It is around 18 degrees and sunny, and I found it prudent to have a sit for a while in my garden.
It would be wrong not to.
You're lucky...12.9 here when the sun came out @Lamont D
I thought it was prudent to stay under my blankets in bed...
