A good plan but do check your fluid intake, water is better inside you than inside a water bottle. Dry chicken can play havoc with bowel walls I seem to remember.Bit of a saga with bg 2.9 at 3:30 AM then back up to 4.8 an hour later the 3.8 and now 4.4 just been one of those nights.
Have started the day with abdominal pain and diarrhoea hope it’s not going to be one of those days lucky that I had some Imodium to take so things easing up now.
Over a sometime I have been getting this at random times just put it down to the randomness of life but then when they removed the polyp the other week they discovered diverticoli I am wondering if it has been mild diverticulitis all along so will up my fibre intake a bit and see if that helps.
Thank you @ianpspurs@gennepher and @dunelm thank you both for sharing your creative talents. @JohnEGreen hug for the issues with your transit system. @lindisfel thoughts and prayers with you as always. Perhaps my signature may be of use in working through God's way forward for you and Marjorie. I seem to have been blessed with the time to share with my boys and get my "ducks in a row" for JKP many aren't so blessed. You also have some time and a similarly loving family. God bless you both now and always.
Kuratake - very nice, I have one of their refillable ink brushes, the thickness of which feels so comfortable for my fingers.Yes, the drive for food is strong for the badgers @dunelm
Just having a bit of fun with the inblots for a few days.
I have ordered some new Kuratake paints and pens for me for me. No, I don't need any more...but these I have ordered are a special late birthday treat for myself...who else is going to treat me!!!!
Is the thought to restrict the payments to those who actually need it?That will put a dampener on Christmas present buying for grandchildren among a certain demographic

For any metric there will be dissenters. I am waiting without holding my breath to see what this shiny new government will do about the 1 penny knife edge over the line income for completely stopping care allowances which is pretty ridiculous. I find it bizarre that my war pension payments fluctuate depending upon inflation and yet …. What an inequitable mess.Need is an interesting word. What metric will be used?
Better off pensioners have been cosseted for their reliably Tory votes at the expense of the young and vulnerable. Of course this lot will make mistakes but I'm inclined to see things through the prism of the NABATs (Nothing's as bad as Trump) - swap Trump for (Populist) Tories. Have a think about Britain under Kemi or who comes next and further down the insular Populist road and one easily sees these as the good old days. For any metric there will be dissenters. Wonder if he's either been peeping at @Krystyna23040 new fitness video or prepping himself for some floor work in Paris.....mmmhh.Nighttime wildlife video
Badger (is he missing the cats?)....and then chewing (?) up my mats...
This is Pa Badger, from last year, who is doing the extreme stretching in the beginning of the video.
He always tended to do this kind of stretch...but this is the most extreme I have seen him doing it...

Good morning everyone from an all things bright and beautiful start to the day here in the dark and dangerous north. 5.8 this a.m. All ready for the arrival of the Birmingham three this morning - what fun! There is a food fair on in town today - lots of closed roads. Not sure if we will go. Last year there were long queues. I think there may be some wafting through or around in order and a visit to a hopefully not too busy beach. We can take a picnic - the grandchildren are not that interested in fish and chips - or chips of any description really and much prefer fruit, sliced veg and probably an ice cream. Art bit - succumbed to adding a bit more. Hope your day is a good one. To paraphrase Musonius Rufus, when we are ill, we must take a great deal of care to bring ourselves back to health. I shall make koffy and sit in the garden.
I don't even know what that badger is doing with that stretch, but he nearly fell over backwards @jjraakWonder if he's either been peeping at @Krystyna23040 new fitness video or prepping himself for some floor
I did try googling nhs leg checker for you, but each time I get nhs wales leg checker , no good fo you, you need England.03:30 bg 4.4 O2 85% awful pain in left leg not sure what to do.
Bit low on the O2. Is this related to other issues? - look up pursed lip breathing and deep belly breathing. Can you stand walking on that painful leg? If so, walking in the open air to get the pumps going and some pursed lip breathing outside may be of some help. I have some mild emphysema as well as asthma and the pursed lip breathing is easy to do - breath out through pursed lips and then in through your nose with mouth closed.03:30 bg 4.4 O2 85% awful pain in left leg not sure what to do.
Actually, that is a good point. I have felt a bit uncomfortable about getting the winter fuel allowance as I would have preferred for people who really do need it to get a bigger amount that would really help them - rather than someone like me who has a pension, and also has an income from running my classes, getting it just because of my age.Is the thought to restrict the payments to those who actually need it?
Yes, those are the people who really need it. Anyone who is still paying tax (like me) should never have got it.Need is an interesting word. What metric will be used?
Yes, I totally agree with you @ianpspurs .Better off pensioners have been cosseted for their reliably Tory votes at the expense of the young and vulnerable. Definitely good advice from @gennepher03:30 bg 4.4 O2 85% awful pain in left leg not sure what to do.
