Happy anniversary @dunelm and congratulations on finding a foolproof way to remember the date!Good morning everyone on a splendid sunny yet cooler start to the day here in the dark and dangerous north. 5.4 this a.m. Indications were that it reached 32 degrees of scorchio here at 4pm - blagh! I think that was a bit exaggerated as my ankles were silent. Aurora visible again last night (picky below - not mine). Out today, down the coast a bit to a place called Runswick Bay - it will be quieter than Whitby. Smashing scenery and there is a nice pub for a light lunch. Dinner reservations for tonight. I know it’s our anniversary as I have a warning alarm that goes off on my phone 5 days prior. Art bit - I only want to see you laughing in the purple rain. May your day be a good one, as good as you can make it. I best make some koffy and sit in the garden for a bit.
I look forward to your wildlife videos @gennepher and these creative finger paintings really stir the imagination. Thank you for sharing.Fbg 6.6
Breezy out there.
The trees in my garden waving wildly...
Midnight sitting on the swing still refusing to come indoors...
Wildlife nighttime video
Badger & Cats...are wandering through within seconds of each other...
55 secs
Creative...black ink finger painting, and drawing with Japanese pens and brushes ...
Time for a cuppa, maybe coffee this time...for a change...
Have your best kind of day...

Happy Birthday @Annb, never mind those dreamed arguments with know-knowledge-Katy the DN - better to dream of dwelling in marble halls although Lewis Carol had a better idea:8.4 at 03.30. Pills and a cup of tea later it was 8.8. Too high these days. Dreamed of having an argument with the DN. She wouldn't listen to my claim that my BG was high because I had eaten carbs. What a waste of my too few hours of sleep.
At this moment, 79 years ago, I was not yet in this world. By 5 pm I was! Poor world. My Dad used to say that the Japanese heard that I was in the world, they just gave up fighting, throwing their hands up in horror, no doubt. Nothing to do with the bombing of Nagasaki and Hiroshima 8 days before, of course.
Thank you @JohnEGreen@dunelm a belated congratulations to the two of you.
I'm glad yesterday was pleasant if somewhat strenuous. Moules for lunch is always good. Thank you for sharing the art and photograph. Mrs Miggins seems to have absolutely nailed the relationship dynamic. Meanwhile here in Suffolk I have to profoundly disagree Liz - just own it already.Good morning everyone on a deliciously quiet start to the day here in the dark and dangerous north. Thank you for your anniversary wishes yesterday. We had a pleasant day although the climb back up to the car park out of Runswick Bay is like the final push up Kilimanjaro (see picture). And to say that we were supposed to be on a jolly, 6 miles of mainly vertical climbing left me a bit puffed. Still, a very pleasant day out and moules for lunch. Mrs Miggins tells me that we have a strange and wonderful relationship; I’m strange and she’s wonderful! Art bit - not much time yesterday but here is a little ink sketch on a piece of Rizla+ cigarette paper - named by fusing the French word for rice (riz) with the name of the brand creator (Lacroix). Expectations of another smashing day today despite some complaints from back and knees - hope you have similar less the complaints of course. Best make koffy and take some pills.
Thank you @ianpspurs and who would have thought that Liz could brighten up even a micro nano pico second!I'm glad yesterday was pleasant if somewhat strenuous. Moules for lunch is always good.
