What was your fasting blood glucose? (full on chat)

Good choice Mrs L. I thought the show was dogs whatsit but tastes vary.

Am I in a minority of one who would prefer the smell of a Poonami to that of a motorsickle? (yes I know but I'm here in L.A. and even the word is a step too far for me)
having a family of lots of little ones, many...
And being in the car factory.
I would say neither!

I prefer a more flowery, meat, fresh air nose.
And for some reason freshly cut grass is pleasing.

so @ianpspurs, yes, I do believe you are on your own.

Yes you got that right @jjraak .... and it wasn't fit for purpose...

Didn't say I would chose either fragrance but of the two the Poonami is far more preferable. Meat you say? If that is smoked bacon then Poonami wins by a country mile again and it is a close thing with unsmoked. Freshly cut grass we can agree upon. Jury's out on most flowers.

You wouldn't say that in a nursery (both!) Ha!

The most pungent smell that I had in my footie days, when travelling, was at a small club down sarf!
Now most changies, obviously smell, dependent on heat and moisture, and sprays.
But this time one of our players after half time needed a relief break.
He got one, then got booked for going back on without permission.
I digress, the outcome was a disturbing disgusting pungent odour that could only described as on par with a sewage works I the hottest day of the year. It was putrid, those that were in the vicinity, vacated holding their breath and noses, Windows and doors opened, and finally, six freshening air sprays about six cans worth were used. It just about did enough.
What ever he had ate should have been condemned as he was from the players coach.
I doubt that the latrines in Timbuktu would have been worse.

He was obviously doing the smoked bacon and kippers diet. Popular for a while I believe but didn't last long for some reason that was unclear at the time. Now I know why. Thanks

Motorcycles don’t smell - unless of course you have a Milwaukee tractor (Hardly Davidson) or a nice old single cylinder thumper and need a squeeze of two stroke. Oh, and anything build before the Honda CB750 appeared and changed everything.

Yeah of course and no doubt you've a bridge to sell me or you are acting on behalf of a Nigerian Prince who is a distant relation and has sadly died intestate.

I didn't know you could back them up from the iPad to a flash drive...what I remember reading was that you couldn't back up anything from the iPad unless you used their expensive monthly cloud facility....
Thank you @JohnEGreen I have been reading up on them, selected a few, going to read again then order one or two...

I had a similar problem with Yahoo in the days before I had a computer/ipad, I used Internet cafés then... And when Yahoo locked me out of my account then, I was technologically clueless, and only had half an hour on the internet computer at a time which was not long enough to sort it, so had to get a new yahoo address. I lost a lot of important stuff then, photographs and stuff from when the kids did their gap years abroad...

Yahoo has now locked me out, said I have made too many unsuccessful tries. This blooming Capitcha thing with me proving I am not a bot drives me mad. I cannot do it to save my life. Yahoo gave me nearly 30 goes to ID all the squares with traffic lights, stairs, bicycles, motor bikes, buses, several times over. After about 10mins Yahoo told me I had failed...and locked me from my emails until tomorrow. But I wasn't having it. I went further into Yahoo, and there is a bot who helps you recover your emails. So I asked for help from that. It told me I had failed too many times. Do you really want to try again, it asked. Yes, I insisted. Right, typed the bot. I have sent you an email to your main yahoo address, open that and it will give you a pin number to proceed further...

Excuse me, but I wouldn't be here if I was able to open my yahoo email... you can't do that option asked the bot? No said I. Alright, we will try a new way to get your email back. The bot proceeded to send emails to my other Yahoo accounts asking me if I could open them. No, I said. That bot didn't even have the equivalent of one brain cell. Alright said the bot, I have your telephone number here. Would you like me to send you a code number to WhatsApp or as a text message? Said the bot.

I said a text message.

The phone started dancing with a text message coming through...I gave the code number to the bot. You're in, said the bot.

That easy?

I haven't logged into Yahoo with my other devices yet. I will do that tomorrow because I am tired now and I could make mistakes. And I still have my missing yahoo emails to find yet....

I am going to order a flash drive now, thanks John

As for the weather and Poppy's walk I'd say be like Mr Asquith, wait and see (favourite, ubiquitous saying of my maternal grandmother).
Unfortunately, it rained - so Poppy missed her walk but actually she was quite happy running around the hall chasing her ball until class members started arriving.

Class members made a big fuss of her - which she loved.

Good that you made some progress @gennepher. You must be absolutely exhausted with all that has gone on.

I am...

I have just tried to login to my Health online which is where I order my prescriptions. But like every other app that I had to re-download again on the iPad mini, it won't let me straight in and insists I prove I am me again. I have had to prove more security than ever before and I had to go to NHS England because it would not let me do it directly from NHS Wales (it can't do this apparently from NHS Wales)... so more security, extra passwords needed. More codes to my phone. Finally, they decide I am me, and I get sent back to NHS Wales's my health online, where I sign in again and finally I can order my prescription...

With the iPad mini crashing and me having to download all apps again, the iPad remembering all my log in details for every app, all crashed as well, they were not there any more. It is blooming good job, that I have all my password details etc on paper....

My brain is totally frazzled...

I am going to end up securityfied out of my accounts...we all are...
