Those moments sound wonderful @gennepher

Full of love & a shared enjoyment of each others company.
Such perfect moments in time.

How blessed we can be, by the joy, whatever divinity you believe or don't believe, can bring into our lives.

Hard not see it as a plan, bringing just the right people into our lives, at just the right time.

But while easy to see the love you both felt, I can also see such memories, as such memories must, carries a burden all of its own.

Mixed in with the joy & laughter is always going to be a heavy heart at the loss.

Thank god we took the time to make so many, many, wonderful memories to sustain us at such moments

As a grief Laden wave begins to threaten, a tsunami of light crashes down, drowning it out.
The noise reminding us of the thunderous laughter we shared as we laughed at life, through all it ups & downs.

And the quiet as that tsunami wave slowly retreats, reminding us of the peaceful bliss we had in each others company....an unimaginable treat, I imagine we think everyone 'gets' a share of.

Yet I suspect, could be rarer than the most precious metals, in many people's lives.

Moments to hold tightly & cherish forever.

Truly blessed
Truly blessed

<HEART>

Thank you so very much @jjraak for those beautiful, thoughtful words.
I appreciate them very much x

Fbg 6.7 this morning.
The temperature outside is 3 degrees but with blue skies.
@jjraak hope you enjoy your nifty new e-bike Melody is wishing she had got one rather than the pushbike she bought as she finds hols a bit difficult and her bike becomes literally a push bike. My grandson has one and I asked him yesterday if he was going out on it he looked at me as if I was mad saying if he did with the bad weather lately everywhere was muddy an he would get it dirty and he was not going to do that as he would end up having to clean it fair weather cyclist is what I said.

Morning all on the morning after the night when time stood still, heralding in a season which is for some truly SAD. There does seem to be no coincidence that all major religions have festivals of light and those of the two most tightly linked Abrahamic ones are now celebrated close together. Thank you to all who gave congratulations and good wishes for our anniversary, which is actually today. Attached is a cake I didn't get up specially to make; #3 son's Lithuanian partner has a friend, same nationality, who makes cakes. She made one for JKP's birthday in April. They are far less sweet than the UK ones. The inside looks wonderful, I'll post pictures later - after the duel on the common @Lamont D. DRS and VAR will both be there as this is a EuroDuel 2025 qualifier Interesting question which perplexed my grandchildren: what was your first dance Nanny and Granddad? AFAIR that wasn't a thing back in 1984 - anyone else remember differently? This wouldn't have been our choice but fits well with the day and @jjraak's beautiful and moving post#83,064 More celebrations here today and heartfelt wishes for you all to have your best Sunday.

5.1 this morning.
We both tested negative - at last.
We thought we would test negative as we have no symptoms now.

We are looking forward to going to Gooderstone Water Gardens as it is the last day the tea room is open until the spring and they have a Christmas craft fair on the lawn in front of the tea room.

@ianpspurs .

Congratulations on the anniversary.

Petula Clark...what a blast from the past.

My sister liked her and her music.

And as you say, rather fitting for such days of reflection.

As our very own mile markers come & go, with a lingering look in that rear view mirror of life, we know at some point it's back to heads up, as we continue our journey into the future.

Smashing castle

Smashing set of photos and well done on what looks to be a very comfortable purchase.

Glad you both test negative now @Krystyna23040
Enjoy the day today!

Cake looks lovely @ianpspurs

Good Morening Ladies and Gentlemen.

Blood sugars this morning were 5.1

Congratulations on the wedding anniversary and also to the recovery from covid posters.

Unfortunately I have a multitude of clocks to play around with, then later this morning cleaning the middle patio, while drinking koffy. What is that pop song from a few years ago? I think it was named clocks.

Stay safe, stay in bed till spring…..

Good morning everyone on a bright and sunny start to the first day of fuel conservation time - will it actually work for the first time this year since it came into being. Governments and crazy people are the only folk who keep on repeating things that don’t work in the feint hope that this time it will be different. Now is the winter of our disco tent and all that. Art bit - something simple for a lazy day. Hope your day is a sunny one but wrap up warm - it’s all a con. Best make koffy.
