What was your fasting blood glucose? (full on chat)

You obviously need to be able to get in and out of your property so something needs to be done. You being the intrepid, strong, independent lady you are will clearly do things your way and that has gotten you this far - there's a but coming . Be very careful, perhaps more than normal; we are none of us what we were in our heyday and sorting out that bedroom has used so many spoons. @JohnEGreen has shared a way forward and you have images from yesterday to help your case. Is there not a local neighbourhood watch group to which you can post images? Like so many here, I care about you.

Happy birthday to No 2 son from me as well. Tea is good for all sorts of reasons but my nurse told me I have to have decaf tea. I'm getting used to it. Can't cope with decaf coffee though. Odd because caffeine doesn't actually have any effect on my level of awakedness.

BG 7.5 at 05.00.

Do be careful Gennepher. There must be some source of help for you somewhere near at hand. Perhaps the council? You are strong minded and independent, but yours is not a young body any more than mine is. This may be a bit more than you can manage alone. Maybe you could get in touch with someone online who could organise a "rescue" for you.

@gennepher you are a lady with disabilities trapped in your home I suggest 999 would be justified.
Thank you for your suggestion. I cannot do a voice call for 999 but I do have a emergency text number for 999 which I have never tried to use yet but it is on my phone...
Thanks Ann. No, I am not young anymore, I was not able to move any of it. I might have ended up having to do JohnEGreen's suggestion...
Thank you Ian.
I have used up too many of my spoons doing the bedroom... I did not realise it would be that big a task.
Yes I could have posted those images on the neighborhood website, and asked for help. I didn't think of that at all. Someone would have come. You are right.

Thank you all for being so concerned all of you.

When I realised I was not able to shift it, I thought I saw a glimpse of passing dog walker or something. I yelled for help. They went and got some neighbours. Between them they've kindly cleared a pathway from my door to my gate. That was a heck of a relief for that to be done.

I am now winding down with a cup of tea...

Tomorrow I will go to the insurance company. I could email but they have an office on the High Street, and I will take my phone with the images on it so they can take the ones they need. They might ask for more detailed photos. They can deal with it all.

That is wonderful news that your neighbours cleared a pathway to your gate @gennepher

Good to know that you have kind neighbours

Well done for spotting those passers-by. So glad they found some help for you and that the immediate problem is solved. Now it's just a matter of the insurance people sorting out the aftermath for you.

That is good news. Wind down and let tomorrow take care of itself.

Good afternoon fellow posters and painters.

My blood sugars have been all over the scale just recently, this mornings were 7.0 and the other day 5.9 the day before 8.0

I’ve been away for the past couple of days without Mrs J, a nice break for her I think.

The staff at this establishment where I have been staying are very keen wearing uniforms in various shades of blue. The accommodation comfortable, with the staff being very attentive to my every need, including a steady supply of tea, koffy and drugs, whether I wanted them or not.
Unfortunately the catering left a little, sorry a lot, to be desired all meals had to be eaten either in your bed or at your bedside, no such thing as booking a table for 3 or 4. The menu is very restricted, portion size is very cordon blue and quality leaves a massive room for improvement. Car parking facilities are almost non existent.
The staff at this establishment are very keen on blood letting, and I must say very skill full.

If you fancy a stay at this establishment it trades under the name The Royal Berkshire Hospital and is located in Reading Berkshire. It is in the phone book and has lots of stars, depending on what you walk into.
So keen am I on this establishment I have another booking for tomorrow.

Stay safe all, stay away from me…….

Amongst many other meds, I can't take them. Have to have sugar free anti biotics, if they do work.

when a cousin of mine, notified the clan, that he had traced our lineage from my dad's side, about 300 years. My great, whatever, great grandfather, his occupation was a groundskeeper, in Anglesey, near Bolton on an estate there. Never had grouse, or pheasant, or some other game(y) feathered friends.
And yes, we all need to spend. Wisely but more often.
but we should be stopping the amount of money, from disappearing from the economy. And close more tax loopholes.

There is near us, a place called Guinea Gap, on the river. By my old school. The hill is very steep down to the pomenade. The bike ride down was very exciting unless you got the last big wrong. I have seen one big end up in the river and another crash. It is no obviously used for skates, skateboarding, and other silly things.
There was always cardboard though riding close by on the grass outside by the baths next door.
Sudden sheer drops are my Achilles heel. If there is a fence etc I'm fine, If not I freeze.

Keep tapping your feet.

How whatever you had done was successful. My couple of stays in these establishments. Opened my eyes, to why the NHS is struggling. To many chiefs, not enough indians colloquially.

@gennepher so glad you got sorted.

@ianpspurs happy birthday to son #2

A decent 6.4 this am.
It has now decided to be very Baltic with a wind direction straight from Santa land.
No rain, but so chilly.went for a little walk but the fresh air made me cough and my runny nose was streaming
Do feel a little better but my tongue has a mind of it's own.
No damage, except to my star trek clock, I changed the battery, and the back door was opened, and the gust blew it off the wall, some super glue later, and unless you looked closely, no harm done.
It is me, isn't it?
If it's not one thing it's another!
Had to rearrange some of my outside lighting and foliage all over the grass, it can wait it's turn.
Curry for tea, oh, I mean evening meal.

Just go.
Enjoy your evening, it's manic Monday tomorrow!
Best wishes.
