For some reason @ianpspurs , you often seem to see coffins with this particular kaleidoscope App..... I like the architectural sculpture of the coffin shapes, some coffins with this app look like Art Deco to me but I might be delusional... it is a mirror by the way and these are the reflections in it.... and I am facing it...and no, I do not have any coffins in my front room.... so I wonder where I am...Morning all from L.A. where there is bright sunshine but a biting chill. I had my first shingles jab earlier so most of the day's excitement is done but we still have a grocery delivery to come. What japes chums. @dunelm I hope you solve the bed issue and thank you for sharing the artwork which, probably due to the mention of organising funerals, made Pork Chop Hill march into my sad old mind. @gennepher thank you for sharing the video and kaleidoscope, coffin shapes-n-all.. @Krystyna23040 the sunrise sounds delightful and a day reading and drinking coffee sounds relaxing. Oh no, I've said too much, I haven't said enough. I'm scanning the sports news to see if Ange has been sacked yet. Enjoy your Monday,
Mmhh.... now I am going to be terrified when I walk into that front room....
Can't get em in with all the wire ?........and no, I do not have any coffins in my front room....
Thank you @gennepherI like this Art bit one @dunelm
The house at the bottom of the hill protected by the mountain behind it..
Plenty more coffee is needed...
Wonderful result with the Ancestry website getting you and your cousins back together.I started all this family history stuff about 25 years ago trying to find my cousin, with whom we had lost contact. Today I got a message from her son on the Ancestry website with his mother's telephone number. So I phoned and, at last, I'm back in contact with her! Wonderful. I couldn't be happier.
8.7 at 0350 this morning. Jumped to 10.9 on the strength of a cup of tea, but calmed down a bit when I took some insulin and had some breakfast. A jolly time was had by all this afternoon, especially the children but it was very tiring. Nothing I could risk eating there, so just had the anticipated cup of tea. Just as well I had a breakfast. Time to think about a meal of some kind this evening and another cup of tea. No, a cup of coffee. A celebratory one.
W-O-WSome nice person was on the beach this morning and took a snap of the deep red sky
That would be about right..... You have no idea....Can't get em in with all the wire ?...

Good morning @JohnEGreen - looks like your fbg says 42.3 - am I going bananas? Hope you are doing OK.Fbg this morning [emoji6]..
Hi @JohnEGreenFbg this morning [emoji6]..
Good morning @dunelmGood morning everyone from yet another light and sound start to the day here in the dark and dangerous north. The garden was bathed in a red glow at 0730 as the sun's rays pass through a thick atmosphere, scattering shorter wavelengths of light like blue and purple accompanied by the Ghost of Phil Spector and his wall of sound whistling round the chimney pots and the imperceptible sounds of Be My Baby. Last day of the year and I ought to take gas and electricity readings and send off to the supplier. I will. I shall. Lunch out I think. Will Jools Holland have interesting guests on? And then, another turn round the sun. Art bit - why, a bridge! All the very best for 2025 although I don’t actually know what. Perhaps all the very best care for yourself and your families. This excellent Monsoon Malabar that I received as a Christmas gift is rather nice. Have a wonderful day if you decide to.
