What was your fasting blood glucose? (full on chat)

St. Yates refers to an amazing day for my footie club.
We went to Goodison park. And won in the facup.
A certain Steve Yates, scored a brace. And a certain Welsh international scored the other.
A memorable day. And it always puts a smile on my face.

Have a peaceful night.

Creative is a kaleidoscope of one of my kitchen surfaces. I was waiting for my eggs to boil...

My HRV reading this morning was a little higher which is good. All I have done on the list of suggestions to improve it was do some meditation and breathing exercises when I went to bed. And the other thing was to keep my sound processor on when I went to bed (I normally take this off because it falls off in the night and I can never find it in the morning), and I used a couple of hair grips to keep it in place, and I played some meditation music. I fell asleep with it on and when I needed the bathroom a couple of hours later, I disconnected it all. Both things were simple and easy to do and didn't take up any extra of my time.

The app told me this morning, my body was very slightly out of balance, and to pace myself carefully.
When I got out of bed, I noticed a difference from yesterday how I walked when I immediately got out of bed. I had a better sense of walking balance this morning. Yesterday my walking balance was not good, and the app told me my body was very much out of balance. This morning the app just tells me my body is slightly out of balance.

There appears to be at least some correlation between the app telling me how much my body is out of balance, and what my actual walking balance is when I get out of bed.

Yesterday the app was right, I did have to pace myself. All my energy/spoons was used up doing the food shop,
Normally when I got home, I would push myself to get through the rest of the day, but then I will crash about 6 pm and not be able to do anything in the evening nor be able to sleep properly. So I ended up doing a lot of sleeping yesterday because I was no nouse nor ornament for doing most things. Consequently, I did not crash at 6 pm and I was able to do a few nightly chores wash the posts etc. So far this app appears to be of some help to me.

I won't bore you anymore with this. But it seems worthwhile continuing with this app at the moment. I am trying to be the best possible I can be before the cataract operation.

Have the best day you possibly can.
Take care...

Fbg this morning 3.4 a small bowl of porridge has put that right.
Was having palpitations for most of the day yesterday ecg on watch was detecting AF for most of the day but seems ok now.
Very pleased with the scooter running better than it was and the lights now work properly.
@gennepher was the app you mentioned Visible and if so have you splashed out on the bracelet as I just use the app and have been wondering if the bracelet is worth getting. The kaleidoscope looks good bye the way like it.

Wonderful colours on today’s kaleidoscope. Eggs - mmmh!

Hi @JohnEGreen
Yes the app I mentioned is Visible.
I am just using the free version at the moment, which is the fingerprint on the camera in a morning.
I have not ordered the bracelet... yet.
I'm just looking at the cost.
£14.99 monthly
£75 armband ...one off payment
According to the page I am looking at it will be £89.99, payable when the armband is shipped out to you.
Battery life is typically 5 days, but it did not tell me what battery it was so that is another added cost. I couldn't see if you paid any extra for postage and packing not without going further into buying it..

So I have no idea currently whether the band is worth getting. I am still thinking about it, however. Because I am a person who typically pushes herself to finish something or finish a job when I should stop... and I do then pay for it afterwards....

Thanks for the kaleidoscope compliment.
I am very glad your scooter is now running properly... and safely with lights!

Good morning everyone from a splendidly quiet start here in the dark and dangerous north. Birds are well chuffed now as the bird feeders have been replenished. I told them that there were Brexit related paperwork hold ups with seeds coming in at Port of Dover - hear the clattering of a bunch of Jackdaws! After school, we had a terrible lava flow in the house, the only protection seemed to come from a special pair of pink fluffy slippers. Phew! All was well by the time The Girl In The Bubbles dad arrived to take her home. Soup last night, using up bits of leftover chicken and a few mushrooms - Korean style with gochujang paste, ginger, garlic and lime juice. We are running out of sourdough in the freezer. Monthly market begins this Saturday. I hope it has been warm enough at the bakery atop the cliffs for her bread to rise - it has been problematic recently. Today - I don’t trust crystal balls. Art bit - trees of course! Have a splendid day if you decide to. I shall make koffy and do a bit of reading.

Brilliant @dunelm I love the art bit....

6.5 this morning. Time is flying by.

Lovely long phone call from daughter.
Then keeping Bonnie distracted while Mr K tries a new modification to the gate half way down the hall - which I involved adding a wood barrier to it because she can shimmy under it.

Must now do some admin.

Covfefe all on a start to Tuesday which here at least defies one to see God's glory in the outside world however hard one looks. Indoors is entirely different. The key question of the day is did the three bears have syrup in their porridge as well Granddad? Playing Eddie Reader works a charm to restore the smile to a 3 year old's face after a Nasty "sermon.". Grandson has chicken pox so, as pre-school is out, he slept over in order to save JKP crossing The (Real) Fens at stupid O'clock. The scowl and nasty sermon? Nanny seems intent on winding him up by mentioning not to itch - the face on him is then a classic. Where have we seen that reaction before Eddie Reader? (behave yourself, not the True version of Hail to the Chief) we had Goldilocks (the perfect version) before sleep time. @dunelm thank you for sharing the art, doubtless technically splendid once again. @gennepher good news on the app appearing to do the job and thank you for sharing the kaleidoscope. @JohnEGreen I gave a winner for the AF settling down today and the scooter now being fit for purpose. @Krystyna23040 you deserve a winner just for putting shimmy out there. John and Genn, I googled Visible - since I'm beyond repair seems like its not for me. That's The Weave for today, now make Tuesday great again MTGA hats on - people are saying its the best Tuesday ever.

That's really interesting @Lamont D

Thanks @ianpspurs

Oh well, if you are beyond repair, then that will save you a bunch of money each month. Just think how much you will save...

I'm afraid it didn't make me laugh. Too close to the truth to be funny. Maybe I just don't have a sense of humour.

Much of the humour derives from the notion that any POTUS, especially this one, gives as much as a femtosecond's thought to what Britain thinks. The humour derives from just how needy we must seem are.

Good Afternoon Ladies and Gentlemen.

Blood sugars this blood test morning were 6.1

Here in Tilehurst Towers it’s a light rain day and I’m wondering if it would be worth washing the car while naked, that way the car gets a wash and I have a shower. 2 clean ups for nothing.

Yep, you have guessed it Mrs J has left me unsupervised again.

7 again!

it is footie night in our house. (In the middle of our street).
and will be probably madness depending on performance and result.

Another not so good night.

I'm of the opinion Mrs L is playing with my tolerance levels.
And of course, in a battle with the weaker sex, the lady always wins. Hmmpph!
And as always, takes no need of her beloved of nearly fifty years.
And as always, Mrs L gets her own way.
And stumbles around.
And, I believe that with #8 watching Mr. Tumble, Mrs L has been practising.

Tuesday is a nothing day. Ruby was right. Are they worse than Monday? Worse than an old fashioned sunday?
Or in a week of storms and more rain and no garden time, are my hands, sore and crippled as they are becoming, idle?

Best wishes.

Bonnie does do the perfect shimmy @ianpspurs
