Thank you @ianpspursAs said, a curate's egg of a start to Tuesday for you. Happy birthday to your daughter and enjoy the meal out, perhaps even relax a little over carbs and sauces (1) . (Strange echo of JKP and sons to me as I typed that, most bizarre). You lost me with those references but I assume I do the same for most here with sporting ones. Love TGIB's shot at how old mum is. I hope the new boots last you for many years to come. Respect for the mileage in such circumstances and thanks for sharing the art.

It is the Hospital that have changed the appointment. They have cancelled the afternoon appointment on Thursday the 13th.Oh no not another struggle with the hotel I hope hugs for the tress this must be causing the odd swear word is allowed.

I have just had a new appointment for 9 am in the morning on the same Thursday, the 13th of February.
Son is an unable to change his train times now, so he won't be able to help me now in the morning. Getting a taxi at that time of the day, it's gonna prove nearly impossible because they'll all be taking up taking people to work.
I have run out of naughty words to say....
I have no idea how to book a taxi...Oh how troublesome I find with local taxi firms if I book a taxi a day or so in advance that a taxi is easier to get.
This new email says that the doctor, the Chinese Doctor who was due to do the operation in the afternoon refused because I was deaf, and wanted the specialist lead team to do me, not her.....It is the Hospital that have changed the appointment. Not what you needed to hear.I have no idea how to book a taxi...
I will have to ask the hotel to see if they can book one for me when I get there...
Downloading it now..thanks @jjraakNot what you needed to hear.
How distressing all this has become.
While you won't often need it, I've found the Uber app to be very effective .
And I think it would suit your needs it's all point & click online, perfect for when you do need a taxi.

Why isn't there an emoji for frustrated and reaching boiling point? The fact that you are deaf is no good reason for all the chopping and changing around. This is prejudicial to your health and there should be some redress both for you and for everyone else they treat so appallingly. This new email says that the doctor, the Chinese Doctor who was due to do the operation in the afternoon refused because I was deaf, and wanted the specialist lead team to do me, not her.....

@JohnEGreen I'll have to research one from Liverpool...or Aintree...I will look.... Thank you....@gennepher
Our local taxi firm has its own app and you can book through the app no verbal communication required maybe if you do a search on line you can find similar.
That would get my vote .Do I think the silver cloud in all this is that I'm getting a competent person instead of an incompetent person operating on my eye
I rated agree but then neither of us have all the problems Gennepher has. Hope a solution can be found @gennepher because the operation is clearly important. That would get my vote .
Can’t see why being deaf would be an issue - very odd. This new email says that the doctor, the Chinese Doctor who was due to do the operation in the afternoon refused because I was deaf, and wanted the specialist lead team to do me, not her.....
Maybe she can't speak English very well and so she's worried about dealing with someone who's deaf. I haven't got a blooming clue at this point, And I have had to take some extra medicines because I was starting with the visual migraine attack and if I have that tomorrow there's no way I'll be going in anyways...Can’t see why being deaf would be an issue - very odd.
