What was your fasting blood glucose? (full on chat)

I would be happy @Fndwheelie if you continued to do your beading updates on here.
The title of this thread is What is your fasting blood glucose?(full on chat) which includes tags of #daily chat #daily discussion , so you are not derailing this thread.

We wanted to chat about other stuff than just fasting blood glucose which is why @HarrisonK created this thread. So many thanks to him.

You continue to post your beading updates on here. Daily if you like.

We want to see your beading projects here on this thread!

Great fbg and nothing silly about wariness when changing cars - what's phobic about wanting yourself and others to be safe?

Good Morening Ladies and Gentlemen. You can relax for the next few days I shall be having a monumental sulk and orf line till Wednesday, For a large financial donation I could cease posting....

Today's reading was a well behaved 6.2 but I did put my hammer next to the meter as a sort of threat.

Well the gas men have disappeared leaving barriers round the hole they have dug and filled in my front garden also on the footpath outside. Mrs J's freezer is now defrosted and restocked with all sorts of frozen protein. The kango hammer has been given to the neighbour who's 60th birthday Mrs J ruined, so abnormality has returned.
Have a great few days.

Actually I love reading about your beading on this thread. I don't think it is derailling the thread as it is in the general chat section - and we do a lot of general chatting here which is actually really nice to read.

5.8 today

I'm even more behind with my favourite thread than ever! My Twitter has been manic since Wednesday's appearance on This Morning! I'm just about keeping up. Anyway I think it will start calming down now.

Today is breakfast out with hubby day. His first Saturday off since he was 12 (apart from annual leave and occasional weddings). So a very special day. He is a little giddy! It wont last as I will be thrusting a paintbrush in his hand soon after I'm a hard task master Haha.

Whilst looking into the new keto craze of chaffles (egg and cheese waffles) I came across this amazing cookery book for £5.50 delivered! Bargain. It not only looks good but has fab recipes in. I'm going to work my way through when I find the kitchen!!!

Have a great weekend.

I'm missing everyone but hoping to catch up tonight over a naked kebab (the meat not me!!!). And a nice glass of red wine. It's been a hell of a week!! In a very good way.

Morning All. 6.2 this morning after a very nice fish dinner but derailed by peanuts. I need to stop buying them.
Some great FBGs today @geeful @Krystyna23040 @karen8967 @Fndwheelie.
Please continue to post the beading, daily if you wish, here. I commit to two watched threads only and love the banter on here. Bet your Nan loved her bracelet!
@jjraak I loved that track from 10cc also..funny how a song takes you back to memories not visited for a while. @gennepher another great photo..we get frogs in our garden and always a worry when the lawnmower comes out. @ianpspurs good luck with the latest test and keep the faith. @Muddy Cyclist have a great time singing on the hill...Mr d’Arcy shirt mm rain could help a lot! Last but not least @SaskiaKC sounds like a nice day out even if didnt result in a mattress! At least you know what you like for when the time is right.
Have a great Saturday everyone. We are off to a daytime 50 anniversary party of OHs golf buddy. Stay well, stay safe. @Krystyna23040 all the best with new car. OH got a new car recently I am still too scared to drive it but will have to get over myself.

good morning all

4.2 today

just in the kitchen cooking a piece of pork ready for dinner tomorrow with mum, a big batch of meaty sausages and having a try at flax seed crackers whilst I've got the oven on

it's not looking too dire outside so I hope to get a walk later and maybe even lunch out

Hope your day ('muddy' or otherwise) treats you well

Morning...had a full on day yesterday which resulted in a whole eight hours sleep last night...feel as if I've been on holiday...grass now cut and many of the weeds between the paving slabs removed (sadly more to do)… did a lot of 'cutting in' on the painting too planning more of that today my spirit is willing but we shall see...a quick tidy up then I was exhausted...some rubbish TV then to bed at 11:30pm...haven't done that for so long...good luck to the 'mudders' & 'beaders' and weekenders off for some breakfast & of course more coffee...woke to a 6.2

Good morning all, 5.5 on the testing dice, off to Tesco's to get the shopping in (you volunteer once and it suddenly becomes a job for life) then clear the garden of fallen apples pears and plums, mow the lawns and may even unearth the scarifier from the depth of the bottom shed, my only worry being that if I open the door said shed may well fall down as it is looking a bit wonky.

Have a fabbo day all, lets hope for an indian summer this year, I'm missing that Californian sun already.

good luck with all those tests and procedures.
@Krystyna23040, thanks so much for the good wishes. Keratosis horn now removed. Last piece of snippy, snippy cut, cut done for now. Just waiting for results. Focus moves to why this diet fails me - and I stress me only- particularly limiting the collateral damage it does to me. - neither of the 2 problems needing the sawbones can be attributed to LC. Hugs or advice not needed. This is a niche problem and won't involve Diet Dr or Fung for sure. Not anti either of those they just don't work for me. Not yet at the stage of writing off LC.

I will YouTube that song -- it reminds me of Ian and Sylvia's "Four Strong Winds." As your description of your Cheshire venue reminded me of these lines: "purple mountain majesties above the fruited plain" of "America the Beautiful."

You are a good man, @jjraak. I'm glad you have cats to care for.

Croydon Cats Rock Out

I don't think you are derailing this thread. It is a General Full-On Chat Thread and I enjoy reading about your bead work, and seeing it in your photos, just as I enjoy reading others' posts. OTOH, a crafting sort of thread might be a good idea too, and bring together people who don't come to this thread. As @Muddy Cyclist says, why not do both?

Not at all. I hope the experience was a good one and that you will enjoy your new set of wheels as much as I always enjoyed mine. (BTW, what a hubby! Yay!)

I agree with @SaskiaKC and @Muddy Cyclist
It might be a great idea starting a crafting thread as well, for others too.

But post your bead photos on here first!!!
Please!!!!
Pretty please!!!

FBG 5.9 this morning. KittenCat fed, coffee drunk, new anti-anxiety pill swallowed. And so back to bed ...

@trick60 : a little advice from Detective Danny of "Blue Bloods" re: grocery shopping: Don't forget the coupons, and if they're out of the rain-scented detergent, you can always get the bacon-scented one.

I hope y'all can view this. I saw it on TV last night and it reminded me of all the great dads and granddads of this thread (and of my own great dad too).
