Hugs @Krystyna23040Am waiting for news from the hospital. Mr K went downhill today and is about to have emergency surgery on complications from surgery he had a few years ago.
All should go well, but I just cannot sleep. I cancelled classes when he rang me to say he was waiting for an ambulance. It was a shock and I still feel shaky.
Hugs for both you and Mr K. Was that the problem over the last while, or is it something new? At least he is hospital and getting it dealt with. Hoping to hear better news soon.Am waiting for news from the hospital. Mr K went downhill today and is about to have emergency surgery on complications from surgery he had a few years ago.

That sounds like the best option @Krystyna23040 , exercise instead of surgery...I am glad that is the way it has turned out...I am sure both of you can keep on top of this situation.Thank you @gennepher, @Annb and @ianpspurs. Just as he was about to go into surgery three doctors came out to tell him that they think the surgery could make him much worse and that exercise was the best option.
They sent him home at 1am with a bottle of morphine. I think he is a little better after a few hours sleep.
Actually, it is good that they realised in time that surgery could have made him worse.

That sounds more positive although morphine implies a fair degree of pain. Hopefully sleep and some (gentle) exercise supervised by a caring, knowledgeable expert could help. Are there any such people in the local area?Thank you @gennepher, @Annb and @ianpspurs. Hug for the sciatica but like and thank you for continuing to share your art plus tidying and sorting. A tea break and painting break both sound just the job.gennepher >^..^< 2025 All rights reserved

Watercolour paints...my Creative for today...
I was awake half the night with sciatica, so I slept in this morning a bit.... it is a lovely sunny day here...
I can't wait until I finish all this sorting and tidying... but there are another two rooms to do yet when I have finished my bedroom.... but I might have a painting break for a couple of days before I tackle the next room when I have finished my bedroom...
A cup of tea needed first before I start tidying and sorting my bedroom....
Take care
