The flooding is a pain Saskia but the rain has stopped so we’ve got a momentary reprieve thank goodness, and your photos cheered me up a lot!
 
I cant stop reading about it. I just need to know who, hope all involved are charged. And go down for a long time! Greedy ********. Those poor people were frozen. So much so they ended up taking their clothes off (apparently nerve endings when you are freezing give out signal you are over heating. I've read even more upsetting things than this! Those poor people. It's really upset me.
 
A very belated good afternoon to you all, have had a extremely busy weekend watching rugby on Saturday then grass cutting, weeding and all other odd jobs. Then Sunday was helping out at the Charity that I volunteer for, The Edward Foundation, fund raising event which is called Bulldogs Unleashed, what a day around 200 bulldogs all being brilliant, and my two being absolute stars. It was a good, but tiring day, and I got to meet a lot of people who read my posts about my dogs and their adventures (mostly made up!!) and we managed to raise over £6500, which will go a long way to help other Bulldogs in need. and to make the weekend even better I decided it was vitally important to have a cluster of hypo's just to make things even more eventful!! Hope everyone has had a good weekend, and a good week lies ahead for you all.

Hi All. So glad we are back hope all the gang returns. 5.5 yesterday 5.3 today though just gotback from the Metropolis where I had a bowl of soup in M&S and ate one of the mini bread rolls!
 
Haven't been on here for awhile my numbers are 5.5 last tuesday 6 the nxt day then 5.8 ....5.6 ... 5.7 then had a 2 day off the wagon which resulted in a 6.5 and a 6.3 better number this am with a 5.9 . Did have a hypo last wednesday really felt unwell dizzy and nearly fell over thought it was either my BP or BG and when I tested it was 3.4. Made to appreciate how difficult it must be for type 1's who have to deal with full on hypo's .

I saw that john and would have loved to come...but South Shields was just too far...I see 'Plumpy' now not as often as I did but it is good to have him around again...we're expecting two new kittens soon so he will be besides himself when they arrive always good to see you here & well done on the fund raising.
 
Good afternoon finally back up & running...amazing how much I missed this I've been making a right plonker of myself over on Twitter...I had to have my daily fix of posting...lazed about the house a lot over the last week finally feeling back to normal after my ten day blitz of work...yesterday woke to a 5.6...today woke to another 5.6 I'm making more effort & taking 'Plumpy' for a short walk every other day my dodgy knee won't allow more...been spending more on the kittens I now have the pyramid cave bed and a snuggly rabbit burrow (like a long furry sleeve with ears)...I must stop but it's addictive and great fun!
 

I've been seeing TV commercials for a new cat toy -- I think of you and Charlie and Lola every time I see it.

I think Plumpy will be in his element when the kittens arrive!! Oh imagine the "fun" as zoomies are unleashed upon the house! love a good Bully Zoomie, well except for the "hand grenade has just gone off look" when they've finished!! enjoy the shenanigans

You must not link me to it Saskia it's just too tempting...they already have a stringy mouse thingy...one of those round constructions with balls that whizz around kept in by a study rim...plus assorted cat nip mice.

I'm doing it gently in stages john...Harry loves a good sniff if he gives them one of his usual poor little things are likely to fall over...he is a big softie but not aware of his own strength as evident when he jumps into my lap &^%$£

Ahh yes the old Bully lap squash, nothing like it really, Sidekick Sid likes to get onto my lap the minute I get in from work. Have you ever seen a 30kg bulldog trying to leap like a salmon? it's one of the 10 wonders of the world! well until he lands in your lap that is.
