Fbg 6.7
I had no idea why I couldn't access this site for a couple of days. I got presented with a white page with the tiniest writing on the top saying 403 error and access denied because I was not authorised Etc.
I had no idea what happened. But I understand reading backwards they were doing something to this site. They knew in advance, yet nothing was on the site, no banner across the top before the site went down. I thought this was completely gone. Just wiped out.
I have enough of my own problems at the moment as regards the Cochlear Implant, the Apple update on my iPhone which completely messed all aspects of functionality with with Speech Processor, making the iPhone nothing more than a glorified bloated expensive coffee mat. It has caused the Speech Processor to malfunction.
I am not the only one. There are thousands of deaf hearing aid people and cochlear people and BaHa users across the globe who are victims to this update of Apple wrecking so much and causing all alerts to go right into our skulls frightening the living daylights out of us. There was no advance warning that this was going to happen. Prior to that all alerts were from the phone, not directly transmitted into our neural pathways at the loudness level of being stuck inside Big Ben as it is chiming midnight. This update has traumatised me as regards sounds and unexpected noises and aggravated my non-stop tinnitus making it worse because it has incorporated the in the skull loud noise alerts within it. And it has also done the same to countless others.
Apple still haven't sorted it, and as I don't have a working phone because of this I had to get another phone...an Android. So I am learning how to use that, and how to customise alerts so that I get no alerts apart from a vibration. I cannot deal with noise/sound alerts in any shape or form at the moment.
So, I will be absent for a bit now. I was upset when I couldn't access this site and got presented with a 403 error page for a couple of days.
Best wishes. Take care.

ooh..my head..
Great day yesterday..drank a little more then expected,
Was meant to be just 3 of us, but rather pleasantly, others came later during day in dribs and drabs to join us..a lunch time session evolved into a full evening session..(almost)
My first real drink this year apart from holidays, and i think i've turned into a bit of light weight, judging ny those who started with me, still looking ok, as i had to call it a night..LoL
Seems i came home, sat on arm of couch, announced i was pappily hissed ()
roll back on to the couch seat, legs draped over the arm of the couch, and began snoring.
(Which is better then the last time i came home like that, where i intended to sneak into bed quietly, but caught my foot taking of my jeans, stumbled over a free standing oil heater, scared the bejasus out of the cat, while swearing in japanese..so i'm told..)
Good job it's only once in a blue moon...
Our adopted cat, then took great delight in kneading me with it's paws, before curling up on me for the night.
awoke at 3 am, stumbled off to bed and awoke, feeling a tad worse for wear, about midday.
So hoping i survive the recovery,
to whit i'm here now sipping copious amounts of tea.
trying to decide if a good fry up would be helpful or not,,decisions, decisions
Reading was 5.7 on waking, so quite happy with that.
day is dictated by self infliction, to be a simple one..( for now. )
hope all is ok out there, wherever you all are.
Best wishes for your day.
Not to mention money. Costing a fortune in petrol but all in a good cause. Trying to get funding to do support sessions in community..doubt will get though. Love helping. Cousin sent me this just yesterday:@Debandez thanks for the report on how yesterday panned out. It sounds absolutely fantastic and such a spirit of hope for people who dont know how to help themselves. It is surprising that so many HCPs are not up to speed about carbs. The menu looked great too and illustrating that there are lots of options on LC. A really big WELL DONE to you Deb for using your time, energy and fabulousness to help spread that message of hope.
Its good to hear you are in a happy place and the interaction with neighbours is definitely good for you. I’ve just gone to check on Daisy and found her underneath her night blanket in the dark. They are both usually on the sofa with me at this time. I think when she went out after breakfast today something must have spooked her. Well it is Halloween I suppose! Hope the KC doesnt get spooked by fireworks tonight@PenguinMum thank you for thinking of the KittenCat and me. We are doing well. I'm eating worse and feeling better than I've eaten and felt for awhile, so even though I know it's "wrong" I am enjoying feeling pretty good. It's also been nice recently to feel part of the physical community where I live as well as the online community that I often prefer! There is a lot less negativity online, and a lot more people with whom I share common interests, than in the physical world where I "live."
It sounds like Daisy is experiencing second kittenhood. The KittenCat goes through phases like this sometimes and I love watching her high-tailing it around the apartment. My late MasCat often did the same thing when she was quite elderly, including climbing the curtains in our previous apartment. They were floor-to-ceiling length, and she would start at the bottom and go all the way up!
ETA: I sometimes feel that this country is about to undergo a huge change, and that it will start in California. A friend of mine wants to visit California before -- as she says -- it falls into the sea. I don't think it will do that, but I do wonder how long it is going to last ... things out there are pretty horrible and getting worse, from what I hear. Residents are leaving in droves, and even with all the money that is there, no one seems able or inclined to do anything for the place.
Many thanks I will give them a whirl@mojo37 and @HarryBeau the recipe is for Savoury Cheese Scones on iwdu.co.uk and they are really good. The recipe makes 4 large scones (3g carbs) so you have the option to get 6 smaller ones. I sometimes put in a bit more cheddar than they suggest! They freeze well too.
Me too hot soup and a crusty bread roll yum yum shame It would bring my levels up too high ...bread seems to be my nemesis.Found it going to make some today I'm starving...ps. still thinking about the soup & buttered roll.
