Yes rugby was so disappointing though at least it was clear SA deserved it. Our power has stayed on and the wind has dropped a lot and its brighter. I imagine it was high seas in Cornwall early today.Glad the omelette worked. I think I should have had one too.
We’re not sure if Dennis is settled into his new look yet -it still gives me a shock to see him but it will definitely make it easier to clean him up after walks. It’s so muddy everywhere at the moment.
Hope your power stayed on for the rugby, or maybe it’d have been better if it went off?
Yes thank you...still not sure what caused it she was still a bit jittery yesterday...unless she sensed the storm this morning was on its way!@PenguinMum how is Daisy today? Has she recovered from her fright?
Probably PM years ago one of mine would go & hide in a cupboard before a thunderstorm started.Yes thank you...still not sure what caused it she was still a bit jittery yesterday...unless she sensed the storm this morning was on its way!

Sounds dramatic and I’d still like to be there. Hope you and Dennis are now toasty in front of the fire. Take care if you go out again. We have severe weather warnings. I took D to Par sands this morning ( yes @SaskiaKC he has got rid of the cone now, thank goodness so can gambol to his hearts content)I nearly didn’t get there as some of the roads were flooded and there were branches down all over the place. I could hardly keep upright walking along the beach. D alternated between running around like a mad thing and sheltering behind the dunes.
Glad your power stayed on, hope it continues to brighten up.

A very interesting video - thank you for posting it. This week has been so hectic I have only just watched it.Thanks for all the congrats folks - think @jjraak and @Krystyna23040 are the latest 2 to thank. More importantly, is any of this true or just wishful thinking? - I can no longer work out who or what to believe but if any of it is true this may be helpful
Hope your Labrador has recovered from his long walk. I have just started giving my 13 year old Labrador a supplement called youmove and he has definitely become more bouncy. My friend gives it to her elderly cat and is very impressed with the results - so much so that she says she is thinking of taking it herself. Hopefully she is joking. Our poor old Labrador is very stiff today, I think his days of long walks my be over poor thing. I suppose our 8 mile was two or three times that for him with the ground he covered.
We felt so sorry for him so we gave him some Paracetamol, he's a bit thick so he thought it was a treat and it was gone in one gulp. It took him a good 24 hours before he was walking normal again, he seems OK for now but I think lots of short walks from now on. Thanks for info re supplement I will look out for it and give it a try.Hope your Labrador has recovered from his long walk. Tonight I was at our sons for firework party, he's got a dog that looks very much like @DJC3 's Dennis, my granddaughters put him in their dolls pram where he sat calmly and watched the fireworks, sparklers and bonfire, later he was being dressed up as different characters from stories, he revels in the attention.
It's strange about animals and fireworks, our Labrador doesn't mind them but next door neighbours German Shepherd becomes a quivering wreck. Our two cats never minded them either. We keep our horses at Shugborough where they have huge firework shows throughout the year and on bonfire night, we used to worry and so would camp in a nearby field so we could keep our eye on them but there was never a need to worry as they would line up and watch them over the fence whilst occassionaly grazing.
Thank you @SaskiaKC it is made by the same people who make the doggy and cat tablets. Will tell my friend about it. She will be pleased as she does have quite bad arthritisI just found something that sounds similar, for humans, called iMove.
