Already got one of those. It's called a hubsta. Had it 33 years and has taught itself it 'switch off' when necessary. Funnily enough the word diabetes usually shuts it down completely ;-)
They are adorable HB love the second pic especially where they are sleeping in a hug. I believe they could get away with anything! Thanks PM I'm still experimenting so overall I'm expecting ups & downs so not disappointed...and how could I start my day with a frown with these two

Same here had mine since I was 15 in 1965, let someone else do the maths. Mind you she must have had an update as now she responds on second asking with, "You don't talk loud enough"Female model has the same defects. Mind you, mine is 35 years old so newer models may have fixed the problem.
They get away with everything PM...the wicker baskets in 'their' room packed with the girls teddies are scattered teddies have been attacked viciously on the bed ...socks all over the house as they like to hunt them...they have just turned their little noses up at yet another brand of premier dry kitten food (the second one rejected) just now I saw one of my best bras disappearing around the corner of the kitchen the little so and so's brought it all the way down from upstairs!I believe they could get away with anything!
I have heard that there is a male version of Alexa about to be launched; it ignores everything you say.
I find the sofa with a couple of cushions behind my back impossible to relax on without nodding off...then there is the comfy old winged arm chair anyone who sat in that would often close their eyes when they sat in it...of course that could have been me!...I have another favourite chair which also has soporific qualities...now the living room has been rearranged and the chairs have been dispatched to the corners of the room it's usually the sofa with a footstool

Had a bit of a lie-in this morning, must have been all the excitement yesterdayPresenting a 5.8 this morning for the world to see, have a great day.
Mine is an old leather Lay-z-boy recliner like the one below. Worn in and very comfy

Comfy Chairs, I would not be without my leather high backed armchair, I suppose Queen Ann design, all our chairs are high backed other than the sofas, great for neck support I'm not keen on recliners.
So here is snap of my fall asleep in chair, I included log stove as that adds to the comfort this time of year and of course my guitar and mandolin are always handy unless the humidity drops below 40 when they are put away, fortunately that is not often in this part of the world.

Happy Thursday to all
Take care
Morning All. 5.5 again which is ok for me. Hugs to @ianpspurs and @HarryBeau for your disappointment. I know only too well how that starts your day with a frown.
I like the look of that stuffed peppers recipe by Joe Wicks that @Debandez posted. Is he known to promote LC recipes? I can honestly say I have never liked anything made with batter, pancakes or Yorkies but I know Toad in the Hole is a very popular dish so hope @trick60 gets his LC version. @SaskiaKC those bins seemed to be moving faster than the traffic, scary if one of those hit you. My favourite seat is my sofa which is old and cat torn but oh so comfy and I can get my feet and legs up. Most afternoons you will find me there with a rug and two cats. Sorry rambling on a out nothing in particular..ignore me!
@gennepher thanks for sharing another fine painting. Have a great Thursday everyone. Stay well, stay safe.
@Muddy Cyclist what a lovely, peaceful and tasteful environment to relax in after cycling, painting, gardening and music making. Thank you for posting and enjoy for many years to come. @Krystyna23040 I am glad the good control of yesterday hasn't resulted in higher BS today. @PenguinMum you weren't rambling just being friendly and sharing your own happy place. Pleased your fbg is where you want. My fbg is way out of the safety zone today but honest analysis is needed - no place for disappointment. The level is bad, it happens too often. Neither my body nor this WOE are perfect but just rolling over and letting those truths tickle my tummy is not who I am. Presenting my journey in a way that acknowledges that calmly whilst doing justice to God's love for me and everyone else, exactly where we are, is the real challenge. I don't meet that challenge often or well enough, sadly. Obs not well enough "rooted and grounded in love"

@trick60 Have tried various low carb pancake recipes, so far all are more like omelette.
@SaskiaKC really appreciate all the little emoji and amusing videos. Thanks for spending time to find them and even more for sharing the fun.
This morning 5.8 HOORAY. Had breakfast immediately.
Being back to normal(ish) non- routine has obviously helped.
Raining today so indoors work to start with. Kitchen preparation for decorating. All that filling and sanding yuk.
6.7 which wasn't unexpected. Did it again and 6.2. But it was a reflection of a hungry day yesterday and late night eating. I had mushroom omelette for breaky. Lunch was stilton mushrooms with my friend for lunch soon after! Left the garlic bread that accompanied but found it difficult. In fact broke up one of the 2 pieces to use half to dip up sauce but put it back down. Then later out with BIL to local pub for his birthday meal. I ordered chili con carne which came with rice and nachos. Eric ate the nachos (about 5) and I left most of the rice apart from 3 fork fulls. But there were beans in the chilli. Not the best choice but I fancied it. Home to lots of cheese, nuts and glass wine and later coffee and chocolate!
Today going to view a house. Looking for next project as current house sale almost at completion stage. Excited.
This morning will be paperwork. Then picking up granddaughter from nursery school and giving her some tea. As soon as she gets popped into her car seat she is zzzzzzzzzz. Long day for a 3 year old.
My aunties 80th today. She is a legend. Had 10 children. Put all through college and uni. After which she went back to study. Ended up with a masters degree. Strongest woman I know apart from my own dear mum RIP.
Look at me, smug as ......keeping up nicely
Bless you but whilst all have fallen short ..... seems I have made a special effort to fall just that little bit shorterI was looking for the Disagree icon for that last line ...

And yet the Big Mac now looks like wimpy's smallest pattie from back in the in the day
do agree the portions are larger now, all round.
when i started on this i was curios just what all those 30g of this or that ACTUALLY Looked like..so measure them on the kitchen scales..(bought for the T2D era )
SO shocked ../a bowl of cereal for me was TO THE TOP and don't spare the Krispies,
lashing of milk and a BIG spoon.
The bowl i prepared at 30g, was less then a small child's size handful of cereal and a splash of milk that barely covered the krispies
No wonder many of us kept getting fatter and fatter...
You don't give up do you? As the folks hereabouts say, you're too, too kindI'm still looking for that Disagree icon ...
OK -- found it ---
