The word Si in Swahili usually means no or not.
I rated your post a winner but also think that it was really funny."..Well i did it...
i slipped in "The FOURBIDDEN ZONE" this morning for a little wander.
Don't think i was spotted but i must have looked so out of place..I'm not a natural for the FOUR Zone..
(4,6 as you ask..and NO i didn't believe it either..so, yes, ...am i really so transparent,...
you know me SO well.....i did wash and retest.....Only 4.FIVE AROONEY..get in )
i didn't stay long, scared i'd get rumbled..
but what i saw i was impressed...Very organised down there.
they seem pretty chilled, most keep busy, though did spot one chap eating JUST meat and leaving his Brussels to one side ()
so i my first thought..was Carnivores.. ,,
But then i noticed one had a dog and was walking it and stopping to chat to others,
SO....it DIDN'T like it was meant as someones dinner
though i did catch matey above lingering a little too long, while petting it...
Anyway, i thought best not push my luck so came back and am now sitting a Point 5.2..looking out over the valley below.
oops, best get back to the camp, i heard a ruckus, i think a new painting has just been displayed..
catch ya all later.."
In other news, this was close to home.
going to be a lot of normal folk falling ill, as is normal, who are going to be the centre of a scare, i'm afraid.

It's awful what's happening. It feels like this virus has come out of the blue. I dont think China are telling the full story as its been around since 2019 by all accounts. I saw a Chinese family with luggage coming across road from train station to sainsburys and immediately my thoughts went to wondering if they have flown in from china. We are all so international now. Wonder how it will pan out. On a lighter note glad to see you had a fab day and managed to avoid the m and ms!!!! Well eating them at least .Up earlier, but out to meet Lauren for lunch.
had a good week so far...all mornign FBG's and pre food BG's in the McGarett Zone..Love it
Out monday gym
Tuesday Lazy day
wed met our steph in chiniatown.
(yeah, i know..we discussed it before we went.. we live in london, use tubes all the time or buses, how do all the people get anywhere, Chinese, tourists, locals, all by TUBE or BUS..so no safer on the tube then Chinatown so we risked it.)
Nice beer in De Heims a dutch bar in Chinatown itself,mmhh... Mid week, early jan, but it 'felt' quieter all round.
Wander off after a nice catch up to the wong kei, been going for years, 5 floors of restaurants lots of chinese., normally..always a good recommendation, in my book, for any foreign food is if their nationals eat there.)
But it was like the marie celeste when we got to first floor...
(ground had a few in, but rare to be seated downstairs.)
never seen it so quiet, was as stated mid Jan, but rarely have we been the only diners, above the ground floor.
BUT food was nice..duck noodle, salt n chilli spare ribs, steph had shredded steak with vegetables,
(that steak was EXCELLENT, Btw)

Off to M & M world, (dear God.) ..4 floors of sweetshop selling...M & M's...only..
really JUST M & M's
View attachment 38245
well merchandised to be fair, every thing and anything you could wish for with M & M's on
and the power of marketing... we pooh pooh'd it as we walked around YET STILL ended buying a box of Colourful sweeties for stephs flatmate at an exorbitant price..hey ho.
Home later...some 3+ hours after meter says 6.2..so not too bad.
Aw mate not good.Good Evening, I have had the most stressful day of the year, been through a gambit of emotions and situations, eat very low carbs and have ended the day with a 7.2. I suspect another indication that stress is as damaging as carbs to BG levels and not the result of Friday evenings overdoing things.

I got to the end, but Eric couldnt understand a flippin word!I only managed the first line!
What..?I hot to the end, but Eric couldnt understand a flippin word!
Good evening one and all. My fbs this morning was 7.9. No time to post as I had an early appointment at Specsavers to have mum's hearing aid repaired. Having waited a week already for the appointment we were told they will have to visit her in the nursing home to make a new mould. As they don't have anyone to do this at the moment we may have to wait another 12 weeks! This is not going to help with mum's communication and understanding. The good news is that my blood test results were OK and my HbA1c was 56 which was not too bad considering I've had a virus for the last 4 weeks as well as Christmas and Birthday celebrations to take into consideration. The advice was to watch my diet and repeat in 3 months. I am watching my diet and whilst my levels and weight are holdong their own they are not improving! This week has flown by. I can't believe it's the week-end already. Have a good one everyone.
A bit, but mostly a bump, my fault Car in front at T junction turned right, I followed turning left, he stopped I shunted. Very little damage to either vehicle, bumper paint scratches, I have the photos, no passengers hurt all out of cars inspecting damage, lots of shouting by wife of the guy I hit, but all sorted. Then an hour later get a text from them saying he had taken his wife to hospital with very bad back pains. OK insurance company not very bothered as though it's all perfectly normal. Me? All shuck up by it and of course mad with myself, been 35 years since I last had a bump. GRrrrr!Aw mate not good.
MiL ?
I saw a very sad video of a baby in a hospital room. With the coronavirus. Quarantined. About 12 months old. Holding his arms out to dad behind the glass. Dad was devastated as couldnt pick him up. I hope this is sorted soon.@gennepher what a handsome boy your Popeye is and what a talented lady you are.
I was watching an interview with a man in Wuhan earlier in the week who had a Chinese wife and a few weeks old baby. They havent been able to have any of the usual medical checks on the baby due to medical centres being no go areas. He had the dilemma of whether he should apply to travel to the UK and whether his wife and baby would be allowed on the flight. I hope you arent coming down with anything but as we know only too well BG can shoot up for no particular reason. Take care today.

Great PIC should be my AvatarOh, @Muddy Cyclist , what a mess. I am so sorry. No wonder you are all shook up! Bumps like that are so scary and shouting just makes it worse.
I hope shouting wife is alright, of course, and I hope your insurance company is right that they're not bothered. Hopefully you can take your cue from them and let it wash away -- she probably strained something shouting!
Meanwhile maybe you can get a good night's sleep and get out with your bike and get good and muddy in the morning.
