So more brushes and other equipment in next batch of paintings, assuming you are not all getting fed up of them.
Stick to Coffee and Red wine, use the Gin to clean your teeth.
Too little ..Too late ..sadly.

think it's not a question of when we join china,
it's how bad it gets..
IF we don't find a cure asap.

That would be interestingI don’t think we’ll ever get tired of yours or @gennepher ‘s paintings. Your challenges to yourselves have given the rest of us a lot of pleasure. I really look forward to seeing them. I wonder if DCUK would get involved in producing a charity calendar of your works?
Thank you.
I do have a few smaller things of hers, but the desk was made the year she was born, and I remember when her father brought it to her. I think it had been made for her mother. So an heirloom that I'm just not really ready to give up if I can help it. But the friend who kept it for me loves it too, and she has kids she could possibly leave it to ... So it would continue to be loved ....
Agreed 100%
I have never had sugar with my tea or coffee since I was a teenager. In fact , I have never bought sugar in my entire life. I sometimes ( not regularly ) added milk to my coffee before diabetes ( usually only if the coffee was not great quality , just to mask rough flavor).
I think the secret to enjoy black coffee or tea is to keep trying it ( maybe at first with dark chocolate , or a walnut ). But after a while , it is just how you like it.
Also flavored coffee ( like with chocolate flavor or truffle or vanilla flavor ) might make it easier as a starter .
Might be an idea to fill the place where you might put the table with empty boxes...see how much it would impact on your living space/room then decide.Ooh that’s a hard choice. Maybe best to wait til you’re settled in the new place and can see where it might fit. If it feels homey without, then leave where it is, with your friend, but if there’s a gap it would be just perfect for, bring it with you. Don’t rush the decision.
Have a wonderful day if you can and be careful what you think - people tend to become what they constantly think about.

Frosty good morning to you all. How to evaluate a 5.3 fbg this morning? Not where good lives but sizeable off piste eating yesterday afternoon seems to have been integrated reasonably well. 1/2 a Waitrose 1 Hot X bun cold with loads of Kerrygold - grass fed - and quite a few of Julie's chips from the local chip shop. Bun works out at 24 gms carb - 4.4 @ + 2 hrs. Evening meal and 3 or 4 tests before bed topped out @ 5.9 with a bedtime 4.9. I maybe need more grunt in my diet. sometimes. Seems 1 Timothy 4 (al la ESV) applies here. 15K+ steps daily plus lifting, while clearing sheds (4), over the last few days suits me. 15k steps just walking is my idea of wasted time (at least without dogs).. Re FUBB - obviously referring to the wonderful Wisbone Ash albumHave a great day. The chasps is a packing of us today. Julie is not that tall so I need to label her: do not pack
If y'all like acronyms 1 of my all time faves sums up diabetes (and Johnsonia) and its "funny" little ways: BOHICA
I agree @jjraak
This is going to get horrendously worse.
I have always thought that from the start.
I have been reading different warnings from different places, on the things we need to do, and I always thought it was woefully inadequate, and without scaremongering, I believe the transmission is more than what is being said, and more virulent.
I watched the Dr Berry video, I think that @OldButBold posted on the Coronavirus a short whole ago, and in it he suggested that it could live on surfaces for up to 5 days. So I tried researching this. Virtually no info then, I found a research paper, i think from 2010 that suggested it could live for 25 days (I think) on metal surfaces. So at this point i am thinking lift buttons and goodness knows what else, and what about the money coins we use?
It doesn't bear thinking about.
Update: I am trying to educate myself as much as i can and just joined a Future Learn course on Pandemics which has just pooped into my inbox. But the course doesn't start until 17th February.
I think populated areas are probably more likely to spread any virus if its present. The thing is the symptons of people becoming ill are the same as flu eg my son, his GF and her mother had a nasty flu that lasted several weeks before Christmas the remnants of which remain in the mum. Is everyone going to their GP (bearing in mind how long that takes) with flu now going to be tested for CV or is only people who have visited China? But someone who has visited China and has the virus without symptons could well have used the handrail on the bus and someone who never went to China could pick it up and display flu symptoms later. It seems like roulette to me.Second update to my earlier post above.
In case you were wondering why I was researching the effects of the coronavirus on surfaces...there was a reason...
Last week I got an order from China. It had been ordered in December. I thought it was lost which suited me. But it arrived at the beginning of last week.
I am thinking oh no, I am not going to open this. I kicked it to the corner and covered it with an old jumper.
So, this is the reason why I was researching coronavirus and surfaces, and possibly airborne stuff if I opened it.
All I found in current recommendations was any mail or packages from China are safe to open. But I still wasn't going to open it.
Then I found this. Go to about two thirds way down the page, where it says 2010 research and surfaces...

I am actually thinking of the bonfire option @PenguinMumI think populated areas are probably more likely to spread any virus if its present. What I would suggest about your parcel from China is put it high up in an outside shed or in a sealed bin bag and leave it a month or so before opening it. Make sure Popeye or other animals ant get it or just set fire to it!

I am actually thinking of the bonfire option @PenguinMum
It is absolutely not worth the risk given the current situation....
I agree @jjraak

Not read the book called The Secret but I do think that if you decide that you are going to enjoy your day, then you probably will.Interesting observation. Have you ever read a book called The Secret ? Basically says similar, although it’s all about achieving. I do think that if you think optimistic, happy thoughts you are likely to be happier than if you dwell on the misery and unfairness. It’s a positive choice.
I am still fighting the Wednesday’ child label.
