Getting my Vitamin D
So envious gennepher what a view...just hung out the first lot of washing on the rotary dryer...the first time I've been out or certainly down to the bottom of the garden for months...noticed what a mess it is but good to feel the sunshine on my face...wondering how long the washing will stay hung up Charlie & Lola the dangerous pets are eyeing it with great interest.

5.3 today.

Spring Morning
Star and coronal and bell
April underfoot renews,
And the hope of man as well
Flowers among the morning dews.

Now the old come out to look,
Winter past and winter’s pains,
How the sky in pool and brook
Glitters on the grassy plains.

from A. E. Housman’s ‘Spring Morning’

Thank you :)

I haven’t done washing today, but thrown my electric blanket out there to air off, and some blankets and fleeces as well. They are thrown over bushes out of sight of this photo!

Charlie and Lola behave yourselves :cat::cat:

Goodness me, what is happening in our small rural culdesac? Last week two ambulance teams and an air ambulance to my neighbour, who sadly passed away in ICU and now to another neighbour 2 police cars on blue lights and two ambulances. Years go by with no great happenings then, Wham!

Hope you can bring your kefir back to life. We are off this morning to a farm that guarantees it's milk is antibiotic free. It's getting harder to get organic whole milk in our little market town and I don't want to put us at risk by traipsing around all the supermarkets to find it.

I put the grains into fresh milk overnight, poured that away and put in fresh milk this morning - have to wait and see. I have two sets of grains in the freezer if that does not work.

I have given up the prospect of anything other than standard supermarket meat & diary now Krystyna...managed to get another click & collect slot for groceries this morning...it's not until the 2nd of may but we're well stocked so that's okay like you I don't want to traipse round supermarkets unless I absolutely have to.
We visited the farm shop. It was lovely to see the baby lambs next to the car park. Milk is from a vending machine and is fresh every day and you fill up your own bottles. They have meat, eggs, veggies, homemade jam and Ice cream. Ice cream is their main business.

We will now go there once a week as it felt really safe shopping there. Hopefully the kefir will do really well with the milk.

Are you going to make som
If I said I'd someone to do it would that count gennepher...I'd be far too dangerous with tools myself but it is possibly something I could have a go at...I have the old sofa down in the summer house could use the seat cushions from that...I might just try it

It is 1pm. Achieved today so far: 1 doggie walk. 1 washload of washing hanging out in the garden. Several cups of coffee drunk. 1 visit to farm shop. 1 newspaper read. 1 suduko completed successfully. 3 Mah Jong completed successfully. Funny videos emailed to friends. That is quite productive - isn't it?
More impressive than me...two lots of washing hung out...twitter and a sit down.
