What was your fasting blood glucose? (full on chat)

(depends on bladder control)

so can't be tempted, bladder control not a problem as there are many trees although non of them are lavortrees :joyful:.

As I am a lady, trees are not useful to me. However, I am thinking of going back to Victorian times, and wear my long skirt and no k.......
Then stand on the grass verge looking all innocent....

Good morning everyone from another day of filling up the bird feeders in the dark and dangerous north

The wonder wheel of some farm shop goodies foraged by Mrs Miggins came in at 4.6 this am

Not a lot going on today, hunkering down lest the pub zombies and hair freaks descend upon the neighbourhood. My youngest brother opens his hair salon in Bristol today. He is fully booked until the end of August so don’t get any ideas. Nail bars @ianpspurs - there is a a pedi-cure for that. It’s a 12 step programme - depending upon where the bus drops you off. Don’t think that I will be booking a table in a restaurant any time soon. I haven't yet completed my H&S course on how to juggle a knife, fork, mask and plastic screen whilst still smiling and looking relaxed. Neither have the other 5 people in the potential bubble group.

Happy Birthday to @gennepher, I hope that your day is a good one. Be careful when sneaking over that border for a swift pint.

As always, have a wonderful day , lovely art galleries. Welcome to new thread members. Koffy.

Thank you @dunelm for my birthday greetings.
I shall sneak over the border with stealth....

Some silly overeating last few days, triggered by tractor refusing to go. Well fired up ok, but when I started reversing out, it stalled and refused to restart. This was lunchtime. Really did not want to tell MrSlim i had broken the tractor. Not that he would blame me, but he would get stressed about it. Many attempts much swearing, too much cheese, glass of wine, several long waits, some peanuts, another glass of wine, in the end had to call MrSlim who talked me through and we got it going. However by then had wasted most of a day, it was 18.20pm beautiful sunny evening with a cool wind. Nobody sitting out. Started cutting. Did about a quarter of it, in two hours. Forecast is rain w/e. Really wanted it done before then.
This morning, sunny start, but showers. Faint possibility of getting more cut. Almost no chance it will be finished as tractor is painfully slow.
Have had letters from electricity suppliers. Am not quite sure what they want me to write, but apparently i should put a notice on my postbox ???
Perhaps take the letters to the neighbour who helped with the lights,
@gennepher Have a lovely birthday.

Hugs for the mysterious electricity letters. Hope you get that sorted effortlessly.

Thanks for birthday greetings @SlimLizzy

Morning...I'm not dashing out for a pint just yet drinks will be served at home or in the garden... Monday is a Pink Gin & Chilli evening...tomorrow I am heading for London to meet some family the first time I've been in six months guidelines will be adhered to...so driving there contactless card will be deployed & I have a swish new face mask as do the family...slightly nervous about being in my home town but we are relatively sensible & will be very careful...managed to get invoices done now just a few times sheets which I can pop into our office in Camden Town we shall be staying there to eat & have a brief walk to see how the land lies...any sign of trouble or disorder we'll retreat to the car...today housework I shall be using the new hoover Siobhan (niece) has claimed the Shark which rarely got used & is super excited about it (poor thing she doesn't get out much) ...tired of fancy new fangled cordless things & the super hoovers I've reverted to a plug in one that I've favoured for many years...another coffee a little breakfast then to work...woke to a 6.3 keep safe everyone.

Lovely gennpeher Popeye could teach my two a lot...they are still locked out of the bedroom...Charlie has a particular fascination with duvets...he ruined two before the door got locked!
Thanks for birthday wishes @HarryBeau

Popeye has a beige fur fleece on my bed, which when the mood takes him, he shreds (I have no idea what this tugging and shredding is). He tugs and shreds it. Then he goes round in a circle 3times in the same spot, and goes to sleep.

You have a good brilliant absolutely fantastic day @HarryBeau

You are christening The Shark today! Congratulations ;)

You are christening The Shark today!
No the Shark is going to a new home gennepher I'm taking it to Siobhan it's a heavy machine & you have to treat it like a Princess...so I am reverting to a Miele which is the one I've mostly always had it does what it says on the tin...plugs in and is a powerful little beast lighter & the tools are housed in the hoover so it's easy to find them...had enough of modernity hoovers going back to my tried & tested ones.

My ZenBrush2 app painting for today.

My first attempt at a cat!
I might try more cats today....

For my real paper and ink Chinese paintings, I had various seals, and 20 years ago I could write my Chinese name. But I cannot do my Chinese name on this app yet, my hand is far too clumsy. However, I have been trying to figure out how to do a simple pictorial Chinese seal (the last few days) for my ZenBrush2 paintings. This is the most successful so far, to say I am a cat painter (albeit only one cat painting so far).

I'm not saying what Charlie (at least I think it was him) did on the duvets he'd be socially shamed...I wish my two were more amenable to keeping our feet warm but alas no...and both purr like tractors you'd never get a wink of sleep beside those two...Popeye is well trained (most likely he's trained you well) and a gentleman mine are teenagers at the moment.

Ah! I see @HarryBeau
Hope you can lift The Shark in the car. And maybe keep an eye on it while you drive...

Going straight in the boot...no idea how Siobhan will get it home ordinarily I would have dropped her off home but now it will cost £15 because the Congestion Charge is active 7 days a week until further notice.
