Looks spot on in me eyes, a very well seen and beautiful picture. Will be interested in seeing how you create a less worked version at some point.

Always a mystery. Today I ate a very small scone made with coconut flower and a small amount of self raising flower, no jam just butter and a lump of cheese, my BG stayed over 6 all day even though all else was low carbs. Yet when we used to eat out I often would succumb to a piece of Cheese Cake and surprisingly there would be no effect on BG. Still it sounds like you had an enjoyable outing.

this is the picture of roses I mentioned last week, I began with the watercolour pencils and fiddled with it until it ended up overworked, might have another go to see if I can improve;)

The mountain on the right took one hour because it was a dull day outside, then suddenly the sun came out and clear blue skies, and I ain't sitting in bed painting on a now beautiful day. So two mountains on the left and the clouds were a rush job done in 10 minutes (you can tell!)...I am out there in that sun...byeeee

Mr gee got some plants put out in the garden and I went round again with the weedkiller spray targeting the sea buckthorn seedlings :) then we had a good walk round the village.

Up and out again - 6 lumps of plasterboard up yesterday, 10 LED down lights fitted and tested - quite achy this morning - now off home - have a great day - oh, 5.2 on the schoville scale of lies

A great group of trees @dunelm

May I ask you how long it takes you to do, please? I only ask, because I know I spend too long doing my digital paintings (too much time on my hands?), but I do find it therapeutic, letting my fingers do the painting/drawing. I am going to give myself a time limit today (because I have a busy day). Thank you.

I couldn't sleep last night, woke up at 5 past midnight, but sleep eluded. So was looking through the postcards I had bought...my winning bids from eBay the week before. And I came across a surprise in the packet of 100 postcards of Scotland. You don't get to see all the postcards before you bid, the seller only takes a photo of about 40, probably the best 40 postcards. And this postcard was not in the photograph.

And so, I am delighted to show you that Nessie really does exist. On the back of the postcard it says 'This is a real photograph'.

Some of you said you were disappointed on not seeing Nessie, and so here is a real photograph from the 1930's showing the existence of Nessie!

My painting for today in ZenBrush2 is from 'Example of Mi Fei's style in rendering mountain peaks'.

I spend far too long doing my digital paintings. Today I am busy and I needed a quick one one to do. So I chose this one and gave myself a time limit of 10 minutes. After all @Muddy Cyclist does his masterpieces in 15 minutes using real paint and paper.

10 minutes. I had it done in 7 minutes. 3 mins left. I did the seal. More than 2 and a half minutes left. I popped the setting sun at the top of the mountain. Two and a half minutes left, so I added a bit of pink shading on the mountains. Two minutes left, so I shot over to Snapseed to put on the thin black frame on which I like. Saved it. One minute to spare. I did this in 9 minutes.

it was actually satisfying!!!!

6.2 this morning and driving duties are in order so no path laying today :)

Despite the blue skies and bright sunshine, her ladyship has decided to fire up the boilers which we share, so the next job will be bleeding the radiators ;)
 
5.2 this morning. So it looks as though it is absolutely fine to go to bed with a reading of 3.6. Did a check at 2pm and it was 3.8. No horrible false hypo symptoms so it looks like the machine is continuing to repair - albeit very slowly.

Speedy and like you say something satisfying about achieving a piece of art from those quick movements, brilliant. Whilst yesterday's Bonsai painting did take 15 minutes the signature did take about another 3 mins.

I have to gloss Mrs MCs study and get everything back in, then sons to deliver some crockery. We have friends popping in for coffee Wednesday and so Mrs MC would like me to clean the windows also. :bored:

Welcome to Autumn - and you really are to welcome to it and Winter AFIAC. Art against the clock, boilers, bleeding radiators, Nessie, plasterboard and LEDs, Strawberry Sundae's and 18 hr fasts - all I did was sleep. All sorts of readings from 2 devices so a kind of guessing game. Based on an OMAD of around 10 gms carbs, a temp of 35.3 (high for me) sniffles and being about 90 mins later than usual I'll go with a 5. Four days of grandchildren with 2 nights sleepover for 2 of them @Krystyna23040 Julie, or as she is known now I'm so old my next of kin, deserves the medal for how my version of LC affects her. Also. since the Cau chain of eateries closed I have zero interest in eating out - don't even like eating or drinking at my children's houses. @Muddy Cyclist you make the rest of us look like bad husbands:angelic: I don't like the results of my own DIY - perfectionist builder dad not a help - so awaiting tradies and No 3 son who spent lots of time with his granddad. Toodle pip and get back to that office your Pret needs you,.
