That is so funny.

good evening all :)

4.2 today

a quiet day doing some more wardrobe sorting, too much 'stuff' stashed in the spare bedroom ;)

A very cold wind here today but we managed a walk around the village.

Hope your day is treating you well :)

@ianpspurs - petition signed :) thank you, hope your MIL's situation is sorted soon.

@RFSMarch - hugs for the rotator cuff injury, tore part of mine a good few years ago lifting a box (subscapularis ;)), felt like it took forever to heal.

@gennepher - sheesh! not even underwear :banghead: what a c*ckup Fortunately our lockdown here is not so draconian, (and also fortunately I bought some new 'items ;)' last week :D )
Litte acts of kindness can make our day can't they? Love your bright autumnal painting, very cheering :joyful:

@Muddy Cyclist - we seem to specialise in transformations here :joyful:

@Alien Aspie - felicitations on the safe arrival :)

@dunelm - hugs for the cramp session, hopefully the walk has settled things down :)
A fine and subtle landscape today, you have a way with rocks :)

art bit -
got my new waterproof black ink pens :) I ordered them so I could have a go at pen and wash drawing.

Hopefully @lindisfel doesn't mind me using a lovely pic he posted as inspiration :)
some details were finished off after the main wash was dry

Excellent geeful, you have captured the quality of a book illustration.

Thank you @geefull

Your painting is beautiful, I love it.

Disaster here in Tilehurst Towers, I didn't wake up till 8:20 am. My plans are in tatters.
6.7 this morning.

Must go, hugs where required, remember don't let the bar stewards grind you down.
Time out for a special mention for @Muddy Cyclist . Well done an inspiration that things can be done.
Needs must, I had abused my Blood Glucose long enough for me seeing my old mom suffer with Type 2 scared me enough to act, thank you for the mention. :)

Morning...what a busy busy week worked so much and now have a ton of paperwork admin to do...finished a job last night at 11:30 pm I've turned my phone off need some time to catch up on things...tried my best to catch up here but this thread moves like the wind will browse through it later...hoping to get my paperwork finished this weekend if I don't succumb to the sofa & Netflix then drive it down to the office in London...next doors garden landscaping estimated to last ten days is likely to take lord knows how long...they arrive at 10 am & finish at 3 pm not exactly a full day...exhausted yesterday watched the Trump/Biden debate again not sure it was worth the time invested...about to slump on the sofa yesterday afternoon met with some resistance...this

You spoil them.

I have just been listening to the Bob Dylan song Farewell Angelina - sung by Joan Baez - a favourite artist of mine since the 60’s - a song of contrasts between the love of two people and the lunacy of the world around us. Sort of fits in some way with what’s going on right now. My Mother sang a song called Farewell to Tarwathie - similar melody but all about whales.
Anyhow.

Great song and a favourite rendition, it's one we have regularly performed, Mrs MC's got a cracking voice but does not come close to Joan's.

Okay. Not been in the best of moods today.
Was trying to set up to do Chinese painting, but got backache so need to sit on the couch with feet up.
Then a friend sent me a picture of the most amazing face mask (the design on it) that I have ever seen. I said I loved it. Then next text message was details of when the mask will be delivered to me. Wow! That put a smile on my face :)

So I got my Chinese paper, my Art-Kure brush pens, my water spray,
This is 'Autumn'. My painting for today.
I was in a bright colour mood. It is still sopping wet! So there is the strong possibility it will dry lighter. I don't possess a hair drier, so it will have to dry by itself!
So it could be that I will carry on working on it at a later time!
Not a traditional Chinese painting today!

See how this idea of painting develops...

Great fun those water spray techniques, a good Aautumn feel to it. I'm sure you will show us more of this method.

Your art today I can see illustrating a well written story book, you are a versatile artist. The wash is so well done so much light and shade.

Missed today so posting this tomorrow which of course is now today, I think.

I revisited Yesterday's painting or was it the days before? Any way I had given up on it then dabbled with it once daughter and family had left and here it is, better than yesterday but not my favourite....
