Creative is inks and hake brush and water.
Top is original version.bottom one is played with a little digitally.

Tired. Did some food shopping this morning, checking ingredients for rapeseed oil etc. Fell asleep when I got back.
Put this post together, fell asleep again.

Going to press post, and I am ready to fall asleep again....

Neil has just gone to the garage to collect the Scenic from its latest adventure (fixing the gear cable). New attachment had to come from France and was about £200 to replace the bit of wire the mechanic used as a temporary fix. The bill came with Alistair just before they left to go back to town and came to £450. That was pretty slick work by the garage office. But it wasn't as much as I was imagining, so all's well. Neil did suggest just getting rid of the car - it's getting on a bit now (05 reg) but most other vehicles (friends' cars, taxis) have high door sills which prevent me getting these worn out legs in so I am unwilling to let it go. I certainly can't afford another car. Next problem is likely to be the suspension which apparently is a bit more rusty than before. Neil noted that when it was jacked up with wheels off getting new tyres.
 
Helen filled in an e-consult for me last night and I had email from the doctor this am. She had re-establish my aldosterone blocker to 100 mg which enables me to combat Conn's Syndrome better and improve my breathing and heart function.

She goes to the Fringe on Saturday for a week and went home this pm.

Abigail from York goes to the Canaries on Sunday for two weeks with the family. It will be nice for them all getting away from all this rain

It seems to me, from your experience with e-consult with Helen filling it in for you @lindisfel that you do need better knowledge of these relatively new medical computing diagnosing systems to get the best out of them, and it's probably knowledge that most of us don't have to get what we need from out of these systems....

Those sparrows are the most quarrelsome I have ever seen. There is one male sparrow who has established himself as Dictator over all of them. The other male sparrows, several of them sit on a branch behind him, making themselves look smaller than the Dictator Sparrow, so as not to gain his attention.

Creative is acrylic ink painting, top one. Bottom one is played with digitally, but I was not satisfied with however many variations I have done. So, I saved 10 versions. And chose this one. I was looking for something calming, and I could not do a calm painting to save my life this morning...

I am overtired this morning. Didn't sleep properly. So, that is affecting my judgement with the paintings. I don't like either this morning.

Just cooked an early breakfast, now trying for a nap.
Back to look in later.

There is a little robin in my garden, not a young one, but he has no tail at all.

What do I know, she has spent c.40 years writing notes on patients and teaching other medics, so I guess she should know what's what.
Don't know how she will cope with retirement.

My paintings just do not rock my boat this morning...

Going through my emergency list on the back of my door...

1. Bach Flower Remedy - taken
2. Bach Flower Rescue Remedy Pastilles - can't find them
3. Ashwagandha - taken
4. My garden swing - not possible, pouring with rain....
5. Rose eye balm - rubbed on eyelids, soothing
6. Bach Flower Nighttime cream - rubbed on face, soothing, cleared my headache
7. Bach flower rescue cream - rubbed on hands which hurt immensely, it is taking away the joint pain...
More on my list, but not shifting out of my bed to get the stuff.

My paintings still do not rock my boat...

Going to meditate now. I give me one hour...

Well I think they are smashing and can’t choose one over the other.
 
Good morning everyone on a day full of promise after the deluge of yesterday here in the dark and dangerous north. So heavy a rain that I was constantly glancing outside to see if I could spot a big boat taking in animals. Girl in The Bubble stayed last night so I expect that a cafe will be in order this morning but not until the cavalcade of the bin lorry has been watched. Art bit, it’s my mum’s birthday today so sent her a bird on a branch. Happy Birthday to everyone who has a birthday today especially if it’s an early one and full of excitement and anticipation. Hope you all have a better day than you did yesterday. Best make some late Kofee.

Morning all from a dry L.A. where it is -ve COV test, no grandchildren, Little Guy's ™ 2nd birthday and drip trip day. @lindisfel good news on the e-consult outcome. JKP uses it for herself and MIL but as @gennepher says MIL almost certainly wouldn't on her own. @gennepher both creatives look amazing but I know what you mean by not being personally satisfied by something others like. @dunelm enjoy the time with TGIB, happy birthday to your mum, thanks for the stupendous artwork. The LG is off to the zoo today - he, of course, is blissfully unaware beyond making lion noises which are more to do with Moveit, Moveit. Footfall is down in high streets - lowest in 14 years - allegedly due to rain. Nothing to do with an almost identical period of austerity, chasing a mad idea which was always bound to make us poorer, three totally inadequate leaders, people being consequently broke and many high streets becoming mainly fast food/coffee/sandwich outlets, charity shops and nail bars then? Y'all have the best day you can although I'll admit to hoping 45 squirms somewhat.

7.4 this morning at 4.30. Now up to 9.5. Following instructions from the nurse, I took my bandages off this morning so that I could shower properly and include my legs and then get them rebandaged later this morning. A bit over-enthusiastic with the exfoliater and the skin on my legs is all flaking off and broken in a few places. Should have used the soft brush - silly me, but it was so good to be able to give them a good scrub (sore but very itchy skin). No doubt I'll get a telling off when I see the nurse. Weighed myself without bandages and I have lost a couple of pounds over the last few weeks. Not much but better than putting on a couple of pounds.

Another cup of tea is calling me, then I must put some cream on my legs (it'll make them sticky and soak into my trousers but the trousers will survive a bit of grease) which are beginning to get quite sore now.
