What was your fasting blood glucose? (full on chat)

Pleasant slightly overcast morning, just what the tiny, tender shoots of grass need.
We hacked back the laurel trying to take over the rose arch last night, so now it looks a bit bare.
Decided to change the bed , but got overtaken by my occaisional OCD and ended up turning out my chest of drawers instead - after the sheets are in the wash.

Fbg 6.9

At the shops, I met a young lady who had a service dog in her backpack. It was a little Chihuahua.... and she was riding an electric scooter.

I had a conversation with her. She said she had fainting fits, and her little Chihuahua helped her to come round from them.

The little Chihuahua was in a sealed backpack with a solid plastic covering, and was trembling like mad as Chihuahuas do...

My mind could not quite get round the logic of the whole situation...

My creative is a drawing of her and the little dog which you could barely see in the back pack, on her e-scooter...

Have a good day...

Wish they would do something about that oopsie notice when trying to helplessly get into the site...again and again....

Or is it just our thread...

I do like your line drawings. Reason for “service dog” almost caused my brain to explode

Unsurprising after delicious meal and rather large dessert yesterday. No indulgences today. Ahem! Eyes the chocolate Tiffin in the fridge. Stay back!!
Do not approach!!
Coffee with friends in a nearby town this morning, it's a bar, not a bakery, so no temptation there.
First though, lemon tea and a retest later.
Hba1c tomorrow.

I'm hoping that by now your medication has kicked in and you are feeling a lot more comfortable. That's more important than your FBG right now. Thoughts and prayers are with you John, here and other places on this forum.

Good morning everyone and hopefully a post on this currently, at best, sluggish forum - well for me at least.
5.7 this a.m.
Yesterday was like a free day at the gym: washing out, rain, washing in, rain stops, washing out …. and so on.
The flowers are loving it.
Pigeon season - lots about. I blame these TV chef programs banging on about sustainable marmite, fancy sauces and what to do with quinoa and mung beans. Whatever happened to pigeon pie?
Anyhow. Art bit - no idea, something fishy going on.
Have a blast of a day - no matter how slow the blast may be. My kofee can is empty, best go and fill it up.

It looks very fishy...I can see all kinds in it @dunelm
Something different each time I look... different worlds....

Good afternoon all. Up early this morning. Tried to log in but got the "Oops"pop up. My fbs at 6.30am. was 9.6. My accomplishment for today was joining the walking group for the first time in weeks. It took the application of several foot dressings, a few trials of different socks and shoes combinations before setting off but I walked just over 2 miles. It was the easier of the twice weekly walks on flat even ground and I don't think I'm ready yet for the more challenging walk up through the uneven woodland but I've made a start. On the way home we called at the local garden centre and bought a selection of plants to put in 2 large stone containers in front of the house. Hoping to plant them before it rains tomorrow. But first a nice cup of tea with feet up in the recliner! Best wishes to you all. :)

Had a call from PALS today ask which pathway we wished to take that is all
in writing which could take up to six months or Email that would be quicker our complaint being when I was diagnosed with PAD I was called in for a scan to determine what would be the best course to take to treat the PAD in my right leg during which they discovered the leaky stent for my AAA they immediately brought me in to fix the leaky stent and promptly forgot all about the PAD so for eighteen months when something could have been done nothing was and now they say there’s nothing they can do.

In the wars again. Yesterday walking around the lovely Fen near us there was a hole camouflaged by grass that unfortunately my foot found.

There's no way l can run classes so have cancelled today, Tuesday and Wednesday. Hopefully I will be able to teach the Thursday classes.

My biggest problem at the moment is stopping Bonnie running off with the ice packs l am using. She thinks it is a great game
