Well the district nurse has been and gone attended the pressure sore on my elbow the wound on my back and the deep tissue injury on my heel whilst muttering disapprovingly about my choice of underwear briefs not boxers.
Hugs as well for what happened there @JohnEGreenHad a call from PALS today ask which pathway we wished to take that is all
in writing which could take up to six months or Email that would be quicker our complaint being when I was diagnosed with PAD I was called in for a scan to determine what would be the best course to take to treat the PAD in my right leg during which they discovered the leaky stent for my AAA they immediately brought me in to fix the leaky stent and promptly forgot all about the PAD so for eighteen months when something could have been done nothing was and now they say there’s nothing they can do.
Oh dear...are you going to shock her further... @JohnEGreenWell the district nurse has been and gone attended the pressure sore on my elbow the wound on my back and the deep tissue injury on my heel whilst muttering disapprovingly about my choice of underwear briefs not boxers.
Hugs as well for what happened there @JohnEGreen
You have been badly let down. You should not have to chase for basic treatment.
If the email route for PALS helps speed things up, I hope you and your family get a proper reply. Even if it doesn’t/can't change the outcome, you deserve a clear account and some accountability.
My thoughts are with you x
I fully agree @JohnEGreenThanks for your good wishes
Well I think that accountability should include some kind of compensation if not for me than the family.
I am still getting the oops message on here and I have tried many times this morning to get in @AnnbMy e-mail provider is having problems - ongoing since early this morning so I am not getting any messages from anyone or managing to send any messages to anyone. Luckily, I had this thread open on the Diabetes website so I can see what is happening here, at least, as long as I don't close it or log out from my PC. Wondering whether to keep it open all night or to just hope to be able to get in again tomorrow. Lots of issues with the internet at the moment, it seems.
Had some really bad news yesterday. One of our neighbours, who went to school with Neil, so she's about 58, went missing. We saw lots of activity along the road and in the air around us, but didn't know what was up. Sadly, her body was found yesterday afternoon. She has had mental health problems for years and that, it seems, was what brought her to this. Poor soul. She always seemed cheerful and friendly but obviously that was just the face that she showed to the world. Her husband and children need all the support we can all muster now.
Getting the Oops message again when I try to see the attachment, John. I'm hoping the it is a pretty reasonable level. I'll try again in a little while to see if the site has sorted itself out again.View attachment 72704A hba1c measurement is of the average of the last three months one or two highish recent measurements should not have much if any effect.
