You have been badly let down. You should not have to chase for basic treatment.
If the email route for PALS helps speed things up, I hope you and your family get a proper reply. Even if it doesn’t/can't change the outcome, you deserve a clear account and some accountability.
My thoughts are with you x

Well I think that accountability should include some kind of compensation if not for me than the family.

Been asleep most of the day...too hot for me...

Creative is one of the roses in my garden...they smell gorgeous...

The cats are all outside, it's too hot indoors for them...

I am inundated by harvester spiders... I had to look it up because there's rather a lot of them at the moment, probably because of my clearing out, but they're carrying all these like silk covered sacs. It turns out they are
cellar spiders (Pholcus phalangioides) and there are more, than usual this year, rather than the usual Opiliones harvestmen.

I am told by AI that they are harmless, and just leave them, and that they will kill other spiders, kill wood lice, and catch flies and so they are useful...AI doesn't have to live with an army of these sac carrying celllar spiders in their house....

My e-mail provider is having problems - ongoing since early this morning so I am not getting any messages from anyone or managing to send any messages to anyone. Luckily, I had this thread open on the Diabetes website so I can see what is happening here, at least, as long as I don't close it or log out from my PC. Wondering whether to keep it open all night or to just hope to be able to get in again tomorrow. Lots of issues with the internet at the moment, it seems.

Had some really bad news yesterday. One of our neighbours, who went to school with Neil, so she's about 58, went missing. We saw lots of activity along the road and in the air around us, but didn't know what was up. Sadly, her body was found yesterday afternoon. She has had mental health problems for years and that, it seems, was what brought her to this. Poor soul. She always seemed cheerful and friendly but obviously that was just the face that she showed to the world. Her husband and children need all the support we can all muster now.

5.6 at 04.20 today. This mostly soup diet isn't doing my BG any harm at all. Nevertheless, when I have some teeth back and can chew things, I shan't be sticking to it. Probably been drinking too much water/coffee to fill the gaps though and I don't suppose that's particularly good for my CKD, or my weight.

It has been raining here, but is bright and sunny right now. However, there's a very strong wind cooling the place down and I'm back into the winter wear to keep warm (I am not going to turn the heating up in June!)

Those Cellar Spiders are hungry little beasties. They have caught all kinds in the night, wrapped them up in neat little packages and left them on my bathroom ledge.....

Creative.. I drew this on my phone the other day when I was in a café... Four Generations of the same family. Or it could've been mum, baby, and two grandmas, but I think it was mum, baby, grandma, and great grandma because they all had the same kind of hair, chin and neck ( but baby hasn't got that gobble neck yet or whatever you call it) although you can't tell from my picture. I observed them for over half an hour. I wasn't going to draw them, but last minute I did....

It was pouring rain all night, but now the sun is out for a couple of hours, and then according to the weather app, it's going to pour with rain again...

Good morning all in Oopsland from what has become a damp morning here in L.A. I know not my fbg but am about to order a sensor. @JohnEGreen good to see you here as always and thank you for sharing the attachment. A timely reminder that managing The D is a marathon not a sprint - AKA The Big Picture. @Annb soup it is then - very Newcastle Dietesque. As for heating in June, I was an almost Mid Summer's day baby (share my birthday with a cousin and an ex- Prime Minister) and there was a fire in Mill Road Maternity hospital, Cambridge, the day I was born as it was so cold. @gennepher thank you for sharing the splendidly observed drawing though I will now always wonder who is watching carefully when I'm in a public place :eek: . @Krystyna23040 obviously hug for the injury but winner for the way you are treating the effects. You've all done very well to wade through this, have as good a day as possible.
