Those Cellar Spiders are hungry little beasties. They have caught all kinds in the night, wrapped them up in neat little packages and left them on my bathroom ledge.....

Creative.. I drew this on my phone the other day when I was in a café... Four Generations of the same family. Or it could've been mum, baby, and two grandmas, but I think it was mum, baby, grandma, and great grandma because they all had the same kind of hair, chin and neck ( but baby hasn't got that gobble neck yet or whatever you call it) although you can't tell from my picture. I observed them for over half an hour. I wasn't going to draw them, but last minute I did....

It was pouring rain all night, but now the sun is out for a couple of hours, and then according to the weather app, it's going to pour with rain again...

Good afternoon and after a long period of Oops!, finally up pops the forum.
5.8 this a.m.
Car in for service and MOT today, some work on the front brakes and other teeth sucking things. Sounds like it will be a tad more than 20 quid and a bottle of good scotch. I just wonder if having a vehicle of my own is worth it. We do have another, big monster thing that Mrs Miggins likes. I like my little Smart cabrio and it does have a nippy Brabus conversion (you can look it up if you like). Should I get rid of it and just rely on my bus pass? I remember that my dad gave up driving after he got into his 70’s, mum in her 80’s - mind you even all those years ago driving her Morris Traveller it was like getting into the scariest roller coaster ride ever devised. And don’t even mention the odd goat or crate of poultry in the back!
art bit - no idea but don’t carp on about it.
I must go. I have a conversation to have with my hips and back on the subject of trying to be flexible.

The hug can be shared between the back and hips and the eventual bill for the car. Thank you for sharing the art. Sorry, but I can't help thinking of the attached and Dara Ó Briain . Blame an old HIGNFY we watched the other night.

Good afternoon everyone in Oopsland.
5.6 this a.m.
Up and at em early this morning - washing on the line by 0730 and all bins readied for tomorrows bin day smartly at 0800.
We had a lovely walk into town, along the top prom and back just in time to take in the washing before a dark and foreboding cloud blew in and dumped it’s load.
Baby grows - not just a statement but small items of easily washed clothes. Our eldest granddaughter is expecting in September and a trip is being made by her and Mrs Miggins this afternoon. The word ‘pram’ has been bandied about which to me is the code word for securing wallets and taking cover.
We started savings accounts for our grandchildren as soon as they individually appeared kicking and screaming so for our eldest grandchild this is a good opportunity to hand over the account which has been going for 21 years. Should see her and baby suitably taken care of and maybe a pint of ale and a cigar for the hand wringing father on the big day.
Art bit - black ink.
Hope your day is proceeding along a sensible time line even if time is not really a constant.

Hm! Well it’s about letting the ink do what it wants in a way. Abstract. I sprayed water onto the paper and dropped on some acrylic ink; black and a bit of raw umber then waited to see where the ink went before teasing it a bit with a cocktail stick. Let dry and then repeat another two times. It looks like what you make of it.
