Easy to see why Mrs miggins keeps you around. LolGood evening everyone on a full on day here in the dark and dangerous north.
5.8 this a.m.
Trolley dash in the supermarket at 0800.
Basket of ironing - Mrs Miggins’ stuff - I don’t iron my things as it wears them out and in any case I’m living la vida loca.
Helped broken arm Bertha get sorted for a shower.
Walk into town.
Chat with Trevor who sits outside Sainsbury’s on his walker, collecting for Marie Curie. Coins inserted into the yellow tin.
Walk back again.
Beef bourguignon doing an 8 hour stint in the slow cooker. Will be used for dinner tomorrow when it will allegedly “improve” overnight.
Some smart Alec tried to convince me that they were from my bank fraud team - hung up and called my bank - phew!
Down to school to pick up The Girl In The Bubble.
15 minutes of reading the latest book with said grandchild.
Just poured a glass of Sauvignon Blanc - the choice drink of unpaid carers.
Art bit - some ink splodges
Hope your day has had just as much excitement. If not, maybe tomorrow!
All sounds good.6.6, a reading that is lowest for a few months the tablets are working, and my dietary restrictions of course. Started higher dose of duoloxitene today, don't feel any different, quite the reverse, Mrs L was a handful today. Everything she started to do to help with chores etc. I had to help her finish it. And of course fetching and carrying, Mrs L needed or wanted.
Went to supermarket on the bus while carer and babysitter where there.
Spent too much, but Mrs L 's choices are not so cheap, and I like to spoil her now and again.
Steak for tea.
Relaxing evening please?
I wish........
Goodnight all.........
My best wishes.
What a beastly night you had.BG is all over the place today - probably due to the awful night I had.
I have a new pain. Excruciating. There was no way I could lay down on my bed, so I struggled back through to the kitchen and the big chair. Thick dressing gown on and a blanket over me, but I was cold and shivering. Took painkillers and hoped to sleep, even though even the big chair wasn't comfortable. That was just after 23.00. Took another dose at 04.15 and finally did sleep from about 04.30. Woke up again at 07.00 but couldn't take any more painkillers until 08.30. Meantime, BG has been dancing around the upper 7's through 8's to lower 9's (sounding an alarm every time it goes over 8).
I had already taken off my bandages last night, so made a huge effort (helped by Neil) to get to the Health Centre to get them bandaged again. When I got back, Libre told me that BG was too low (3.4). I had 2 digestive biscuits to cover that, and a cup of coffee. Not lo ng after that, Libre was at it again because BG was 8.4. I ignored it and had a bowl of soup and now it has dropped back into the upper 7's.
Fun and games!

Wow @jjraak, that is quite a rough ride, the vivid dreams and the after effects of them can be dreadfully disorienting. And it is much worse than a hangover.Evening all.
A too rare post, apologies
I do read and monitor how you're all doing, but 'life'..blah blah gets in the way
Small update, as @Lamont D post reminded me .
I had a med added to my lot, that gave me a rather horrible turn so I stopped taking them.
Rather too vivid dreams & apparently I was twitching and throwing myself about while shouting loudly, while sound asleep, . .oh dear
On the 3rd morning of taking them I couldn't get my head off the pillow
Slept through my alarm, missed work and slept through several phone calls
Lauren was so worried I didn't answer she came back from work to check I was ok .
Groggy as the proverbial, rough for a few days after until it was out of my system .
Psychiatrist agreed I should stop and is prescribing sertraline (?) to combine with the duloxatine. .so fingers crossed
I'm very lax of late with BG levels.
I test some morning and I run mid 6's most time.
Have to think for the short term, maggarett plains will be beyond my reach....for now..
Kind regards to you all
