What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

Probably just diabetes having a mind of its own, or perhaps your body readjusting. I’d take your own advice that you gave to Harrisonk above. If you’re doing the right things, you’ll get back on track. And if you do need to make adjustments, tackle one of the 3 first. I’d wager that sorting out sleep would resolve the BG and weight issues.

Morning all. Not posted for a couple of days - away on a short work trip, during which I ate a bit too much and had a higher than average BG all day yesterday. On the plus side, my boss brought me a Lidl protein roll filled with corned beef for the train journey! I’d already eaten lunch, but felt I couldn’t refuse as she’d been so thoughtful.

Anyway, this morning was a round 5.0 despite waking several times in the night with foot cramps. Happy with that.

Good morning everyone
BG at 5.25 today was 6.5
Still struggling with eating, fine upto evening meal then I crave something I shouldn't have, last night pancakes with a chocolate filling from Aldi. For majority of the day I'm fine in 4/5s then this crazy craving kicks in,need to find an alternative to sweet things! Any suggestions please! K

good morning all

4.2 today

quite a nice looking morning, it feels a bit better now the days are lighter for longer
have a good day everyone

@Granny_grump_ I try to have something in the fridge. My own 'go to' is a type of microwave mug cake, I use one mix to make 3 small ones. I'm not at home at the moment but I'll post the basic recipe I use later in case it will be useful.

Maliferous madam BG!. I fed her yesterday, 1 egg. An undressed salad. Cheese. Cod and salad. 2 Hotel Chocolat buttons. No bolus needed.

And how am I rewarded?

7.6

Onward and downwards. Swim against the tide

Good morning Granny_grump. Sounds like you are managing to get away with your cravings. I would be well happy with a 6.5.which is still within range. Sometimes we need those little treats. With me it's savoury things like cheese, walnuts and crisps! Enjoy!

I’d take your own advice that you gave to Harrisonk .
@Goonergal the number of staff and students who have been totally gobsmacked by my inability to follow my own advice in 40 years teaching!
5.2 this morning and searching 3 years of data for similar patterns and have at least 3 plans for doing things differently.

As the t-hirt had it "patience my ar*e, I want to kill something"
