Thanks for the support, it really is appreciated. I think diabetes is a pain for us all and we all are doing magic stuff, drinking wine, going out and just rising to the challenge every single day. Thanks, @SueJB -- must have been the red wine last night.
You are doing great. I admire you so much for the good fight you are giving your diabetes. It is so much more of a challenge for T1s.
It can be a huge disappointed when you feel you've done more than enough for a nice low number. I ate 20g carbs yesterday and my FBG came to give me a real shock. Onwards and downwardsMorning all. 7.6 at 8.35am. Disappointing as I was very strict with my carbs yesterday. Blame the pain and the new meds! Keep on fighting for another day. Lovely and sunny out. Enjoy your day folks.
Take care philMorning everyone, bit low at 3.0 after cannula change, ok though, have a great day.
@Bubbsie Always nice to see you on here and hope you've enjoyed your walk with Harry has much has I have with Louie,he's shattered now and asleep by my side on settee. He loves a little comfort at times, anyway great BG numbers by the way busy is suiting you very well, take care and hope to speak again with you soon! KMorning...late on parade today...had a good sleep...several cups of delicious coffee & the sun is shining...a beautiful spring day... is it really here at last...getting ready for one of my rare trips to our office...chocolate brownies just come out of the oven...its Easter and my colleagues will be expecting a little something...not diabetic friendly (yet) lots of sugar in them...since there's no flour just 85% dark chocolate butter eggs & almonds...it occurs to me I could use a sugar substitute...make them diabetic friendly...watch this space...off for a walk with Harry while the sun is shining...woke to a 4.9

Fabulous walk with Harry K...sun shining...just a light breeze...hard to believe with the contrast in the weather at the start of the week...just got back...starving...Harry is now out in the garden destroying the rest of what was the lawn...loves to dig holes...sit in them for a bit of sun bathing...hope he will follow Louie's example...have a snooze...might get some more done then...good to hear your little man is enjoying life & the spring weather.@Bubbsie Always nice to see you on here and hope you've enjoyed your walk with Harry has much has I have with Louie,he's shattered now and asleep by my side on settee. I know exactly what you mean, Goacher55.I blame strict days ! If I expect low having been fab I’m usually disappointed if I expect silly I’m often pleasantly surprised -not always
I know, SueJB. So many other unpredictable factors involved that we don't have control over. We just have to ride the waves and celebrate the successful days. Tomorrow is another day.It can be a huge disappointed when you feel you've done more than enough for a nice low number. I ate 20g carbs yesterday and my FBG came to give me a real shock. Agree 1000% ride the waves, struggle against the tide and be super positive. Onwards and downwardsI know, SueJB. So many other unpredictable factors involved that we don't have control over. We just have to ride the waves and celebrate the successful days. Tomorrow is another day.
