What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

Morning all. 7.6 at 8.35am. Disappointing as I was very strict with my carbs yesterday. Blame the pain and the new meds! Keep on fighting for another day. Lovely and sunny out. Enjoy your day folks.:)

Thanks, @SueJB -- must have been the red wine last night.

You are doing great. I admire you so much for the good fight you are giving your diabetes. It is so much more of a challenge for T1s.
Thanks for the support, it really is appreciated. I think diabetes is a pain for us all and we all are doing magic stuff, drinking wine, going out and just rising to the challenge every single day.

It can be a huge disappointed when you feel you've done more than enough for a nice low number. I ate 20g carbs yesterday and my FBG came to give me a real shock. Onwards and downwards:D

Morning...late on parade today...had a good sleep...several cups of delicious coffee & the sun is shining...a beautiful spring day... is it really here at last...getting ready for one of my rare trips to our office...chocolate brownies just come out of the oven...its Easter and my colleagues will be expecting a little something...not diabetic friendly (yet) lots of sugar in them...since there's no flour just 85% dark chocolate butter eggs & almonds...it occurs to me I could use a sugar substitute...make them diabetic friendly...watch this space...off for a walk with Harry while the sun is shining...woke to a 4.9

I sometimes wished I drank I gave up around the start of injecting as I didn’t like the taste, sometimes it’s that pouring that signifies the end of the day that I miss

Fabulous walk with Harry K...sun shining...just a light breeze...hard to believe with the contrast in the weather at the start of the week...just got back...starving...Harry is now out in the garden destroying the rest of what was the lawn...loves to dig holes...sit in them for a bit of sun bathing...hope he will follow Louie's example...have a snooze...might get some more done then...good to hear your little man is enjoying life & the spring weather.

Very late posting today, getting ready for youngest son to stay.....I'm only good for suggestions at the moment .....still a slow mover! Its a wee bit frustrating as I like to be useful,so this wonky leg is good for teaching me patience(that's what I'm telling myself)

I know, SueJB. So many other unpredictable factors involved that we don't have control over. We just have to ride the waves and celebrate the successful days. Tomorrow is another day. :)
