I have said it before and will keep saying it but you @ianpspurs and all the other members of this forum who have been there for me from my first post when I was upset and confused have guided me, infused me with knowledge, answered every single one of my questions brushing aside how many times they had answered them before, at whatever time of day or night @Rachox. Money could not buy you that. My diagnosis was not only a wake up call but a blessing in disguise. I've never felt better. My family have been amazing. I've had my head buried in my phone or some article about diabetes since 8th December. I have got my head around so.much but there is still a lot to learn. But yes you are right. I've come a long way and I'm feeling very proud of myself, good about myself and very happy. Thank you :)
good for you debandez an you should feel good and proud of yourself xx:happy:

Rather a leaden sky but I hope no rain. I'm planning on cycling to the market to maintain madam's membership of the 5 gang.

@ianpspurs Nice number to Witness ;)
@geefull Glad someone got it I thought that line alone was worth the watch. 4.9 today which is ok but hopefully like the weather improvements on the way. Off to Southampton today. Apparently I need to help demolish a shed and smash up concrete for my son. Why a 6 foot 4, 16 stone man needs help from a weak as a kitten 62 year old is beyond me but his mum told me I must play nice:angelic:

Morning all, a disappointing 9.1, but considering I had all the stress of a Eye specialist appointment yesterday, I am happyish with it. On a more positive note they didn't do any laser surgery yesterday!! Apparently my control must be getting better (their words not mine) as the Retinopathy has finally stabilised!!! Only took seven lots of laser to start it. So I am slightly pleased to be now added to the list for my second cataract surgery. Sorry for the rambling this morning.

Take care everyone.

A 5.7 for me this morning.
Today, well this morning at least I have to be responsible, but this afternoon normality will return.
Have a good one folks, warning daily challenges are looming.
